Wow! Super authentic food, great inside and out and the staff are amazing. Really attentive, friendly etc. this is the first Italian restaurant in the U.K. which I can say wholeheartedly is truly producing truly authentic Italian cuisine. This is my favorite restaurant in the WORLD! I simply like the food and atmosphere there! I have been living in Italy for a year, but damn I love this place, it is more tasty and vibrant! Francesco and Beppe are warm and enthusiastic, make you feel so sweet! My favorite dish is the aubergine, it tastes unreal! And the cocktails are special and enjoyable!

Came for a pre-gig dinner and it was a delight. Staff very friendly, food was quick, fresh and delicious. I ordered a fantastic prawn pasta dish but thankfully got to try my partner's margherita pizza which was stunning also. A decent selection of Italian beers also. Not cheap but not breaking the bank either.

The food was so fresh and incredible, especially the pasta. You can tell all the pasta is handmade! The portions are extremely generous and the tiramisu and gelato were excellent! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and I definitely recommend this restaurant.

It's a lovely Italian restaurant, perfect date spot, especially if you live close by. The main menu is really good, with lots of choice, but the Sunday Roast menu is very good. 3 different types of meat and gravy, all of which are lovely. Would recommend!

Dined here today for my Father’s Day meal, after watching the review from mcr’s finest I thought I’d give it a try, but unfortunately very disappointed with our experience, our table was booked for 16:00 we arrived around 7 minutes early, once we arrived we stood waiting to be seated, a few of the staff didn’t acknowledge for a good 5 minutes just kept walking past us, not even a Hi we will be with you in a minute, 5 minutes later we were seated at the bar, the manager/owner was serving drinks and we just didn’t get a good vibe from him at all I’m not sure if he means it or not but he doesn’t give off a nice aura, we eventually got seated at our table at 25 past 4, once we got seated at our table we was seated at a table for 5 people maximum although there was 6 of us, the food came out quick and I didn’t have a problem with the food it was nice, only slight thing was for £4.50 you don’t get many chips at all but apart from that the food is tasty, I’d of normally said something about the service but I couldn’t be bothered complaining I just wanted to enjoy my day, so we asked for the service charge to be removed and paid the bill and left, it’s a shame as it’s not much to ask for a good friendly customer service.

Finally a taste of home! I was on holiday in Manchester with my partner and we came across this restaurant by chance, we were immediately welcomed by the staff who put us at ease, the dishes ordered were truly exquisite and reminded me of the true flavors of Italy, yes he feels that the raw material they use is truly excellent. I certainly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend an excellent evening and eat well both with their family and with their better half. Neat, clean place, staff present, fast and professional service. If I return to Manchester I will definitely return. I advise

KEY WORD : AUTHENTIC. I have been living in England for more that 10 years from South to the Midlands and i can strongly confirm that is definitely Top 1 Italian Restaurant in the Uk. I have been coming for years and also been ordering on a regular Basis. Vero is Home! I’m an Italian Chef and seeing many others restaurants compromising their quality over the current changes in pricing, brexit etc, reinforces my thought about Vero! The Menu changes constantly , so even if i have already tried probably everything on the menu, i can never get bored. Consistency!! A quick Macchiato at the bar before heading off to work or an Aperol Spritz on the sunny days…YES, HOME…. But i cannot stress enough about Sunday Roast 🥲… oh my God!!! Agnello for Me. Thank you.The amount of times i found my self having to Pre order it and make sure they save me a Portion for me is insane!! It just flies out. Beppe and All the guys in the Kitchen, and Floor are just the best. Even though i am a regular and a good friend of everyone i cannot stop thanking you all for keeping that sparkle alive especially for us Italian Living abroad that miss home so much and sometimes find warmth in a bite.

I've being going to Vero for a few years now and it never disappoints - Beppe and his team always deliver amazing service and the chefs serve delicious food every time Also the Taste of Italy nights are great fun with Beppe being a fantastic host!

A 5 star experience on all accounts. The food was unbelievable as always. Impeccably clean restaurant with an open view kitchen. All staff were friendly and had great knowledge of the menu. Can not fault one aspect of our time here. Will be back for the Sunday roast soon as it looks outrageously tasty!

Ciao Beppe, I brought my 10 year old nephew to Vero for his first visit. He pronounced the melanzane 'the best starter he has ever had'. He's quite adventurous for a ten year old! He then managed to eat an entire Pizza Vero Moderno. I was very happy with my usual prawns (superb as always) and an excellent capricciosa. Everything was great as always and the staff were really good with my nephew, making a fuss of him and making him feel even more important! Looking forward to the Taste of Sicily night Beppe. These are always great fun as well as great food and drink😁👨‍✈️

The welcome and service from Beppe and all the staff at vero moderno was excellent as always. Whether you fancy a drink, a snack or full on family meal the experience is always 10/10. I recently called in without pre booking and was amazed at the trouble they went to, to get 6 of us seated ( it was very busy). The starters, mains and deserts were outstanding. I can't recommend this place highly enough. If you are around the Chapel St area of Salford you must try this beautiful restaurant out. You won't be disappointed

Having lived in Sicily for 11 years, I can confirm this is the most authentic Italian cuisine I have tasted in the UK. The pizza is absolutely phenomenal with different inspirations from southern Italy. REAL pizza. The pasta dishes are very well thought out and very ‘complete’ and well rounded taste wise. I was very impressed. Screw the big chains and ‘fancy pants’ overpriced rubbish..if I lived locally I’d be eating there every week. Beppe and his crew have truly brought over the true taste of Italy to the UK.. FINALLY!

I first dined in Vero moderno for a couple of year's ago, and we find ourselves returning time and time again, so much that it has become my favourite restaurant. The food is amazing, we often try the specials as there is always something new to try. It's hard to pick a favourite dish because they have so many delicious meals to choose from, even if you want something simple the pizzas are the best in town, It's very welcoming and the staff are friendly and helpful, the pricing is very reasonable and they serve my favourite Italian beer, I can't fault it, will definitely be back soon

This is Manchesters best Italian restaurant. The food is amazing, always freshly prepared and extremely tasty. The staff are incredibly helpful and help to create the restaurants wonderful atmosphere. We have held a couple of large parties/meals here (30 people plus) and they have all worked very well - loads of food options, great service and very flexible payment options. We have already booked next years Christmas party!!
