Excellent service from Helen C ( as shown on receipt) and from the other lady didn’t quite catch her name. Both ladies that was working New Year’s Day evening made the experience. Very friendly and attentive, food was beautiful highly recommended. Even though we don’t live round the area would be regulars here🫶🏼 thank you ladies x

An ok Italian restaurant in Morecambe centre. The place is very cold, the toilets are freezing. Apart from that it's spacious, once people came in there was something of an atmosphere. Unfortunately the calamari on the starter selection still had the membrane on it, so there was the unpleasant stringy skin to fight with when eating it which I had to manually remove myself - other than that the starter was ok. For main I had a fish & vegetable dish, the sauce on the dish seemed to contain cockles which was a nice accompanying flavour - however the potatoes were overly salty and gritty. I didn't dislike the whole meal, so I didn't complain at the time as it was edible. It was definitely over priced for the quality though, and uncomfortably cold inside.

Had a lovely meal here on Saturday night. Food was good and generous portions, service was excellent will definately be back.

My wife and I visited Morecambe to meet up with our adult son, on the Friday night we gave no9 a try, so glad we did the food, service and atmosphere was so good we went back on the Saturday night for another lovely evening meal. Well done to Helen and Sharon for such pleasant and smooth service, couldn’t recommend enough.

The ambiance was amazing. The servers were nice and helpful. We enjoyed the delicious food served and each and every item was praiseworthy. A must visit when you are at Morecambe. You won't be disappointed with anything.

Our second visit birthday meal Saturday night food absolutely beautiful you can't fault them in anyway staff really friendly and make you feel at home. Thanks again guys well worth a visit.

Very slow service and not good value for money .

Quaint environment. I felt like I had stepped back in time. Tree trunks on the walls in the bar area gave the idea of log cabin in the wood, brick archway up into the deep blue carpeted dining room with dark 'wooden flooring' placed horizontally on the walls, and off-white wooden panelling vertically beneath. The ceiling was covered with a rather violent rendition of 1950s artex covering that seemed to be trying unsuccessfully to hide a multitude of sins. The wall space was interspersed with subdued lighting and their wires, photos a speaker in each corner and a fake 'bay' window. The old velvet burgundy upholstered chairs have seen better days, I felt like a child sitting at the adult's table I sank that far into it. Not comfortable to sit on/in at all. The tables did not match the chair style. The table settings were simple and nicely presented. We were greeted by the friendly proprietor and later on another waitress both most attentive. The whole baked camembert with fragrant oil and French bread: the top had been cut off! The oil was poured onto the molten cheese. The top should be brown and crisp so the bread breaks it open, the oil should have herbs and garlic in it not just flavoured. The bread should have been soft chunks of fresh baguette not 1cm thick part toasted slices. Most disappointing presentation. Could do better for the price. The mushroom starter was far better very flavoursome. Main course: steak & mushroom pie, melt-in-the-mouth filling, pastry crispy, homemade chips, and a smattering of veg. Oven-baked salmon fillet served on roasted new potato halves a ¼ of a carrot, ½ tablespoon of cabbage/kale and a small piece of broccoli. I love veg and would have enjoyed more of it. Dessert: white chocolate cheesecake with pistachios on top was ok. Chocolate fudge cake heated up came with ice cream but I don't eat ice cream. Again it was ok. Desserts on offer were the usual calorie-laden suspects. On the whole, it was not the best meal I've ever had but it wasn't far off. I felt £90 for 3 courses, a bottle of pinot grigio and two coffees was about £15 overpriced. Toilets... Mmmm, well the toilets were clean but in desperate need of renovation.

End-to-end brilliant dining experience! We came here for a family meal to celebrate a birthday, and couldn't have been more pleased that we did. Welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and truly lovely staff. Keep doing what you're doing, we'll definitely be back!

We are so glad to have found this restaurant. And we will definitely go back. We were the first to arrive and so were able to talk a bit with one of the owners, which was very nice. The place was clean and pleasant. The menu was varied and changes seasonally, providing diners with new experiences. Well stocked bar and a wine list not extensive but good. All in all, a place that will see us back again and again.

Lovely little restaurant, very nice inside however I do not recommend the ribs, they were very dry although slightly made up by the chicken that was paired with them that was nice. Personally I don't think I would come back for a 2nd visit

A charming, cozy restaurant, with a mix of contemporary and traditional. The meal was sublime; to start, whitebait, and for main, 10oz ribeye, blue cheese sauce, and triple cooked chips. The staff were attentive and sincere, and the ambiance was warm and comfortable. A superb experience, many thanks.

We booked in for Sunday lunch on the bank holiday. The restaurant is a little out dated & tired but clean however, this was more than compensated for by the excellent food and service. My partner had the Beef Sunday dinner which looked excellent and tasted just as good apparently. I had a Greek salad with cod fillet which again was beautiful. The rest of my families meals were equally as good. All in all, I would not hesitate to visit this restaurant again.Thank you!

4 excellent main course meals out of 6 however two people who had the veggy main both were ill

Very disappointed, went for my birthday meal. Shown to table, sat down and like I was going to fall through the seat, cushioning completely collapsed. Starter, one like dishwater, the other prawns missing and brought separately. I had a sirloin steak that was terrible. Gristle all the way around the edge. After cutting it off not much meat left. All in all not the best meal I have had!

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food and service was excellent considering there was 17 of us. I recommend the belly pork for starter, and the no9 special for main. Well done!

Steak tough and tasteless chips didn't taste fresh.

The food was great, only downside was the coffee, it was cold, sent it back and got a cold replacement. Wasn't the only one, most of the group I was with said the same.

Pre-booked a 50th birthday meal for 10 people on a Friday night. The team were really lovely people, giving great service and nothing was too much trouble. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed their meals, my own fillet steak was cooked to perfection and delicious. Lovely special touches made to the evening by the very friendly team. Will definitely be back soon

The best food I've had in years. Amazing service, the meal was cooked to perfection and served in good time. Dare I say, it was better than when it used to be Alfredos. I would highly recommend this amazing restaurant and I will definitely recommend it to everyone I know. I cant wait to return.

Nice food, decent value but it's the friendly attentive service that makes this place so special. We'd walked out a restaurant just across the road because of the slow service and so glad we did as we discovered No9. Best place we went to in Morecambe and worth a look,

It was our first time visiting today and we really enjoyed it, I know where to come when we come up this way again.

Just had a lovely meal here tonight. We showed up at opening time (5pm) and were lucky to get a table as they were fully booked for the evening. I would definitely recommend that you call to book a table to save disappointment. This little gem is a lovely place with lovely staff and amazing food. Would highly recommend! Also they are part of the 'Eat out to help out scheme' throughout August which was an added bonus!

We used this place for many years. It always was excellent and now it is even better.

On recommendation from my employer I ordered dinner for delivery to the hotel where I was staying. The homemade cheese and bacon burger with double cooked chips (+ beer special) was truly mouthwatering delicious I have to say! I was even making all the appreciative “mmmMMM” and “nom, nom, nom” noises quietly to myself as I scoffed it down.. lol Helen was absolutely lovely I have to say and dropped me a text when she was on her way. No. 9 will certainly see a “repeat performance” from me in the very near future and I would certainly recommend to other hungry, food loving individuals. 5 stars and a BIG thumbs up 👍🏻😋

We’ve just ordered burger and twice cooked chips to collect as restaurants are still closed. Meal was ready on time and piping hot and fantastic quality 10/10 Well done 👏👏👏

We've eaten at No.9 loads since opening, and have really missed it during lockdown. Thankfully they're doing collection and delivery now. Really made our night! Hearty, amazing food as always, and was pipping hot when it arrived. Real lockdown date night. Can't reccomend it enough!

For the first time In some time my wife and I escaped the kids, and had a night to be husband and wife not daddy and mummy. So my wife asked for a recommendation on places to eat. So here we are. The atmosphere is amazing with a real old school restaurant feel. The staff are full of smiles, and give you the feeling that you are welcome and really care. Now for the important part!! The beer was amazing and local. I recommend the "Lucky man" I had the burger and before the meat I would like to mention the sourdough bread was so fresh and had a great crunch. The meat was full of flavor and amazingly moist. Dessert I had sticky toffee pudding and I wish I could have got the source in a pint glass. I could keep going but my wife now wants to continue our night. Time to move on. We will be back. 10/10
