Good pub hood vibes especially for children's bir6hdsy parties. I took my little girl to a 4th birthday party and the staff didn't bother any parents about the children . Really nice place . 5 stars

Even though this is a very basic local pub the beer is kept in good condition and is very palateable. The staff are really friendly and the locals are great people to get on with.

Been in tonight as soon as we walked in bouncers on the door enough said full of d**k heads looking for trouble, what started out as a nice local pub is now a rough dive well if thats how you want it good luck. Went in a month ago was full of locals having a nice time now it's full of d**k heads fighting with bouncers on the door good luck you will soon be closed as our party of 6 will no venture in this dive again. Lord Longworth is living up to the reputation of the flying bottle again

Lastnight lordlongworth Landlord was disgrace dancing singing all having fun No arguing fighting or any trouble what so ever We all got thrown out for having fun and good time I'm first to hold my hands up if in cause any trouble in pubs Ossy But lastnight my friend said why we get kicked out what for having fun Landlord response get out now you don't know what happened lastnight???? What were people have fun laughter and being in high sprits what a disgrace Look back at your mount of cctv and and I challenge you that it shows no trouble in the slightest if was then yes you had every right to do what you did But it will show fun and happy people and laughter Utter disgrace utter uncalled for Be a man and apologise what disgrace

Thought we'd give this place a try and so glad we did, nicely decorated, very clean, friendly staff and polite. A good menu with enough choice to suit everyone, my husband had vegetable lasagna with chips and veg for £4.95 and I had burger with chips and salad for £3.95 everything was spot on, lasagne was nice and moist, chips were really good and the salad was really fresh and crisp, all the meals are reasonably priced, we will definitely call again.

Nice pub but i don't like football ! The Queen mothers famous saying was football keeps the masses happy! To explain it means they are thick Lol

Called in for tea a couple of times in September, perfect when you cant be bothered to cook! Food was nice and inexpensive and was served very quickly.

Recently reopened after extensive renovation work and a great job has been done. Very friendly landlord and landlady. Great food and from good value. Large selection of cask ales. New function room to open soon.

I dined here with my wife and could not believe how good it was, quality home cooked food, value for money in a lovely environment, I had the steak pie which was magnificent and my wife the chicken in pepper sauce which was superb, piping hot and full of flavour. I will definitely dine there again soon and I urge anyone to do the same, lunchtime specials available two courses for £6.95 which will be the best value for money anywhere.
