Eden Italian Restaurant in Salford

Nice little restaurant and good food, thought it was a bit pricey for what we got and as good as it was I've definitely had better Italians. It was dead when we went with no atmosphere and not the best service to be honest either. With that it's still worth a try but won't be in any hurry to rush back.

Brilliant food and service for me and my family/friends following a baptism. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful spontaneous Friday night dinner at Eden having arrived up from London early evening. The food was great, staff very friendly, attentive and accommodating of our 3 year old. Highly recommend, what a lovely local gem.

Eden is my favorite restaurant in Monton 🔥 I've visited Eden a few times this year already and for sure will not stop going there. Food is delicious, big portions for reasonable price, great service . Once there was something wrong with one of the dishes I've ordered. Mistakes can happen and I don't mind as the staff did apologize me and sorted it out, maintaining their high standards ⭐

Great experience. As a family, we have used this restaurant on a few occasions. Never been disappointed. Food, Great choice, always excellent quality, and always served hot 🔥. The atmosphere is what you would want whilst dining 🍽. Nice background noise, chattering etc. Service is excellent and unobtrusive.

My daughter brought me here for father's day. I have to say the meal was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic.

We had another amazing meal at Edens this evening . My smoked trout starter was fabulous & had all my favourite flavours on one plate . The presentation & taste of the food was outstanding. Great music and warm friendly atmosphere- . The service is wonderful- a great end to our weekend. We will be back .

The best Italian I have ever been to. Most pasta dishes from other places all taste the same however the spaghetti from here tasted Devine.

Eden deserves its 5 stars for the quality of the food and the service. However, I don't think that it is aiming at me as its target market. I knew this from the moment I was asked if I wanted fries with my pasta main. Also, the carbonara comes with cream as standard. And had the table next to us been occupied, the atmosphere would have been oppressive. So, we enjoyed our food very much and the service was absolutely super, but we'll probably go elsewhere in future for a more authentic Italian dining experience.

Went with the family last night. 9 in total. We all enjoyed our meals . Starters mains and dessert. The food was reasonably priced. Service was great and friendly. Great night.

As a party of nine we had a lovely meal. We pre ordered our starters and main however it was no problem with the staff to add extra choices on the day. The staff were so friendly, the service was excellent, atmosphere couldn't as for better and the most important the food was so tasty, filling and presented. Highly recommended.

Hi just been in for a birthday meal. Ambience was lovely, staff were very pleasant, attentive and efficient. I can truly say this was the best Italian food I have ever eaten and definitely my new go to place for a lovely evening. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience in every way.

The starter of green lipped mussels turned out to be normal mussels but small portions We asked for the potatoes to be replaced with fries but the waiter recommended we have the potatoes and order fries as well we were given one and a half new potatoes and four slivers of carrot and a floret of broccoli the steak was very nice fill it and ribeye but the portions were very small and the misleading mussels were disappointing

The Lasagna is incredible! No matter what I order here I am never disappointed, love the vibe of this restaurant. Staff are very attentive and the food is always amazing!

Lovely restaurant that seems to improve with each visit. The pastas seem to be their speciality but the calzone is strongly recommended too! Staff work really hard and are clearly striving to make the place even better.

We went last week, we were quite disappointed with it, it looks really nice and the staff are nice too but the pizza was really poor, didn’t seem like it had been cooked properly.

Very average Italian food that is massively overpriced. Service is rubbish, you're seated but you have to remind them to order drinks and try and get their attention to order food. Very strange. Wait in-between dishes is too long and overall not somewhere I'd recommend at all.

We came for a new year's eve meal tonight and we both had the rigatoni fillet steak dish and it was the tastiest pasta I've ever had, amazing!

Update: Still as good as ever! Great to see the former Honeypot reopen! Friendly management & staff. Nice comfortable decor and excellent art. Food was excellent, with the Arrabbiata unusually full of vegetables in a nice way.

As it was there first Christmas open you make allowance for waiting between courses, get that right and the restaurant will sell itself.

Probably the best Italian we've been to. Great food and great staff. Always a struggle to get booked in and it's clear why!

Nothing special. Food ok but nothing remarkable about it Super expensive for what it is Not recommended Also have the nasty habit to bring the receipt with the tip already in. Very awkward to decline to pay it I assume staff are paid at least minimum wage The service is not remarkable and tables do not even have the table coat. Leave customer the freedom to decline leaving the voluntary tip without being awkward

Nice food, very slow service took over an hour before even getting a starter and it didn't appear busy. Not sure if any other issues but wasn't informed of any. Nice atmosphere.

Ordered lasagne, top was hot bottom was freezing sent it back so ordered a pizza instead, no money was knocked off the bill, won’t be going back.

To cut a long story short, get yourselfs down there but don't forget to book, it's popular. It's a amazing place, great staff and the food is superb and good portion. Visited Eden on my 75th birthday for the first time. What an experience food was plentiful and, more importantly, excellent quality and taste. The ambience was aesthetically pleasing and the whole atmosphere helped make the experience well worth it. Well done Eden and thank you for a 1st class experience.

Lovely meal. Highly recommend Calzone pizzas, Rigatoni Filletto and LemonTart. Happy, helpful, chatty staff. Tables are a bit too close together but understand that they need to have as many covers as possible.

Visited on a Friday night, it can be really busy so I would recommend booking. The food was really nice! The waiters were very friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. I'd definitely visit again.

5/5 would definitely recommend!! The food was amazing and exceeded our expectations greatly. Although do be warned—very generous portions! I got myself a meatball starter and shared a funghi bruschetta and a garlic bread. I then had the chicken griglia which was perfectly cooked (moisty and flavourful). We then shared the best tiramisu we have ever had. My partner is a pastry chef and loved it!

Eden had staffing issues on the night of our visit. We had to ask to see the menu and waited just under an hour before we were eating the food we’d ordered. It would be very easy to complain, but the whole team were clearly working their arses off and the food we ordered was as tasty as usual. Hopefully they replace the blonde girl who sat us with no menu (/ pointed to a general area of the restaurant and said “your table is ready”… we made our own own way) and did a runner from service not long after. The rest of the team made up for her shortcomings and the young brown haired waitress (didn’t get her name) in particular worked so hard to keep a smile on her face. We had a lovely night overall and would return, which says a lot given the circumstances. Thanks Eden!

We ate here yesterday following a number of great recommendations and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing, two of us had the rigatoni filetto and one had carbonara, we had a side of courgette fries and some garlic bread. We were not disappointed. It was delicious. The portion size was perfect and the courgette fries, which are a favorite of mine, were the best I have ever eaten. I'm not a local person, but I would definitely make the effort to meet friends and family here again; it's a great restaurant, with lovely staff and a great atmosphere.

Been to Eden tonight to celebrate Fathers Day. The food was amazing, very tasty. I had the Pollo Griglia which I would highly recommend. Will definitely be returning again.

The staff and the restaurant are both really lovely but it is the food that is the star of the show! Myself and my two daughters ate at Eden and we all agreed it was the best Italian food we had eaten in a long long time

Not bad but nothing special. The ‘green lipped mussels’ I ordered were not and this needs to be addressed on the menu description. They were tiny normal mussels and the dish was full of broken shell pieces. Garlic bread was v. nice as was pasta.

The food here was delicious, with generous portions, I think possibly the best Carbonara I've had. Staff were also extremely friendly. One little problem was that two people came over in the space of a minute to take drinks orders so we felt slightly rushed with this, however when it came to a food order it took around 15 minutes for our order to be taken. It didn't seem that there was a lot of front of house staff so this was understandable but perhaps just a suggestion for the future. Apart from this the staff couldn't do enough for you. Will be returning!
