Eden Italian Restaurant in Salford

A little disappointed with the service. The waiter who greeted and seated us was great. However, as our meal progressed, a waitress took over serving our table. After being asked several times what we would like to drink, followed quickly by food orders, it began to feel as though we were being rushed. An hour and fifteen minutes into our dining experience, we were informed—belatedly—that on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, booked tables are limited to a two-hour slot. We were told this should have been mentioned upon arrival. By that point, the repeated lack of attention and being passed over made us feel uncomfortable. We ended up leaving our food unfinished, paid, and left exactly on the two-hour mark. My first and lasting impression is that their focus is more on the money on the table than the people around it. Sadly, I don’t intend to return any time soon.

Have ate here a couple of times. Most recently it was a busy Saturday and I hadn't booked but the friendly staff were able to get me a table sorted for an hour and 10 minutes, which I really appreciated. They have an extensive menu and there are lots of great options. There's a lively atmosphere and the place always seems to be buzzing. The food is served very quickly after ordering and is delicious, well worth an evening out.

We have been in a few times and enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly and the menu is varied. The wine list is good with cocktails as well. Not just the usual italian fair, it has some interesting options. Obviously eating out is never cheap but we were all impressed with the food and so the price was reasonable.

The food, especially the spaghetti, was amazing. I tried the pollo Milanese and it was absolutely wonderful. Booking is easy, service was nice and there's wide range of different dishes. I recommend this restaurant strongly.

One of the best Italians I've had! Amazing flavours and high quality ingredients used! Service was friendly and relaxed, always there when you need them while letting you enjoy the food - and we certainly did!

Three of us visited on Sat 29th March….and we had an absolutely faultless meal. From every single staff member was friendly and welcoming…we were seated very quickly and the service and food was superb each course was delicious and served beautifully…our waiter was excellent and extremely professional……I cannot recommend Eden restaurant enough and we will certainly be back. A huge thank you to all.

IF you want to eat Italian cuisine because the owners AUNTY went on a package holiday to SORRENTO sometime in the '70s, DO NOT EAT HERE. EAT HERE BECAUSE... the food is excellent and authentic The staff are 1st class The prices are very reasonable. We had a great meal out in smart/comfortable surroundings, with an easy laid back atmosphere, fabulous service, and great food ( and we eat out a fair bit). I can't recommend this highly enough. We will DEF be back soon.

Lovely atmosphere great service. Wine chilled and good quality. The lobster ravioli was amazing. My husband had calzone and said it was the best he has ever had. Very good value for money too. Atmosphere was lovely gave it a 4 only because it would be nice to maybe have live music. Will definitely return within the next few months for Saturday night . Noticed a lunch offer so will try that too

A beautiful restaurant with delicious food and exceptional service. The attentiveness of Marco and the team was superb. I would highly recommend this place to others. Can't wait to visit again.

Nice place. Bit small front of business but decent enough. Wife commented ladies wasn't so good so some rear TLC (toilets not Mrs's) of business might be in order. Felt a bit mithered to eat up n go so I think it's not high on the list to return.

Would happily recommend! Booked an early Saturday evening for a birthday party of 12, mix of adults and kids. Food far exceeded my expectations; the steak with prawns for main was tremendous; the sea bass, chicken Milanese and short rib ragu were also well received. For wine we had the Chablis (reasonable) and the Valpolicella (good). Service was very good. Bill £450 between 6 adults and 6 kids inc wine and service. We will definitely return

Today, my husband and I had a delightful lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The food was not only fresh but also incredibly delicious. The staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel completely at home. The atmosphere was charming, and the service was impeccable. We will most certainly be returning!

Went for birthday celebration on a Monday night not too busy couldn't fault food and service

Dined here Friday night with family visiting from Ireland & it was outstanding. The staff were so friendly, chatty & attentive. And, as for the food, our plates were clean by the end, it was incredible, so much flavour. My family thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you for making it such an enjoyable evening.

Lovely place, great food and great experience! We were the last ones in, and sometimes it felt we were being slightly rushed but having said that, they still let us eat to our own pace! Would highly recommend!

Food overpriced, both me and another member of the group who had pasta had an upset stomach from it. Gave a service charge on the bill when the service we recieved was poor, spent more time talking on his phone behind the bar. Asked if the bolognese had chunks of vegetables in because we have an autistic child with us to be told no and it came with chunks so flat out refused to eat it. Deserts got all confused so we waited till resolved. Only 3 tables in the restaurant so it wasn’t busy. I wouldn’t rush back!

Nice little restaurant and good food, thought it was a bit pricey for what we got and as good as it was I've definitely had better Italians. It was dead when we went with no atmosphere and not the best service to be honest either. With that it's still worth a try but won't be in any hurry to rush back.

We had a wonderful spontaneous Friday night dinner at Eden having arrived up from London early evening. The food was great, staff very friendly, attentive and accommodating of our 3 year old. Highly recommend, what a lovely local gem.

Eden is my favorite restaurant in Monton 🔥 I've visited Eden a few times this year already and for sure will not stop going there. Food is delicious, big portions for reasonable price, great service . Once there was something wrong with one of the dishes I've ordered. Mistakes can happen and I don't mind as the staff did apologize me and sorted it out, maintaining their high standards ⭐

Great experience. As a family, we have used this restaurant on a few occasions. Never been disappointed. Food, Great choice, always excellent quality, and always served hot 🔥. The atmosphere is what you would want whilst dining 🍽. Nice background noise, chattering etc. Service is excellent and unobtrusive.

I went for the first time last night and I’m already planning on going back soon. The food was lovely, staff were friendly and the restaurant was really welcoming.

We had another amazing meal at Edens this evening . My smoked trout starter was fabulous & had all my favourite flavours on one plate . The presentation & taste of the food was outstanding. Great music and warm friendly atmosphere- . The service is wonderful- a great end to our weekend. We will be back .

The best Italian I have ever been to. Most pasta dishes from other places all taste the same however the spaghetti from here tasted Devine.

Eden deserves its 5 stars for the quality of the food and the service. However, I don't think that it is aiming at me as its target market. I knew this from the moment I was asked if I wanted fries with my pasta main. Also, the carbonara comes with cream as standard. And had the table next to us been occupied, the atmosphere would have been oppressive. So, we enjoyed our food very much and the service was absolutely super, but we'll probably go elsewhere in future for a more authentic Italian dining experience.

Went with the family last night. 9 in total. We all enjoyed our meals . Starters mains and dessert. The food was reasonably priced. Service was great and friendly. Great night.

As a party of nine we had a lovely meal. We pre ordered our starters and main however it was no problem with the staff to add extra choices on the day. The staff were so friendly, the service was excellent, atmosphere couldn't as for better and the most important the food was so tasty, filling and presented. Highly recommended.

Hi just been in for a birthday meal. Ambience was lovely, staff were very pleasant, attentive and efficient. I can truly say this was the best Italian food I have ever eaten and definitely my new go to place for a lovely evening. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience in every way.

The starter of green lipped mussels turned out to be normal mussels but small portions We asked for the potatoes to be replaced with fries but the waiter recommended we have the potatoes and order fries as well we were given one and a half new potatoes and four slivers of carrot and a floret of broccoli the steak was very nice fill it and ribeye but the portions were very small and the misleading mussels were disappointing

The Lasagna is incredible! No matter what I order here I am never disappointed, love the vibe of this restaurant. Staff are very attentive and the food is always amazing!

Lovely restaurant that seems to improve with each visit. The pastas seem to be their speciality but the calzone is strongly recommended too! Staff work really hard and are clearly striving to make the place even better.

We went last week, we were quite disappointed with it, it looks really nice and the staff are nice too but the pizza was really poor, didn’t seem like it had been cooked properly.

Very average Italian food that is massively overpriced. Service is rubbish, you're seated but you have to remind them to order drinks and try and get their attention to order food. Very strange. Wait in-between dishes is too long and overall not somewhere I'd recommend at all.

We came for a new year's eve meal tonight and we both had the rigatoni fillet steak dish and it was the tastiest pasta I've ever had, amazing!

Update: Still as good as ever! Great to see the former Honeypot reopen! Friendly management & staff. Nice comfortable decor and excellent art. Food was excellent, with the Arrabbiata unusually full of vegetables in a nice way.

As it was there first Christmas open you make allowance for waiting between courses, get that right and the restaurant will sell itself.

Probably the best Italian we've been to. Great food and great staff. Always a struggle to get booked in and it's clear why!

Nothing special. Food ok but nothing remarkable about it Super expensive for what it is Not recommended Also have the nasty habit to bring the receipt with the tip already in. Very awkward to decline to pay it I assume staff are paid at least minimum wage The service is not remarkable and tables do not even have the table coat. Leave customer the freedom to decline leaving the voluntary tip without being awkward
