Incredible flavours, food, service and atmosphere. The restaurant has an authentic Spanish feel, Jamon hanging from the ceiling, exposed brickwork, and one of the best playlists I've heard in a restaurant for a while (familiar songs with a Spanish/Flamenco twist).
Service was fast, attentive and friendly, one small error with the drinks order but that was rectified immediately without hesitation.
The staff were very knowledgeable about the menu and came across as incredibly passionate, which is refreshing and encouraging.
We started with a selection of pintxos, which can certainly be shared between 2, making it very easy to try several dishes... We ordered the Prawn and Anchovy, Jamon and Manchego, pork belly and ox cheek Empanadilla to start.
All were perfectly prepared, providing big, bold flavours that quite literally took me back to my time in Spain! (Like the Ratatouille bloke!)
After a bit of a rest we decided to try the patatas bravas, chorizo croqueta and some more pintxos... We actually ordered the Prawn and Anchovy, Empanadillas and the Pork Belly again, they were that exceptional!!
We also decided to try the octopus, which was mind blowingly good.
We finished with churros AND cheesecake (with sherry) both of which were just exquisite and finished the meal perfectly.
We finished our drinks whilst talking with the Head Chef/Owner who made us feel incredibly welcomed and like we had been a hundred times before.
Pintxos is easily the best Spanish food I've eaten outside of Spain. We will definitely be back, the sooner the better.
Would taken more photos but we were a bit distracted by the incredible food!
Lovely family run Malaysian Restaurant offering consistently good Malaysian food at a reasonable price combined with a friendly service. We have been regulars at this restaurant for many years and we have never had a bad meal. The lady owner of the restaurant has a permanent but genuine smile on her face and we look forward to our visits to this restaurant.

A dying breed, a proper traditional chippy selling excellent fish and chips at very reasonable prices. Alex at Ash House Farm BnB put us on to it. I had fish, chips and curry sauce and it was very good. (fish cooked to order)
Superb surroundings in an old grocery shop. The staff were excellent and attentive upon arrival and throughout our stay. We had Sunday lunch that was superbly cooked and the flavours were amazing. We would highly recommend and cannot wait to visit again.
We came here for a late lunch one Saturday afternoon. We managed to get a seat outside in the sun. I had the miners Benedict which was eggs Benedict with black pudding and my wife had the courtyard Benedict which had avocado and chorizo on it. The food was really nice and the staff and service were great. Will definitely return.

Stayed one night with breakfast and evening meal. The Inn is located in a small village, it's quaint and picturesque and makes a good base for walkers and exploring the area. There isn't much to see in the immediate vicinity however.
Room was in a converted outbuilding accessed from the car park. It has everything you would expect but a little lacking in top end detailing. All in all it was good but not in a way that exceeded expectations.
The Inn has an evening and lunch menu with seasonal specials. It's clearly aimed more at the food trade rather than having a traditional pub vibe. The food, both main meal and breakfast, was excellent. Again, it's not a pub grub type offer but is more in the quality restaurant area in terms of pricing and menu. It lived up to that billing though and service was good throughout.
Overall it's good at what it does, the room just didn't quite match the quality of the food and I'd probably have liked a bit more of a traditional pub feel.

Sunday Lunch at the yan was - "Just wow!"
The four of of has two sharing platters - between us we tried all three meats - beef, lamb and pork - and rated them delicious, but the local Herdwick Lamb gets our top score (with a great fresh mint sauce too). Huge, crisp Yorkshires, crunchy roast and creamy mashed potatoes (my grandmother would have been impressed), cauli cheese, delicious veg ... plus friendly and helpful service. The sticky toffee pud and cheese boards went down well - but the blackcurrant rolypoly with paul pink custard won the day. I will be trying to replicate this at home.
The Yan also has a good wine list - as the driver, I enjoyed a Sea Buckthorn gin and tonic. We will be back!
We stayed here Saturday night had an excellent Steak pie and Chips, the drinks were very reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and courteous nothing seemed too much trouble for them.
One of best breakfasts we've had in the morning
Alison was a excellent landlady.
Really lovely food, very welcoming staff and great service. Very authentic cuisine and very tasty. You got to try it if your in Prestwich. Will definitely be back!
