decent pint, sorry to say but toilets need a deep clean.

great pub more for the younger generation, beer was great service was fine. very noisy but there was a band on. will call in again next im in the area.

Best pub ever. Pity they’ve let the dress code slip a bit, this odd couple were in, one in “high waisted tracksuit flares”, the other smelt of cheese. Still the best pub in the world.

Rock pub in Eccles. Proper dive bar style place. Live bands on a regular basis, cheap drinks and friendly staff. Absolutely no wine of any sort. Decent range of beer, ciders and spirits though. Toilets are a bit ropey. Overall, I liked it.

What a amazing independent little boozer. The live music was amazing and the beer choice better than most pubs owned buy breweries. Its quirky, no frills and has tons of character. Long love Wangies.

Mark and Viki who runs Wangies are lovely people and the regulars that go there are so friendly.Andvthe live music is awesome as well.I love the place.That's why I only go there every Saturday.I can't think of a better place to go.

Friendly staff and atmosphere...frequent live rock bands playing.. all free entry...plus other events during the year.. well worth a visit, if you've not been before and like live rock/metal bands.

Best and closest rock bar by a mile... Or a few, in either case, I've been here dozens of times. People who own and work at it are awesome, caring, and inclusive, from my perspective. Only problem is if you wear joggers, which is fair enough due to the kind of people that usally wear them. In either case, I decent price for beer (not craft) and always a good vibe, I occasionally don't know anyone there and that's usually quickly resolved. ALSO; it often has live bands on... For free, as long as you make sure you come on time it's just a good time. 🍻

If you want rock music and you're in Eccles, Wangies is the place to be. I don't think it's at all unfair to call it a dive bar, but the staff are all really friendly and the prices are reasonable.

Hard rock, heavy metal pub. But you know the rules, the scariest most intimidating places have the best people and atmosphere.

Good pub live bands on at weekends heavy metal/alternative rock generally extremely popular.

Amazing night here my mates band played side project with Adams parade and sky's turn black such a wicked venue I would recommend this place to anyone that lives the alternative scene and to anyone else to very welcoming and the staff are absolutely amazing and the owner is amazing to 100% coming back
