The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in North West

£5.40 for a sausage bap, consisting of 2 measly supermarket sausages in a small dry bap (the small dry bap was an 'extra' £1 as part of the cost). I thought places like this in London were the worst, but congratulations Hemingways for providing the worst value for money I've experienced in many years (I travel 15 days a month to various cities, so I have a large bank of reference establishments). What a complete and utter rip off. If I hadn't been in a rush I would have made my feelings known directly to the manager, whom I'm hoping would have felt appropriately embarrassed and ashamed.

Clean Only been in afternoon but enjoyed it

Visited this store today with my sister.We waited patiently to be served, after a 10 min wait we started to placed our order with the female member of staff i handed her the toasted sandwich to heat up,she just took it off me without saying a word. I then asked for 2 coffees one skinny latte and 1 soya then a male member of staff started to make the coffees in large glasses until I stopped him and said, I'd like small ones not large thankyou, we were not asked what size we'd like and it had already been put through the till as large, that was the first mistake.The toastie arrived and the female just literally threw it on the tray without saying a word.My sister said that's rude what you've just done,and you've never even said please or thankyou right through that transaction.My sister said we would like a refund as we don't feel you deserve our custom,your very rude to which the male then said to my sister stop shouting.My sister is partially deaf and does speak loudly but wasn't shouting,I was shocked by his comment, he should have just tried to defuse the situation at that point not defended the female member of staff.She shouted over the male member of staff, I said sorry didn't I but it wasn't sincere,he then proceeded to do the refund.I worked in retail for 19 years for a reputable company and customer service was at the the for front,also my sister works in whiston hospital in the restaurant and the same applies there, looks like costa don't seem to think so, the staff definitely need afew lessons in customer service.We will definitely not be visiting that branch again!

My twin brother and I were having a meet up with friends in Kirkby Town Centre, we drifted from The Market Tavern to The Brambles Pub were we continued our day out socialising. A good pub,interior is nice ,a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings, pool table, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its just a proper little locals pub. We enjoyed pints of guinness in here and lagers plus some vodka and cokes ,atmosphere was good ,staff on top form and all in all a really good visit, spent a good few hours here . We really enjoyed our visit here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Brambles Pub is easy to locate along Cherryfield Drive in Kirkby Town Centre. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from midday. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Its usually one of the quiter places in this area of town and has a wide variety of music. However it can be a little pricey

I’d like to start with saying how amazing the staff are, very welcoming & every time I come in they know my order which I appreciate a lot, I refuse to go to any other subway.

We booked last minute for dinner on the evening of Saturday 28th September. It was really busy and had a lovely vibe, lots of celebrations taking place as well as small groups. The food was excellent, I had the fish pie with French peas, it was delicious, unusually the pie wasn’t served in a dish but on its own surrounded by a fabulous light sauce. My husband enjoyed a pork, black pudding and apple burger topped with blacksticks rarebit, again delicious. The service was excellent, there truly must be a Brunning and Price University. Another fabulous meal, great service, lovely decor and relaxed vibe. Highly recommended.

My first time visiting today and well, excellent doesn’t do justice!! The food was amazing, I had a mixed grill, steak cooked perfectly and the chicken was juicy and tender. Everything was piping hot and the staff were fab too!! Nice music playing to suit all tastes and it wasn’t too loud you couldn’t hold a conversation. Thank you for a lovely experience xx

Deposit given to secure the room, advised can be used over the bar on the night,on the night was told I get it the next day when room is cleared. Turns out no money is returned as I got my own DJ. Fee was never mention when discussing residential DJ/getting my own. Clearly staff are not aware of any fee as I was given conflicting information twice. Bouncer is rude, tapping people on the shoulder instead of speaking. Inappropriate comments were heard from barmen, young girls were made to feel uncomfortable. I had a terrible experience in this pub I went in and there was two dogs running around jumping up at you and they stunk. They were Staffordshire bull terriers and not being a dog lover made me quite uncomfortable. I proceeded to the bar to be greeted by the rude bar staff no please or thank you and landlady who seemed drunk swearing like a trooper. Had a pint off lager which wasn’t the best and left as soon as possible. Not a great atmosphere and never to be visited again.

Costa Coffee is missing the Coffee as everytime I ordered a latte, flat white or cappuccino, it's just like warm milk! Overrated and overpriced. I wonder; is anyone actually sampling these recipes before approving the quality? How can you sell a coffee that is so unbalanced, tasting like someone just rinsed a cup that had coffee in it? No healthy food options either, it's just the same old sandwiches high in fat and carbohydrates.

Coffee here is the best in Southport. At least you get a full cup of coffee and not half a cup of froth!!
