Some bar staff are really good, fast, polite and attentive, others however, are simply rude. Ex-barman here from a very very busy pub, I know what good service should be.

Music belting, great place to watch the Football and Rugby 🏉. Staff on point very friendly and approachable. Drink prices on point, great atmosphere x

Watch out for people walking in the road and watch out for taxi blocking the road it's a very unsafe area on a Friday nights.

Stuart and caz traveled over 3500miles from Turkey to come here for a pint we met the landlord amd landlady in turkey and we had a fab time we had a good time staff 100% good beer and atmosphere well u carnt beat it party on thanks

Had to wait a while to be served although there was not many people in. The atmosphere was quite good, we enjoyed it overall. Good location and friendly locals.

New years celebrations. It was an awesome night. Many memories made. Landlady is very friendly and goes out her way to make you feel welcome. Have returned since then and enjoy the atmosphere

What a great pub we called for our Sunday lunch and were very impressed, friendly welcoming staff especially blondie, the girl had and gave every customer a warm and welcoming smile very attentive to check that we had all what we needed and everyone seemed to know what they were doing, will definitely be calling in again Thank you all again👍👍 💯% good food and beer

Went in for karaoke, not many people in at 2130, the Dr's is a nice guy , with a great sound, but..my only complaint, his music in-between singers was far too loud, otherwise, we would have stayed longer.

I enjoy coming to this small, family pub. They often have entertainment and the bar staff have always made us feel welcome whenever we've been.

Myself & my family ordered 4 sundays dinners for takeaway and ended up extremely ill! All fighting for the toilet throughout the entire night! For some reason we thought we would give a second chance and came for a pint. What a mistake! Was greeted by a rude lady and was left feeling uncomfortable so darted as quick as our legs would take us! Never again.

A good but quieter night . Probably the time of year

Called in for the roast dinner, selection of beef, chicken and gammon ( has run out of chicken but wasn’t after that and it was almost 4pm so late in the day ) Food was good and home made and was only £5 and deserts was £2.50 ( Jam roly, chocolate fudge, sticky toffee... also had scones ) so £7.50 for 2 course was pretty good value.

Not a good place to go to unless you live next door to it. Saw a fantastic band there last Friday, Moon Dogs, playing 50s plus music, great sound, unfortunately the drunken land lord and lady for got to advertise.......asked the band to not play the second spot as they did not want to pay the AGREED fee....poor show on behalf of the pub owners....stay away....
