The best restaurants in North West

Absolutely superb venue/restaurant. Great atmosphere, excellent quality food, very friendly staff. The pizzas are amazing!!

The Yan recently hosted us for a photoshoot for Go Outdoors, the team were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and patient with us with all our crew and vehicles. The setting of The Yan is stunning, you feel immersed in nature, but also close to Grasmere and Ambleside for exploring. The catering which the team provided was wonderful also. Thank you so much to the team at The Yan.

I was a regular customer at their old location on Chapel street, but I love the more space and the beautiful architecture of their new spot at Islington Mill. Really nice vegan products, good coffee, it's a place I come to often after running park run at Peel Park

Smashing place in cheadle. Friendly welcome and great service. Food was spot on.The chef is ex-dishoom and it shows, good recomendation for the food .Thank u for the lovely evening will definitely be back.Hight recommended.

Went to Lorenzos for my birthday (20/12/2023) It was FABULOUS the food was 5 star, service surroundings spot on. Definitely going back. Well well worth a visit 10/10

I have tried shish kebab, which was ok but a bit small portions compared to other kebab places.

Mixed review here as I love it but it’s a very old pub experience . I understand other points of view as it isn’t exactly everyone’s cup of tea yet I would like to point out that this timeless gem is so wrong it’s actually right. In New York they call these dive bars, in an affectionate way. If this place got new furniture and a lick of paint I think it would actually ruin it. So. To finish. It’s a must go to place. Then you decide. As I said. I love it.

Dog friendly, both rooms and restaurant! Been visiting here for thirty-odd years and the new owners now let dogs come inside with their owners, great atmosphere, good food and the staff are great. The Masons at Strawberry Bank has always been a good pub, the dog friendly attitude makes it even better! Breakfast is fantastic if you are an overnight guest and the rooms are quirky with great views!

I love Turkish food so it is a massive disappointment for me that I will not dine at this restaurant again. The food was not the traditional Turkish food I was hoping for ( I’ve been married to a Turk for 10 years so I know what I’m talking about) I started to wander if the cook is even Turkish? There was a group of 12 who were REALLY loud , we could not hear ourselves nor the music playing . Very annoying, we thought that this group could have been seated upstairs away from everyone else, so that we could all enjoy our evening. The staff were lovely and professional but overall huge disappointment. Will not go again nor do I recommend.
