Having used Tsang's a number of times over the last decade, I have always found the service and quality of the food excellent and prices to be pretty reasonable as well.

Pice was OK, chips were soggy and the beef curry was like water . Wouldn't recommend it

It's a 20-minute drive to this place for me but absolutely worth it. The food is delicious, and the service is great. You always get a few freebies also . Highly recommend

Omg I can't believe I've never been before after so many people telling me how good it was. The first of many visits. Extremely polite and courteous, great food with decent sized portions. Fantastic value for money. Quick service. Telephoned our order and it was ready to pick up in 15 minutes. Amazing!!! And to top it off a free sausage for the dog. Perfect!!

New to the area and fancied a Chinese Takeaway!! The Staff were friendly , the portions were very generous and most importantly it tasted absolutely delicious…..We have definitely found our new takeaway!!

Phoned the order through left to pick it up 5 minutes later waited another 5 minutes to receive it which is good and food was really good always is I think I go quite regularly

I have been going here for a few years now and each time, the service has been pristine. Unfortunately, I don’t live in the area anymore and it takes me at least 30 minutes to get there, but it is so worth it! The chips are cooked to perfection and not one chip ever gets left. The meals are good value for money- I had Sausage, Chips, Curry and a can of coke last night and it was only £5! Usually, I order a smack/potato scallop too and they are brilliant! The staff are amazing and always serve with a smile on their faces!

Shockingly slow service, mediocre food. Used again because so close. Fish and chips were great. Poor gravy. Staff much better.

Lovely ladies who work here, very friendly and a pleasant experience. Your food is always ready on time, and the chicken fried rice is one of the best in Wigan. Proper chippy chips are served with big portions and the prices again are one of the best in Wigan for a Chinese takeaway. It's cash only but who cares, you get a freebie too when collecting your order I would highly recommend coming here for exclusive grub.

The food from here is consistently good quality and always cooked fresh. The only downside is how long it takes so definitely recommend phoning your order through!

First visit and not at all disappointed. Fantastic takeaway, lovely, helpful, friendly staff. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, Egg fried rice, Salt and pepper chicken wings and prawn crackers. All very good, large portions, very hot and tasty, extremely good price under £20. They only accept cash. Highly recommended.

1st time using this chippy,ordered food n waited about 6 mins or so for the food. Friendly staff The food...... chips were freshly cooked as was the chow mean but the fried rice was cold. I'm about ½ a mile from there so wouldn't have gotten cold on the way home . Threw the rice àway as didn't wa. A risk a dodgy stomach. Will probably visit againbut I'll ask to make sure the rice is red hot.

Only been once but food was delicious

First time we have used this Chippy as were visiting friends in Wigan, I have to say it is the cleanest chippy I've been in for a long time! Impressed by the sparkling clean wall tiles and clean floor. Also there was hand sanitisor & masks available for customers on the counter, The Covid screens are not the cleanest looking but thats because of the plastic material not because they are dirty. The staff are very friendly and the food was hot & delicious. We will definately use this chippy again when in Wigan.

I have just had a lovely meal from Tsang's, everything was cooked perfectly, the meat was plentiful and tender, (special curry /fried rice), so much food I could not eat it all and they gave me free chips, it is correctly rated as 5 star and at at a very good price, I have found my new Chinese chippy.

My old local take away and still a favourite after all these years. Typical menu and good food but the staff are particularly friendly and amazing. Everytime I visit, they always offer something for free. Chips, crackers, spring rolls etc. Lovely people!

Would have given 5 stars as all food looked and tasted great. The only problem was my hubby ordered extra prawns on his special chow mein and all prawns in his dish were very overcooked. Tsangs staff were very pleasant and friendly. Takeaway very clean and looking good from recent revamp.

Best Chinese takeaway in Wigan by far, had the bbq spare ribs & salt and pepper chicken for starter, Special curry and egg fried rice for main, everything cooked to perfection and more than plenty of food for 2 people👍👍

Curry sauce is tasteless and salt n pepper chips are not just a portion of chips sprinkled with chilli flakes. It's a no from me

Staying at the nearby Premier Inn (about a 2 minute drive away), we fancied a first takeaway in a long time. This place was pretty busy, but I loved the staff here.... always laughing and joking with each other and the customers. A number of times they seemed to add in a complimentary sausage to customer’s orders. Thought it was just for regulars but when serving up my order I was asked..... what else would you like.....prawn crackers, spring roll, sausage.......? Gratefully asked for a spring roll and was given this and a sausage!!!! Left this takeaway with a big smile on my face. As for the food, pretty good, had a few better but had far many worse. Probably a ‘7’ if I’m being honest but would definitely visit again if I was in the area.

Always a good take away from here , I have been going here for 30 years , it is the best chippy in Wigan and jonny and sui are the nicest people you could meet , Singapore chow mein is superb and beef in black bean sauce is fantastic

This is a gem of a chippy, great food and friendly service. The people who run this are warm-hearted and always make an effort to go that little bit further, whether it's a free sausage or a demonstration of how to make a rose from a carrot head and a spring onion stalk while you're waiting! They definitely know how to look after their customers.

Agree with everything said below, the best takeaway in Wigan. They don't promote or advertise anything, they let the food, prices and service do the talking. The food is amazing for very reasonable prices. That is why I look for to visiting at least once per month... Little extras they give you top it all off, please stay open forever 🙏

Called in after travelling back from Wigans game at Castleford, half an hour till they shut but they were still prepared to cook a fresh batch of chips for us. Had crispy chicken in a sesame chilli sauce and it was excellent would defo reccomend it on the specials menu. Not the first time we have been here and wont be the last!!

Belting couple and excellent food

Was recommended by a friend so thought i would give it a try. Very clean and authentic chinese, good feel to it as soon as walked in. Lovely couple behind the desk, they said they have been there for 25 years. Offered some free bits to try which were really nice. Some char sui pork spring roll. Great food, went safe as i often do but for a first time but next time i will ask them to pick out a dish for me to try. Excellent chinese will 100% be back. Thanks!
