I’ve loved this Didsbury store and used it regularly for years. It closes at 7.00, and when I went today at 6.15, I was refused a proper cup, he said it was policy to only use take away cups after 6.00, we’ve had proper cups there for years, after work. Totally unacceptable - any coffee shop or garage can offer that!! ! I didn’t bother - totally changed my feelings about Nero. I felt totally unwelcome - we spend over 1.5 grand there every year! His attitude was awful - I felt a nuisance being there This has improved 💕

I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this establishment. The service was rushed and the staff did not seem interested in listening to my requests. I specifically ordered a decaffeinated coffee, but what I received tasted strongly of caffeine and left me unable to sleep for the entire night. This lack of attention to detail and disregard for customer satisfaction is unacceptable.

I’m not sure if the staff have changed recently? The drinks used to be nice but I’ve been twice over that past 3 months and both times the drinks were awful. Coffee bitter and chai latte had no taste at all. To be fair, they did remake the drinks for us but unfortunately they were still not good at all. Also very dirty place: tables not clean, floor dirty full of used napkins, chairs full of crumbs. Won’t be visiting again. Plenty of much nicer places around here now, Gail’s, Caramelló and Afti all lovely, just a shame they are shut by 4pm.

I have been using cafe Nero for years, especially this branch and I am have always enjoyed the drinks and the atmosphere, and I have to mention the main staff here are amazing, professional and look after the regular customers,however, this time we had one of the worst coffee ever, cold, terrible looking, and literally half-cup full coffee, it seemed that the staff (not main staff) were so lazy that she could not be bothered to heat up enough milk to fill 2 cups, and once we returned them she just added cold milk to them like I don’t care, shocking customer service, very disappointed

Nice cafe in Didsbury. Very friendly service.

Somewhat more expensive and less choice than at Costa at the other end of the village.

Stopped here on spec as we didn't know the area and had a curry, rice and naan bread dish. Hot, tasty and served promptly. This is is obviously a "Local" pub, despite being on a main road.

Coffee was OK overall, if a little cool. Quite a few tables had not been cleared of used cups, and toilets were very dirty. After one was cleaned it was closed for the rest of the afternoon (2 hours), leaving only one in use. Surely cleaning both and minimising the risk of spreading germs should be the norm. Cleanliness seems not to be a top priority sometimes.

Great Latte nice tiramisu and pistachio mousse cake. Friendly service. I also liked the chiçken and bacon toastie I was surprised how nice it was.

Drink and service were good. Chairs,near windows, are quite sunken in so could do with a bit of an uplift! Drink was as I had requested and always good in Nero.

Nice cafe convenient location friendly service

Credit to all the staff of Cafe Nero Didsbury, been going there for over two years now and they are flawless! So welcoming, efficient during peak times, and just generally really that store in every capacity!

Ordered 3 tuna melt paninis and left a note specifically asking to cancel my order if any of the tuna melts are out of stock because my sons have autism and they only like the tuna! As you can clearly see on the receipt!!!!! I got my delivery opened the bag to find BACON! WE’RE MUSLIM! If I say to cancel my order then cancel my order, all to make a bit of cash. Disgusting 😡

Didsbury Nero is really good, always listens to clients, always great coffee

Honestly this is one of my fave coffee shops, not only because it's local to where I live but Atlanta is the sweetest server, always serves drinks wonderfully and her smile is contagious! A credit to the store.

Cafe nero coffee near perfection food excellent

AVOID - OFFENSIVELY STINGY PORTIONS - ex: large with 30% + foam! (not a cappuccino) criminal especially in this time where costs are high all around. Plenty of alternatives such as Costa and individual cafes. Again totally ripped off and no opportunity to complain or return this time as coffee was picked up by a friend.

Always one of favorite Nero's but usually busy as well.

Yesterday, there were 4 people behind the bar, of which one girl was making coffee. There was a queue of at least 15 people and when one boy paid attention to the girl at the back she looked and said: "That's ok..they will wait". An old man in front of me asked why it took them so long, and the answer was "Because I don't feel well," but in a terribly rude tone. The cafe is dirty and neglected, and today, a staff of three are standing behind the bar, telling each other stories from last night. Very unprofessional.

Best 'chain' coffee house in Didsbury

Just left here and witnessed staff being so rude and disrespectful to the delivery drivers. Making fun of them and being purposely slow preparing their orders. Disgusting way to treat people - Caffè Nero, do better.

Well.. what can you say? Service could be faster, coffee could be less bitter, and the prices could be a bit lower. Nero doing what it does.

First time at Neros , although I'm not keen on the aftertaste of the coffee that's just my personal taste . The texture of the latte was gorgeous and the coffee tasted nice as I say it was just the after taste for me . Loved the shop and atmosphere. Staff were really nice .

Very friendly helpful staff. I was juggling baby grandson and sound support dog - they welcomed me and brought me my drink to the table. Appreciated.

No vegan lunch options :( Literally nothing in the fridge. Just an overpriced, small sausage roll on the counter and sometimes there's a croissant. But no sandwich or toastie or something. It's all animal products.

Good location, pleasent staff but would like there to me more power sockets around the venue, they seem to be very limited.

Reasonable Americano coffee but too small a cup, hence extra exoensive, and service too slow despite not being too busy! Stick to your McDonald's 99p coffee. That's great tasting at great service plus value. Lol.

I received fantastic customer service on the 07/06 18:00. They didn’t have the chicken pesto lattice that I ordered so sent a sausage roll instead. They also sent along a card attached that let me know if the change and this can be used as a one time free drink at any Cafe Nero. Also let you know where the allergen information is for the subbed food (a small detail but could have a massive outcome!!) just wanted to share the really positive feedback. Great place with great customer service!!!

The state of the ladies/gents toilet put me off going there again. Don't know when it was last cleaned, soap dispenser not fixed properly to the wall and no toilet paper.

Great coffee as per but one issue I’ve spotted…Hygiene!! A customer came with a dog and a member of staff stroked the dog and rubbed the dogs mouth etc. The staff member then went onto touching food and handling machinery behind the counter. At no point did she wash or sanitize her hands. I’m sorry I know people have dogs etc but this is a hygiene issue and should be taken seriously! It was also noted by other customers in the queue but nothing was done after it was reported!

Not bad for a quick breakfast and hot drink in a cold/rainy day. A bit pricy for what is being served though!

I personally love this place, staff are great, chatty and friendly. The coffee is always top notch, the barista's are well trained and fast to serve. So much variety other than coffee aswell. The food is really nice and the cost isn't bad at all. Definitely a treat to go in there. Also if you have the rewards card or app you get some freebies. What's not too love about it. They even have some outdoor seating if that's your thing. Very nice relaxed atmosphere located in a great place.

Great place and very welcoming to dogs. Walk round Didsbury Park and coffee and cake makes for a lovely Sunday afternoon.

I like this branch but not quite as much as the Stockport branch as it has slightly limited seating. Service is friendly though.

I don't come here very much but when I do come it is a very enjoyable experience as the staff are friendly and food and drink tastes nice and is well made. I would suggest this as a place to get coffee to anyone thirsty. Another thing to add is there is an app where you can get stamps for buying hot drinks 9 stamps equals a free hot drink. On certain days you can get a free coffee here with O2 priority (an app for people with O2 to get free things).

Always busy, friendly and most of all dog friendly after a walk in local park or up the river. Usual great good and coffee.

Over the last 12 months I've always used Cafe Nero as a quick take away coffee stop but unfortunately the level of service has become dire. Visited 9.30am on Sunday 3rd October with a simple request of 2 cortado coffee's to take away, two people serving, additional worker seemingly making up Uber coffee orders. I joined the queue at position 9, should have known better as it culminated some 12 minutes later in being served and upon paying for the coffee well in excess of a 20 minutes wait time. On leaving the back of the queue had reached 15 people stretching out on the road outside. The orders in front of me weren't by any means excessive, maybe I caught them on a particularly bad day with training needs for the staff but its just not worth the wait and management need to address the matter sooner rather than later.

This is my local branch and the staff are friendly and helpful. They make the effort to remember your signature drink. However, the manageress is rather unfriendly and quite moody I would avoid being served by her as her negative auro could ruin your experience. Overall if you happen to be in Didsbury I would certainly consider a visit.

Lovely staff members who were very helpful, spare seats available and was a pleasant atmosphere. Had to deduct one star as there were very few plug sockets available for charging, so I had to leave before I intended to, but still a lovely place

LIKED THE SALTED CARAMEL LATTE. Not sure if the staff scanned my app correctly as I was looking forward to double cracker offer, after visiting this was not activated. I am sure the staff member behind the till did not scan it properly. So only 3 stars this time.

Good social distancing in place, lots to choose from. Definitely the best chain store hot chocolate you can get, far surpassing Costa's efforts. Staff are friendly enough. A bright haired chap came a cross a bit rude once, but you never know how someone's day has been up to then. Reasonably priced for a coffee chain.

As you'd expect from a chain coffee shop. All the Covid guidelines were followed. Tuna Melt is always perfect and their coffee is lovely and smooth.

Man with Blue hair wouldn't serve me and my son a strawberry frappuccino as it will mess up his shop costing... Strawberry goes out of date and not popular so No you have to have vanilla. Staff you cant be bothered. Months iv been told no to strawberry for months! Service is dreadful and the staff have attitude problems.

Asisto aquí varias veces al mes, debido al tiempo en el que siempre estoy cuando hay muchas madres ruidosas que dejan a los niños en la escuela que reorganizan toda la tienda. Un hombre ocupa mucho espacio con su bicicleta, por qué esto está permitido en la tienda que nadie sabe. Los baños son peores que los de slumdog millonario. Lo peor de todo es el tipo que no cambiará sus medias, sin saber qué puede hacer el personal al respecto. Aunque el café está bien.
