Very friendly m helpful staff. Menu tates where food is from. Just had cheese platter this visit. Amazing selection some of which I have never had before. Will definitely be going again and recommend to friends.

Dissapointed went today for afternoon tea with my mum and daughter menu said twenty three pounds each including tea coffee and a bottle of prosecco which we didn't get when asked lady said menu was updated 1st of April clearly it hasn't been just looked so she should of honoured this table next to us had a bottle I also asked for sugar for my latte which I didn't get so couldn't finish my drink poor value not even a proper sandwich was a bit of bread with ham and tomato on it really disgusted wouldn't recommend when I can go to dispensary heysham there's is much better value with proper sandwiches

Absolutely loved this beautifully decorated coffee shop. The ladies were warm and friendly. The coffee was lovely and beautifully presented with chocolate truffle. Lastly but also, importantly, the toilet was spotless. Good job! will be going again when I'm in Morecambe.

Thank you to the staff for making my daughter's wedding, on Friday, just perfect. The food, the atmosphere, everything was just great. The staff worked so hard. The sharing platters were delicious. Great place for an intimate wedding.

Excellent service and food as always

I went in on a Saturday morning for a very rare meet up with a friend as a mother with a young baby. I initially found the place comfortable, with good service and a lovely coffee but when I asked if they had a highchair to feed my very well behaved baby I just got a snarky 'no' with no attempt to accommodate us. This left me with a not so well behaved hungry baby so I had to virtually down my coffee so I could leave to find somewhere for baby friendly to feed him. It's hard enough for mothers with small babies to see friend and leave the house but this made it a lot harder and will mean I will not be returning. Lovely coffee though.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Festive afternoon tea, yesterday .Good mix of savoury and non meat, my partner is one of "them there vegetarians " It's a really friendly place, coffee and tea good. Treat yourself next time you're close by

No problem with the venue but the so-called artiste was far too loud. Only playing along to backing tacks and miming guitar. We left after one drink and the venue lost income. The staff said they had asked him to turn it down too.

I love Brittlestar because of the ambience, food and service. Was there with my friends and they loved it too. A perfect night out with drinks, food and music.

Try to visit for a coffee whenever we're in Morecambe. Friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere

Nice selection of food and wines. We had to wait a bit for our order but it was fine. It seems a popular place since it was busy! I had the prawn Marie Rose sandwich and my husband had the Brie Bacon and Chilli Jam panini. Both were lovely!

Nice little place on the prom went day time for coffee, have a good menu for lite meals and sweet meats nice and clean access is good for wheel chair users all on one floor.wc also ground can't say to much on that as never used them staff friendly , overall good.still a good place for coffee and tea family friendly and a nice experience.enjoy

Very disappointed,staff didn't seem to know what they were doing,afternoon tea was average didn't get ordering 4 cheeses when there was 5 adults,then told we could order another,which the 6th member of our party a child got on his plate.All very cramped on the table and at the end coffee and teas served to some while others had to wait.Very disappointing afternoon.

What a gem on Morecambe promonade this place is. Friendly, great staff, wonderful relaxing bar/coffee bar. Coffee, wine, beer, food what a great place this is. A must visit.

We booked the afternoon tea for 10 people for my friends baby shower. Staff were really helpful and flexible as I arranged the booking and leading up to it. The afternoon tea was a nice mix of posh picky bits and lovely cakes and bakes. Staff were really friendly and the view of the beach is lovely too. Thanks for a lovely afternoon !

Lovely staff, lovely food, great venue

Beautiful space, friendly service. Love the modern purple and grey colour palette! The menu is small and simple, comprising mainly sandwiches, jacket potatoes and salads. There’s a lovely selection of cakes too. Great spot for a relaxing lunch opposite the clock tower.

The Italian lager (can't remember the name now - never seen it anywhere else) was nice when I dropped in with my friend for a couple of pints the other day. Friendly bar staff. Didn't try the food or coffee, but the place had a lovely smell of roasting coffee.

It was ok , felt out of place to be honest and the drinks where really expensive . Visited in the day time with a friend .

Stopped for coffee,and glad I did. The surroundings are simple yet plush! Nice ambiance,friendly staff and good value. The "restroom" was equally plush. Good coffee ☕ and I will definitely come back. Why has it taken me so long to find this place - an oasis!

I was gifted a voucher for afternoon tea and spent a lovely afternoon using it! The food was delicious, beautifully presented and the quantity was just right. Staff were attentive but didn't hover over us. Not an amazing atmosphere on a Wednesday afternoon but all in a fab way to spend our anniversary.

I booked the Brittlestar for my husband's surprise 40th. From booking to the date of the event everything was easy.. great communication all the way. Beautiful venue! All of the guests commented on the quality of the venue, the food and the service. Hats off to all the staff!

To be called a liar for complimentary drinks and then charged £11.50 for them and be totally humiliated and called a liar, then come here. Called in with my wife, no barrier or sign, barmaid said first drink complimentary so asked for 2 Proseccos thought what a good business. Only after we finished I guess the manager came over to say there was a mistake and it was a private function and the drinks woukd be £11.50. I paid not wanting a fuss or to upset my wife. Then the outside guests cheered and clapped us, couldn’t say as we entered. It was a private do of only around 20. Then for their barmaid to lie and say she asked if we was guests just to get a free drink. Ruined a night out we really needed as locals we will never recommend or set foot in this bar again. Suggest anyone avoid this bar or accept the consequences!

Nice place lovely staff and the lattes are nice and hot instead of lukewarm would visit again.

Called in mid afternoon for a cheese board & wine. Nice little place for a catch up, food menu is basic, but it should have you covered. The cheese board was good. Worth a look.

Had a very good bank holiday Sunday evening with the very talented Melanie Horabin. The customers was amazing and enjoyed joining in.

We called in today for lunch the food ,drink and the staff were all great this was our 2nd visit and we will be back

Absolutely the best platters I ever had. Generous portions and beautiful quality cheeses for really good value. Just to mention we went on a Friday evening at 7pm with friends to eat, drink and chat. Unfortunately we could eat and drink but due to the entertainment we couldn’t chat as the music was so loud. Would put me off meeting friends here again as we just couldn’t talk together. If the entertainment was moved a bit later I would revisit on a Friday. Such a shame as we would definitely want to meet here again for our Friday get together but the music is very off putting.

Absolutely brilliant yet again can’t rate this place highly enough. Fantastic food and excellent friendly staff.

This must be one of Morecambe's gems! Great decor, wonderful views across the bay to the Lake District. Wonderful food, so tasty and very friendly staff. Everything is beautifully clean too. Looking forward to getting there again. Very well worth a visit.

I heard about Brittlestar on Vegan Lancashire Facebook group and decided to visit, as they have a vegan option on the menu (few and far between in Morecambe). Its lovely inside with fabulous views out of the windows of Morecambe Bay and an outside seating area in sunny weather. Ordered two teas with oat milk (no extra charge) and two jacket potatoes with houmous, sundried tomatoes, olives and salad. The food was absolutely delicious, a perfect jacket potato for me as I love all the toppings and nice to see good quality olives used and no extra charge for plant milks. Also had a vegan flapjack and all vegan wines are clearly labelled on the menu. Would definitely return.

The perfect place for hot chocolate on a chilly day. It even came with a delicious truffle on the side. Friendly staff and great wines and cheese boards too.

Miserable rainy day in Morecombe found Brittlestar Wine Bar - the mixed platter was delicious and the service was excellent

Great atmosphere, delicious nibbles and cocktails. The staff are very friendly. Visited here on Vintage weekend and there was a fantastic saxophone player with a wonderful repertoire. Love this place. Only problem was the very slow service, needed more staff to cope with the extra demand due to Vintage Festival.

I went as part of a party for afternoon tea, it was really well presented. A good selection of hot and cold items, and nice cakes to compliment. Really nice surroundings, inside and a nice seated area outside. Great location right on the promenade and views across the bay. A great experience and a great visit.

Arrived with a large party on a busy very hot Saturday afternoon. The staff were amazing. They were friendly, polite , approachable and even obliged our requests to take photos of us! The food itself was amazing. My friends had an ‘afternoon tea’ selection which consisted of so many delicious treats - savoury & sweet. I myself, had a cheese board which was delicious and great value. I would definitely recommend.
