We go here quite a lot and I could leave 5 stars every time! Absolutely the best chicken and burgers in Preston and beyond. Mega staff. Great setup with games consoles. What’s not to like!

Could not fault this place. Food was incredible, good sized portions and well priced. IPAs and cocktails delicious. If you're into video games or nostalgia you can sit at a table with a console, but don't have to. Would 100% return

The food here is amazing and the staff are super friendly, came here with my Mrs and young lad and it's family friendly. There are games consoles at some of the tables which is a really cool touch Highly recommend this place, we will definitely be back

Best cocktails in Preston! The Manager and staff are so friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere. Although I didn’t eat there today the good looked delicious. I will definitely be returning.

2 stars for sanitary towels in the toilets and nice tasting drinks. Originally when we walked in we were sent away “No more Walk-Ins tonight”. To which another server stopped us and offered a seat at the window (we were only stopping for a drink). We go up to order our drinks, the Mystery drink isn’t in the deal (this isn’t indicated anywhere) and we go okay and order something else. Nice drink arrives quick. We watch 4 more couples walk in as “walk-ins” and get seated. Couple next to us get offered a proper table whilst the offer was never made to us. Treated like the last 2 puppies at the shelter by staff. Poor service.

Very good burgers. Reasonably priced. They do a lunch deal 12-4 which is unbelievable value and tbh I think the original cheeseburger that you can get on that deal is better than some of the more expensive ones I've had from the menu. The only reason I've given it 4 and not 5 is because I don't think they're quite as good as Smokies. Still highly recommend.

The bar is great, consoles for customers to play, great food. Prices are reasonable. My only gripe is that, whilst still very good, the fries don't seem to have that same kick as they did when the restaurant was formerly "Smashed" Will deffo return for another date night.

Our third visit (all evenings, 6 of us) to AHNP and it just seems to get better! A couple of us had the "Harry..." smashed beef burger and the rest of us had "hole in the road" (bagel) smashed beef burgers, one "B got bacon" and one chicken burger. We asked for some vinegar, that said sorry for not having any but brought us a dish of extremely yummy beef gravy. 😋 Honestly great food and friendly staff as always. We can't wait to go again! 😃

Gonna keep it short and sweet, one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Great atmosphere , amazing friendly staff , love all the retro video games, next time we visit Preston we will be back 100%!!!

Didn't have any food due to lack of acknowledgement when we entered premises , chose to have a drink and then move on and cheeky vimto we got on 2 4 1 was very weak probably due to the offer on cocktails that day. Was gutted to be honest as we had always wanted to try the food when it was at Miller arcade and after reading about the closure and new location we were looking forward to the experience from excellent feedback on social media but as stated we were very disappointed from going in and then drinking up fast and leaving the establishment. I'm not one to be put off from first impressions and look forward to visiting again at some point and experiencing the occasion as per the highly rated reviews.

Just enjoyed 2 great burgers and fries at All Hopes No Promises! I had the Zoltan and it was absolutely delicious. The AHNP sauce was delicious and the seasoning on the fries very tasty. 👌 Great, friendly service too 🙂

Been here once and then came back and got a collection order Atmosphere is brilliant, you can eat your food whilst playing games and having a drink, makes the perfect night. The food is amazing, some places you get a burger and there are toppings "just because" but at AHNP you can tell thought when into every item. The poutine fries are a must and the gravy is incredible! People are always friendly and happy to help. They have a wide range of cocktails and even have one where you can tell them what kind of drink you want eg 'vodka and fruity' and they will make something for you I got collection today and the food was still incredibly. They packaged it great and nothing leaked including the big tubs of gravy !

Quirky restaurant and bar down a side street in Preston, very close to the train station. They have some games like sonic that you can play at your table, these were towards the back though, so I didn't see how many they had. Got sat down pretty much as soon as I walked in, got given drink and food menus straight away and a waiter came over within 5/10 minutes to take the orders. Drinks were made and served in under ten minutes after ordering and food came within 30 ish minutes. It was very busy and I felt like we waited a reasonable amount of time. I ordered a bacon cheese burger which came with fries. my partner ordered the Zoltan burger.. which had one patty, jalapenos and spicy cheese sauce. He also upgraded his fries to a classic poutine style. My burger was very nice, it was massive too. I had two thick, nicely seasoned patties with a good cheese pull and good quality, crispy bacon. My partner's burger was smaller, he enjoyed it though, he liked his poutine fries too, but unfortunately they was spicy for some reason, the gravy was tasty though, it just had a kick Cocktails were good too, they have a 2 for £14 (where the cocktail has to be the same) The menu had lots to offer and they also do wings and strips. I'll definitely go back next time I'm stopping by, it's hard to find a nice burger place these days.

Not joking the BEST burgers EVER. I live in Manchester where there’s tonnes of burger options, but get the train to Preston just for these burgers!! Fries are banging too. 10/10!

Ordered food after over 1 hour asked where the food was to be told it hadn't gone through to the kitchen, unsure why as it is only a small environment. Then asked would we like a refund or jumped to the front, we opted for the food as we were hungry. Then proceeded to wait a further a 30 minutes, asked for a refund as it was getting silly. This shouldn't happen for such a small place. Also embarrassing considering we had said all the reviews had been great to our friends that don't live in Preston. Won't return

Great atmosphere as always, have visited the old smashed and the old venue of all hopes and the staff are always brilliant. They were especially busy tonight and we were told there would be a 45 minute wait for food, which was absolutely fine we just had a drink whilst we waited. There was a little panic from the staff who were incredibly busy but they were incredibly attentive to us and superb. I appreciate this is a new venue, I would recommend a few more staff so some could make the cocktails etc (which are brilliant) whilst some simply serve, however as mentioned the staff on duty did their absolute best to please everyone and the atmosphere is brilliant. The food is all freshly made so the wait is perfectly acceptable, it’s very reasonably priced and quality ingredients. There are also many consoles retro and modern to play so I would recommend coming here for drinks even if you aren’t eating. A stein of Dortmunder lager for £9 (2 pints) kept me very happy!! Love this place, the food the drinks the atmosphere and the staff, a real gem in Preston. See you again very soon and thanks to the staff for being so hospitable!

Found this hidden gem whilst staying the night in Preston. As soon as you enter you can feel the energy. We were seen to straight away and given a table for two. Loved the decor and how the menus are written. The food is absolutely banging, probably the best burger I've had. The service was spot on, even got some complimentary halloumi fries whilst we waited. Will definitely be back to try more when we are in the area again.

They do great burgers and have retro gaming consoles. Even 45 year olds can have fun here. Excellent

Some of the female staff seemed abit unfriendly in my opinion my mate sed the same. The lad that was working there went above and beyond thought. Food was great as always

Absolutely fantastic. I had to nip out while everyone else in my group was ordering. As soon as I sat back down, someone was back to take my order and helped me through choices I hadn't had chance to peruse. Then the food arrived... Amazing. Great fries, burger done to perfection with brilliant toppings. 10 out of 10. Bravo. I expected good, greatness was delivered.

Came here after travelling from Manchester to stay the weekend. Easily got a table and was served quickly. Staff were polite and friendly.

5 stars for the food! But losing a star as the transition from bar service to table service has not gone well. Waited 25 minutes to order food, drinks were ordered and never came. Staff seem to congregate behind the bar and chat rather than providing a reasonable level of service. Hoping for improvement soon!

Edited after revisiting. Chicken side dish hard and overcooked, chips suspiciously like Aldi skin on fries, staff incredibly miserable.

Decent value burger deal , BAD side was the frys already had salt on them ( quite a bit of salt actually) I personally think its s bit daft pre quite heavily salted frys/ chips, the atmosphere I couldn't eat my meal in there as the music as the music was load and when I looked downstairs it was even loader ( that will be them wearing earphones when they get 40 IF THAT)

Lunch time deal is the best thing in Preston.

Food and drinks are great and the staff make the place even better. The consoles downstairs also make this a favourite spot. It's a 5 minute walk from the bus station too.

So been coming here since my fiancé mentioned it to me when they first opened. “Think we’ve found the best burgers and we need to go!” I wouldn’t say reluctantly as I’m always open to try new places especially burgers! Who doesn’t love a burger eh?! I’ve actually been following their story for a while and the whole legal battles that have happened and so glad they are where they are! The staff are class and always willing to help, the owner has done a fine job turning a small joint into a place where people can go and chill and have some of the best food ever. The food is unbelievable, as mentioned I’ve been coming here before but never managed to take a few minutes out of my day to actually review it. Worth the 40min drive every time and hopefully they can expand! Every credit 👏🏼👏🏼

THE BEST veggie burger iv ever had!! Attended with my teenage step daughter who wanted to come and I reluctantly agreed as meat free burgers usually pants!! Excellent service, really good value for money and unbelievably tasty burgers! Circa 2010s playlist topped it off tbh! Definitely be back!

Incredibly friendly staff, seemed like a very laid back place. We took advantage of the lunchtime offer, managing to get a burger, fries, and a drink for £6! Bargain considering the locale of restaurants in the area (looking at you Iceburg). The quality was beyond reproach. The burger was built with meticulous craftsmanship, with a taste to match. Absolutely delicious. The crunch of the pickle paired perfectly with the fresh, high quality meat patty - smothered with a perfectly melted cheese, and topped with a beautiful sesame seed bun. It was accompanied by a large portion of chips, coated with the most addictive seasoning known to man. All with a glass of Fanta - a perfect finish. As for the atmosphere, whether you agree with some of the messaging on the walls or not - it is certainly unique. Downstairs is a games room which is a pretty cool addition. Mainly retro, some modern. Perfect way to relax whilst waiting for or after your meal. For £6 total, I'll definitely be back (I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu). If you're looking for a good quality meal without the extortionate prices, this is a definite go-to. Knowing this place exists, I'll never step foot in a McDonald's again.

Hands down the best burger and chips money can buy, nothing comes close. Can seem costly to some but is worth every penny. When I'm there I am in heaven. By far the best place in Preston to eat. The passion fruit cocktail is good too. I also love the games we can play downstairs

Came here after antenatal class, as a hangry pregnant lady. Omg, I left so happy. The food is incredible, tastes SO fresh! I didn't leave a scrap. Great staff, amazing food, and enjoyed the atmosphere. 10/10.

I can’t express how disappointing this place was. I’ve eaten in hundreds of burger bars in my time and none have been as bad as this. The place itself was incredibly loud, rowdy and full of food and bottles that no one had taken away, the food itself came burnt, super salty, and all components were missing, it was literally a burger, some lettuce, burnt onions and a burnt bun. The chips tasted like cheap chip seasoning. The sides never did come and we were refunded for them, they had almost no soft drinks in stock - we asked for 5 different drinks (apple juice, orange juice etc) and ended up with water. In the end after a few bites of the burger I walked out. Kids were running around knocking stuff off tables, my shopping bags ended up knocked over etc. When staff were asked questions they disappeared for 10 minutes until having to go and find them. The worst place I’ve tried in Preston - my advice to anyone would be don’t part with your hard earned cash.

Never leave reviews but I've been here quite a few times and I've loved it every time. Even brought my dad for his birthday 🤣 such a great viarity of tasty food and the games are super fun!! Staff are all super friendly and I love how they aren't scared to call out annoying customers. Keep up the great work

Absolutely fantastic £8 burger meal offer would be £7 but upgraded to have a budweieser for £1. Fantastic bar and great to play on the games consoles downstairs. Only Downside is the retro games barrel needs buttons fixing.

First time here with my son who is a big fan. Had the halloumi burger which was fab, served with sauce and lovely chips. Best burger I’ve had. Chilled wine and unusual beers, upstairs looked great but was all full so we ate downstairs, a bit warm but great quirky atmosphere. Staff very friendly and efficient. Definitely worth a visit.

Top notch burgers. Atmosphere is low key, music is great, burgers are fantastic. Been half a dozen times and always been impressed with the food. Staff are great. Weekends can be busy, but they always do their best to accommodate people. Would definitely recommend if you haven't visited before!
