Wonderful food here. Chips are lovely and food to a really good standard. We always try and pass here when we are away. Only slight thing is that a portion of chips are fewer in quantity than my local chip shop. Excellent overall

The wait can be a little long if you just turn up, but I'll wait any amount of time to grab a chippy at 9pm! Far later opening than everyone else. I recommend putting an order in before setting off.

I have given 1 star for the staff, as i thought they were friendly, but it turns out after leaving an honest review they seem to be as awful as their food...i asked for a portion of char siu, not a lump and a general enquiry on the ribs was are they lightly battered not just deep fried with salt and pepper thrown on them.....im not questioning where the potatoes are sourced or even if theyre frozen, im saying the chips were under cooked pale and pitiful... noodles, mediocre....sweet and sour chicken was just OK and the salt and pepper ribs, well my husband ate one and the rest went in the bin. The response from said take away speaks volumes on their customer service. I can assure you we will most definitely not go again!! ☹️

Shocking if wanting Chinese! Potion sizes tiny, £4.30 for prawn toast which is under done and only get 4 tiny pieces. Salt and pepper chips £3.70 for a extremely small portion again. £23 spent. Would not recommend at all!

You really can't get a better Chinese takeaway with amazing food (both chinese and English 'chippy') with brilliant service given by a brilliant and helpful family. You will never go elsewhere once tasted.

Fantastic food great staff great value

I'd read good reviews for this place on TripAdvisor, so we decided to make a twelve miles round trip from Longridge to Barton....it was worth it. Sweet and sour Pork and chicken with pineapple (Phil) were proper tasty. My other half did say that the ratio of chicken/pineapple was lacking on the chicken but overall very good. My sweet and sour pork though was the best I've tasted. None of that day-glo orange ubiquitous sauce here. Glad we went it was super delicious.

Very good food at barton fish chips take away

It's great as they do limited gluten free options. It's a shame their tomato sauce has wheat in it otherwise it would open up sweet and sour and tomato dishes to the coeliacs out there. I had the chilli chicken starter and the lemon chicken main. I have a bottle of gf soy sauce at home which I add a little of to their gf fried rice.

The fish and chips here were spot on. I haven't been to a takeaway that does fish and chips and Chinese so didn't know what to expect but the fish and chips were the best I've had in a while.

We love this place so much we have been going most weekends for the past 23 years! We moved about 12 miles away and still do the 24 mile around trip just to get food from here . Hands down the best Chinese I've ever eaten from Excellent food, excellent service and amazing staff. The head chef sucks at fishing though 😂👀

Popped in on way back from caravan it was very busy obviously good food unfortunatley my 2 pies had been warmed in the microwave hubby was ok with his but i was not happy you cannot beat Hollands pies that have been warmed up properly
