Cool bar, always visit when we pop into town.

Its usually one of the quiter places in this area of town and has a wide variety of music. However it can be a little pricey

Apart from being dirty, unhygienic and the staff being rude, this place is horrendous. The manager is terrible, and she treats her musicians awfully. She talks to them disrespectfully and has a history of cancelling musicians sets without telling them - taking away their wages for their job which they depend, with no warning whatsoever. Honestly this place most nights is boring, drinks are overpriced for what this place is and the bouncers do nothing to help women who are in trouble due to the weird crowd of men who hand around here.

Came here with a group of friends as we saw they were doing a weekly Sunday quiz. What a night we had, really cheap drinks, and the quiz was amazing, loads of different interactive rounds and cash prizes to be won. If you're out and about in Liverpool & looking for a fun interactive quiz, then I would definitely recommend heading to La'Go - we'll 100% be back next week!

Me and some friends were visiting and had a long weekend in liverpool. We was looking for things to do on our last night on sunday and was told about lagos pub quiz. We were a little sceptical but this is nothing like a quiz you've ever done, it did not disappoint. It's completely interactive and every round is different - theres a bingo section, virtual horse racing (I know!) and loads of fun trivia that never gets boring would defo recommend if your visiting or a local, its on the busy seel street in town too.

Went the pub quiz here last sunday and was such a laugh. Fully interactive quiz with all different rounds and a mad host. The name "quiz on your face" says all you need to know! best quiz ive done in a long time, defo be back next week!

A great, quirky bar in Liverpool that has brilliant deals on. Getting a Beavertown neck oil and a single G&T for under £7 is incredible value. We visited early Friday evening and there was a great singer, guitarist on playing some classic cover versions. Staff are friendly and it has a cool vibe.

La'go is great for a midweek drink at a good price for the City Centre, with a fair choice of drinks and a unique selection of shots.

Always come to Lagos for a cheeky pint great atmosphere and decent prices and we won the carabao cup today bonus 🔴

Always used to come here as a student and when I was living as a graduate and could never fault it. Always good music and cheap drinks (even after covid!) Well worth a visit

Quite a nice bar. The drinks are really good prices. They have a pool table. Bar was not very busy when we went in. You can rent a battery pack to charge your phone.

Came with a few friends for Birthday celebrations. Drinks were cheap and very nice. Music was also spot on. However, security are letting too many people in. The place was over capacity. I understand you want to make a profit, but the customers should not suffer as a result of that!.

Great drinks, fast service & boss atmosphere. The young girl who served us Joanne is a babe best barmaid in town. Get on the baby Stella shots - 3 for a fiver. Tunes were sound. Deffo be back.

A dying breed of bar, Being polite and courteous towards staff is always respected and rewarded, the manager is a hoot and over the past 8 years I've never had a problem with the bouncers. If your looking for a safe bet for cheap drinks and great music look no further.

An a Scouse institution, should be everyone's port of call at least once, cheapest prices in town possibly. All welcome from the auld fellas in the day, workers in late afternoon/evenings to the students in the night. It's not pretensious and doesn't try be what it's not ...love lago

Owned by pub direct who work with a dodgy fruit machine company. Not dogey? then try and phone the number on the machine when you've been ripped off. Robbers with no heart

First time in Liverpool, find this place, walked in at 1:45am to absolute bangers. Indie and rock tunes from my youth, Foos, Nirvana etc. When Tenacious D Tribute drops at 2am you know you have found the best place in Liverpool. Thanks to you all there, you made my night! Next time I'm in Liverpool I'm heading straight here!! Also, whoever is in charge of replying to the trolls leaving reviews, you are killing me, some of your replies make me want to come back even more!! 🤣🤣

The atmosphere in here is always great . The staff are amazing and this place always makes me laugh with thier slogans on the wall . A great place to start or finish you're night out

Went here to watch the Tyson Fury fight. Staff were really friendly and there were lots of places to sit so I could watch the fight on one of there several TV screens. Drinks are cheap, clean toilets and only gripe is decor could do with brightening up, it's a bit dreary inside.

Was thrown out of the club violently after leaving the toilet! Enough said! Won't be returning!

The manager blamed me and my friends for calling an ambulance for our other friend who was spiked after two drinks. I tried to tell the manager my concerns and she said she was looking for him yet hadn't asked me a single detail about his appearance, we were clearly getting brushed off. Every time I've been since the manger and bouncers have accused me off being a trouble maker for daring to call an ambulance for my friend who was spiked. The manager is misogynistic and has no regard for safe guarding issues, it's a shame this place has really went downhill and there are much better clubs on the street.

A great place to watch live sports in the day and in the evening. Known for it's Dance to the Funky retro 90s music indie and RnB. It can get very busy after midnight Fridays and Saturday nights but that's to be expected from it's popularity. Know for more of a student / 20s to 30s crowd. Also one of quickest places in Liverpool to get served the bar staff are amazing.

Early evening drinks, already evidence of very drunk teenagers. Strange older men perving on the young women stood at the bar. Cheap drinks and friendly bar staff. Very studenty...always wonder what sort of place needs 2 bouncers on the door at 7pm?? Good for youngsters... To the owners perhaps you need to visit your own establishment more often

Cheap beer during the week day but it goes up a night and all weekend.Ive never been in at night but I believe it gets packed

Nothing like heading to a bar to purchase a shot of tiki fire for you and your friends knowing that almost everyone in the group is going to heave. Really decent place to come for cheap drinks and shots.

Nothing special about the bar, it’s cheap but the bouncers are rude and unnecessary aggressive so wouldn’t spoil your night by going - plenty more bars in that area with better atmosphere where you won’t feel intimidated going in!

Door staff were extremely aggressive towards me and my family. 100% would not recommend, there are plenty of much more friendly places to go.

My coat was stolen from Lago on Sunday night. The door staff were unhelpful and actually smirking about the incident. My friend's coat was also taken but his coat was improbably retrieved by the door staff as the thief left the premises. Why one coat was retrieved but not the other was not explained by the smirking doorman. Avoid.

The Bouncers are absolutely toxic, I was having a piss and they looked over the top and started kicking the door because they thought I was doing drugs. They dragged me out and wouldn’t listen because they were stubborn and stupid.

I was out with friends for the first time in years on a reunion and the bouncers were aggressive and like power-hungry maniacs. Ruinied the night with their ridiculousness

I have been here quite a few times over the past year or so. It is a standard bar serving some very nice beers at a very reasonable £2 a pint. Bar staff seem nice and no trouble at all with the other patrons.

Interesting place, two pounds please. Shoddy characters in there but generally a good vibe, gone abit down hill since Sue left but two pounds a pint, take my money. Has a real nice cosy vibe to it, and in summer the sun terrace is a treat. Warning tho: after 8pm drops your pints and run out there. Turns into club and smelly annoying students turn up. Would be nice to see them have a juke box, and bar nibbles like crisps and sandwiches. But two pounds a pint!! Tesco across road for meal deal. Lovely

I probably don't go here as much as I should as I cannot resist dropping into Brewdog Liverpool next door but whenever I visit La'go I always have a good time. The bar itself is cool,it's got an edgy look dominated by a long serving bar, nice wall art and great decor and furnishings ,there's also plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside on their small terrace looking out onto the busy and bustling street this bar is found on. We were here on a freezing cold Tuesday late afternoon, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff who served us a cider each,we got a table were we just chilled out, warmed up and took in the great bar we were in. The cider served here was outstandingly tasty, iced cold, sparkling and so refreshing, we soon polished it off and before we left we sampled a few shots ,the berry back shots and sambuca shots were superb and great value for money. We moved on after our beers and shots and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. La'go is easy to locate on Colquitt Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, Midday till 3am. A great bar in a super location and if your in the area well worth checking out.

My boyfriend and I came here because it looked warm, quirky and atmospheric. Even though the drinks were reasonably priced, the service was atrocious. The skinny brunette girl served us (Thursday 29th November) I asked about cocktails and she looked cluelessly and responded that they don’t do cocktails here, whilst the other server was making one for the lady stood next to me. I went on then to ask for a couple of different things which they didn’t have, her responses accompanied by a roll of the eyes, and a rude patronising tone of voice. We were only in Liverpool for a short break and to be “welcomed” into a bar with such ignorance was a shame
