The best restaurants in North West

Traditional pub with a friendly atmosphere and good Robbies cask ales. Been many times on a Friday night when they have live music. Recently saw the excellent Still band play. They have a pizza van earlier which is a great idea. They show live footy and have quiz nights. All in all a great pub.

Absolutely the best takeaway in Cumbria. All family love the food from here, excellent staff. 5✨. (I forgot the Pepsi's. Grab em next time 😂)

The best chippy ever! Food is always fresh and tasty. Fish are huge. We love the mild curry sauce. Plus Theo and his staff are friendly and take the time to chat with us and our boys.

if you like real ales this place to vist its a micro pub but has a varied selection of ales and wines

We visited friday evening with family from Australia. But disappointed with one aspect as you advertise gluten free pizza and vegan food. But was told only option available would be pasta with tomato base sauce. Why are you still advertising that its a option when we where told you cant get a supplier for the pizza bases. Im view of your reply you should maybe take off the gluten free option from your menu then or at least put a message on saying currently unavailable. I came expecting i could have pizza but had to have pasta which im not a great fan of from restaurants, as im not keen on the sauces.

Thai boat noodles is so delicious and the braised pork cooked really well.

I had a breakfast wrap from here, and a latte and shortbread. The quality of the produce is extremely good and for a good price, the staff are lovely, friendly, welcoming, and attentive to their customers needs, I would 100% recommend coming here, I’m definitely visiting again! 👍🏻

Its one of those little bars that spring up all over the place nowadays. Pretty good and a nice friendly atmosphere. And now they have a pork scratching machine!!

If you want a good Indian definitely go there! Too many Indian food places have above 4 stars and they are not worth it. This is a real 5 star in my opinion.

Nice little restaurant and good food, thought it was a bit pricey for what we got and as good as it was I've definitely had better Italians. It was dead when we went with no atmosphere and not the best service to be honest either. With that it's still worth a try but won't be in any hurry to rush back.

Top quality breakfast. Fantastic sausages, thick cut bacon and perfectly cooked eggs.
