Food was great, service was great! Only wished they did chips!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Postcode Coffee House and my expectations after reading some of the reviews on here were easily surpassed! Such a lovely space with such warm welcoming staff, in particular Ben who is a chivalry personified and who ensured that my visit was the best it could have been. Thank you everyone at Postcode for making it the special place it is.

Just came by for a flat white, and drove quite a bit out of my way to get here. There is parking on site. The staff were very friendly. The flat white was milky, and didn’t have a strong coffee taste, no latte art. A bit disappointing. The place is *not dog friendly* which was unfortunate, as we had a dog with us. There were a couple of tables outside, but they were occupied by people smoking (not consuming anything). Had to get the coffees poured into take away cups, as we couldn’t stand and drink them while holding the dog lead.

Came in on Tuesday for a drink, the new lady Amy served us, she was very lovely and polite and extremely customer oriented. The drinks were delicious as always. Would highly recommend. 😃

Postcode has an amazing and relaxing feel all the staff are brilliant and can’t do enough for you. The full team today Amy, sherry, Vicki, Ben and Jake were brilliant nothing is too much trouble and the food is spot on. I would definitely recommend.

Absolutely love it here! The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and the staff always have gone above and beyond for us. The food and coffee is really delicious and they are always changing up the menu. Would 100% recommend.

Jake and his team are beyond exceptional in ensuring quality service and exquisite food and drinks. The atmosphere, even when busy is peaceful and energizing at the same time! I've been coming here for years, it's such a great place to have meetings (work and social), to study, or just to grab some breakfast/lunch and really great coffee! One thing has been consistent through all the years, the stalwart barista extraodinaire and sublime coffee artist: Ben! What a legend. His caramel machiato Spiderman art is top 👌

Wow had an absolutely great time, the coffee and sandwiches were wonderful and my friend really enjoyed their milkshake. Also that devilishly handsome gentleman made us feel really welcome, Ben I think his name was? Any really recommend it!

My regular coffee house. I’ve been coming to postcode every week for almost a year. Since becoming a Mum I was looking for a place where I would feel comfortable to have a change of environment from being in the house all day and this place has become my go to. Jake, the manager at postcode, never fails to greet me with a huge smile, he consistently makes me feel welcome every time I come in. The best coffee in Wigan by far, cheaper than your usual chain cafes! The food is delightful, a perfect choice if you’re looking for a lunch time pick me up. This coffee shop is tucked away near Wigan Pier and there weren’t many people out & about on a Monday morning in February. I wasn’t even sure it was open from outside, but when I walked in I was surprised to find a bustling cafe-restaurant & bar. Despite the tempting menu (breakfasts, bagels, soup, jacket spud, pizza) it was the wrong time of day for food, but my soya latte was excellent

Popped in for a quick coffee after dropping my car off at the garage. Great coffee, friendly staff, will be back.

Awful experience. Half of the breakfast menu couldn't be ordered as no food left in the kitchen. This was discovered after 20 minutes of queuing. Ordered a pot of tea for 2 and got 1 cup which was a paper cup with the bag still in it.

I visited yesterday with my small dog being carried, there were no signs saying dogs not allowed. I paid for my order, then the assistant told me bluntly no dogs allowed inside, I would not have ordered and paid if I had known. I sat outside, and noticed two other people with dogs who were inside. I will not be visiting again with or without my dog.

My friend recommended this place . Whith who actually we had a breakfast there and a caramel macchiato THE BESTTT ONE . Just big love . The atmosphere is so cozy and so lovely . Perfect to come with friends or your love one during the day or just to sit there for a coffee and to work on your project. 🥰 Definitely will recommend and will come to visit more . The food was delicious, I ordered toasted bread with avocado egg and bacon .

Fantastic food, I like the wacky menu but service was slow this time

Really nice relaxed atmosphere. Away from town or the retail park, so feels a bit calmer and quiet. Very clean and spacious and the staff are very friendly and polite. Had a bacon pretzel bun and a latte. Both were excellent, really couldn't fault it.

Dogs not allowed inside, smokers allowed outside, so basically if you want to eat whilst with your dog you’ve got to eat it with the stench of people smoking, even the tables under the canopy going in people smoking so you can’t even enter the cafe without a lung full of smoke, not good for anyone especially children.

Popped in on the off chance and discovered this is a little gem. Best coworking space in Wigan.

The family and I had a fantastic meal (bagels and a Salad) with a great coffee today. I genuinely do not know what took me so long to discover this hidden gem in Wigan. Price is about right for the quality of food. The staff were very friendly and professional, service was prompt and the free wifi was very good.

I was a little worried about coming here for a while thinking I might get bombarded with Christianity. Now I've been. I find it by far the best cafe in wigan. I love the people both customers and staff. The food and drinks are fantastic, particularly the coffee. I highly recommend paying a visit. Me and my daughter are regular customers. Looking forward to our next weekly visit.

Fabulous place to meet up and enjoy an amazing cup of coffee, cakes and food. The homemade cakes by Lily's are incredible and are some of the best I've ever eaten - Alex is a baking genius :-). Excellent access and parking. Easy to get to. Plenty of space to work away from home as well. The staff are the BEST; so friendly and helpful. Thank you for creating such a wonderful warm environment.

Great place for early breakfast. Good coffee. Mixture of comfy seats and tables. Very clean . The staff very helpful. Worth a visit.

Lovely place in terms of originality and quirky styling. However despite it being very quiet when we visited there were loads of tables that hadn’t been cleared which limited our choices of where to sit and raised the question of why when there were plenty of staff available? We ordered our coffee and was told it would be brought over which was a good 10 minutes later - again why? It had the signs of probably being much busier earlier in the day (Saturday) as so many pots still on the uncleared tables, however this didn’t give us the best impression. On a positive note the coffee and fruit cake were both delicious, and lots of free parking onsite.

Best sausages in the northwest. Couple that with perfectly cooked bacon and a pretzel bun, nothing beats it. Yorkshire tea and illy coffee, lovely vibe with sockets everywhere for those wanting a chilled area to work on their laptops.

Food and service is good. The pop up shop is a great idea. Afternoon tea is nice but drinks aren't included, including tea which is odd.

I recently had a negative experience when I was told by the manager that dogs were not welcome (only service dogs) so there was a debate about how I should place my order as the staff don't approach the tables to take orders. She suggested that I tie my dog up outside but this was out of the question for obvious reasons. I suggested that signs should be placed stating guide dogs only but this was dismissed. My issue is the fact that the cafe provide dog treats and water so it can be a bit misleading to customers, especially since I have been present when other dogs have been inside and staff have failed to challenge the customer. I just hope its not a case of breed discrimination (German Shepherd that is well trained). I still enjoy the cafe but i feel this topic needs to be actively addressed.

Had a delicious philly steak n cheese bagel. Nice friendly atmosphere and good food,coffee and service. Not too expensive either.

Underwhelming bacon pretzel bun and a bagel which called itself a Ruben yet wasn’t close. An artificial tasting chocolate milkshake. Place used to be good but not so much now. Also pretty expensive for what it is.

Brightest star in the coffee business! Right between the stadium and the city center, PCH offers carefully prepared food in a very chilled atmosphere (saw a bunch of ladies knitting and chatting while having a coffee, brilliant!) Just go for pancakes (finally with American style crispy bacon) or a Philly steak bagel or a quick sandwich, Illy coffee served, you can't go wrong.

Wow. Amazing place that I found through friends on instagram! Have always meant to drop in and I glad I did. The flat white is amazing! The toilets are immaculate and it’s nice and calm whilst having my fruit toast. Will be back again. Thanks.

Brilliant great food service second to none

Pleasantly surprised by this place. It modern with an industrial look inside, lots of benches but some comfy chairs too. The menu is mainly brunch stuff, sandwiches, bagels and salads. A huge bowl of smoked salmon, avocado and feta salad was only £6.75. There were a couple of hot specials on when I visited. Nice coffee and hot drink selection. My only pet peeve is the slow service on hot drinks. The staff are friendly and polite though. Oh, and this place is nothing to do with the church as far as I can tell. Plenty of free parking though.

Postcode is a wonderful place to go. The environment they create is completely different to your standard coffeehouse. The drinks, whether it’s a hot or cold one, are always great! As for the food, they have something for everybody. I’ve tried various things off the menu, and they never fail in making it to a brilliant standard! The staff are always welcoming and they play a huge part in wanting to attend more than once. I’ve been for a solo visit to study and read, while also going with friends, family and groups of people. The experience has always been a fantastic one and I would encourage anyone to experience this place for themselves!
