I’ve been wanting to go for awhile, so finally, for my birthday, my husband took me for lunch. Excellent food, even better service - a real hidden gem!

Lovely hearty lunch in this old atmospheric old hotel & pub. Latge menu, decent well kept pint and good selection of local ales and fantastic service. Hopefully will visit around Christmas time to sample the Christmas lunch and maybe stay over.

We called in here for breakfast as it is open early and has a good location in Albert Dock. There is a very good range of pastries which are all baked on the premises and are very fresh. Two coffees and a generously sized chocolate pastry cost £11.55.

A lovely,quirky place in a glorious setting. The food is well prepared and generously served. We were so impressed by the friendly staff who whilst busy, had time for a quick chat. p.s. probably the most dog friendly establishment I've ever been to !

Great bar with a wide selection of drinks and friendly service

This is a gem of a bar. Absolutely brilliant staff, beer and felt welcomed. Music, vibe and flags say yes please sit and have a drink.

Food was ok in general, but 7 pounds for a small salid.... never again. Loved being forgotten about by the staff and having to beg to pay the bill

I went to Urmston branch they took one hour to bring food and order the hot and sour soup it was full of ketchup and parrota was not cooked properly and curry is very worthless and there is a hair in soup . And won’t go back any more completely waste of money and also we wasted the food.

So wonderful, incredible food, wonderful service! I had to leave early for my friends birthday meal as my baby was screaming the whole time but the staff were so helpful with my pram and making space for us and one member of staff even offered to hold my crying baby so that I could enjoy my food for a minute!
