Been tonight lovely service, amazing food what more can you ask for. Treated my 1 year old so well, she loved it even though she was a bit crazy we will be returning ❤️

Can’t comment on the atmosphere but, if it’s anything on the level of the food and delivery service it’ll be nothing short of sublime! Shoutout to Teg, the chef, who cooks up some lovely dishes!

Tried this place for the 1st time tonight as a couple on a date night. Food is faultless, amazing lamb rogan josh. The best peshwari nan bread iv ever had. The only problem we had was the family on the next table had a small child with them playing with a mobile phone with nursery rhymes on full blast for the full duration of the meal. It was anything but a relaxing date night. We made staff aware of the issue but nothing was done about it. They did apologise as we left the restaurant but I'd of liked for the staff to at least ask them to turn it down slightly.

I Found The Portions Small For The Price. The Masala Sauce Tasted Like A Tomato Sauce. Korma Was Bland. Nice Chunks Of Chicken. Onion Bajis Were Spot On It Was Cold On Arrival Unfortunately

We can’t fault a single thing in this restaurant. They are always welcoming with beautiful smiles. All the staff members are amazing, listens to your request and serves the best. I am a big foodie. If you really a fan of Indian food, I can guarantee they are the only one serving the authentic Indian dishes in the area. Their cook Mr Santosh has a skill to improvise any dish as per your taste buds keeping the authenticity of the recipes. Prerit as a Captain on the floor, Subin in the bar(with his 🍹 cocktails) are few of the gems they have. Top of all many thanks to Rahul and Sonu to bringing the real taste of India close to us. Best Indian we have been too in ages. First time visiting tonight and we will now not go anywhere else. This will definitely be our new Indian. Best food we’ve had at an Indian. Lovely staff. It was lovely. Everything tasted great and it arrived on time and hot. Only down fall was the chips... But I suppose everyone is different. Definitely order from here again though

The actual restaurant looks beautiful, the decoration and the colours chosen for this venue are really nice. Food is delicious and the staff are always very helpful. The presentation of the food is always top-notch. I have been here a few times and it was always nice, but this last time there were Diwali celebrations so the place looked very festive and they had live Indian music, which was really lovely and entertaining. Most of the people in the restaurant were dancing and enjoying themselves. I would recommend to book in advance to avoid disappointment as the place is quite packed all the time.

I recently dined at Sigdi. The service at Sigdi was friendly and attentive. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The food was delicious. We ordered vegetable biryani and veg momos, it was very flavorful. I strongly recommend these orders. The ambiance at Sigdi was cozy, vibrant, and lively. The decoration was traditional and bright. The atmosphere definitely made the experience more comfortable and enjoyable. We’ve just been for a family meal and it was absolutely delicious. In fact, we’ve all said it’s the best food we’ve had in a long time. Nothing was greasy and everything was full of flavour. Even the fussy kids ate their butter chicken. Catering for 13 of us all who has different tastes and requests seemed like a piece of cake to the staff. They were accommodating and polite throughout the whole service. If I could rate it 6 stars I would. Thank you for a fantastic evening, we’ll all definitely be back.

It was a double delight as there was a Magic Show on the Diwali eve. Superb food (loved the tasting menu!), charming hosts and a friendly atmosphere. The food was authentic Indian in taste. One could sense aroma of each and every herb and spice. This will be a regular venue!

Went for my daughters 21st birthday celebration. The food was wow! Everyone got hot food at the same time ! (16 people). The staff were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Amazing , thank you Sigdi , you nailed it !!!

We frequently eat take away meals from this delightful Indian at Astley Point. We sometimes dine in too, and whilst the experiences are different, they are both 5 star. The menu is extensive and whilst most Indian Restaurant menus are similar, the flavour and cooking styles often differ, and the chefs excel in real depth of flavour, we have never had a duff meal, nor lower quality tasting meats. Eating in is a real treat, and some meals on the menu are much better fresh, we particularly like the Samosa Tikka Chat and the Chicken Lollipop, best eaten in. Service and quality in equal measure, the staff treat you like kings. A lovely chilled atmosphere too.

The service was good and both women were on the ball. When asking for drinks though we asked for soda water which was brought in a pint glass, I don’t know who drinks pints of soda water! especially at a cost of £2.95! My mango lasso was ok. Not as thick as other places but it was ok. I ordered the Lamb Korma, it wasn’t like normal korma i.e. coconut taste this tasted more of cloves. Not to my liking at all. There wasn’t much lamb meat in the dish too. Lamb Balti was lacking in taste too, not like the balti taste you are used to. Maybe the chef is from a different part of India where things are done differently???!!??? Garlic nan is more like a garlic pita. Thin and crispy, rather than fat and fluffy. Rice portions are small. Overall, this isn’t in my best 100 Indians. Not sure I would go out of my way and eat here again, but I’m still glad I tried.

Had my first and sadly last meal at the Sigdi tonight, I was looking forward to a meal at my local restaurant, we have recently moved to the area, just a five minute walk from home. I had a Jalfresi curry, I’ve had many from various restaurants and takeaway houses, this was sadly very poor , extremely sweet, all I could taste was sugar, my wife had what was supposed to be Bhuna, no taste other than sugar, extremely disappointed, I apologised to my wife for the poor experience, this was our anniversary meal. Service was very slow, then when we received the bill there was a 10% service charge. Definitely not going back

We travelled 10 miles or so to visit and well worth the trip. Very impressed, such a great dining experience .

I recently celebrated my mum’s birthday at SIGDI and it was an amazing experience as always.. the staff is so warm and welcoming always there with a smile. The food has always been great, with wide menu options… I am especially thankful that they made sure my mum was treated special on her day, which is the icing on the cake.. I would highly recommend this place to get some fab Indian curry meal with family and friends.

One of Greater Manchester's best Indian restaurants! I came here with colleagues and I was really surprised by how good the food is here. Half of us were vegan and we were extensively catered for. The food is all really high quality and leagues above a lot of other curry houses. The service is also excellent! Will return when next in the area.

On my visit to Astley, Manchester, I visited Sigdi Indian/Nepali Restaurant with my family. Staffs were so kind. We were greeted with the warmest smile. The decor is a delightful mix of traditional Nepali charm and a modern flair, making you feel that you've just walked into a cozy mountain lodge with wi-fi. The food was amazing. The momos were so good. Each bite was like a little parcel bursting with flavor that makes your taste-buds sing! Crispy baby corn, chili paneer, and chili garlic prawns were equally awesome. In the main-course, goan-fish curry, chicken kadhai, and garlic naan were unforgettable. Sigdi Indian restaurant is not just a place to eat, it's an experience. I would certainly visit next time.

When I reached out to Rahul, the manager, to celebrate my father-in-law’s 80th birthday, he went above and beyond to ensure our party for 20 guests was unforgettable. He expertly helped us craft a set menu that catered to everyone's dietary needs, including young children, and generously added special touches that made the evening unique. Rahul even created bespoke menus for our celebration, adding a personalised flair. The Sigdi team took care of decorating the space, a huge relief for me as a disabled person, and Rahul personally picked up the cake I ordered, maintaining the surprise for my father-in-law. On the night of the event, Rahul assured me that he and his dedicated staff would handle everything—and they truly did. Even the chef came out to greet us; a lovely gesture. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food delicious and beautifully presented, and the cocktails were delightful. Rahul’s passion for his work and confidence in his team shone through every detail, from our initial discussions to the flawless execution of the event. The food was above average, came luke warm, Service was by far the worse I’ve ever experienced by a long margin! For a table of 7. staff were rude, don’t ask for anything as you will not get it on the fourth time of asking. not one smile on their faces and everything was rushed. Will not be returning.

Everything tasted amazing, best curries we have had in a while. They forgot one of our mushroom rices, but I was immediately reimbursed. Only other issue was the poppadoms were all crushed, they still tasted great though. Despite this the curries made this 5*

Second time I’ve ordered from sigdi. Really impressed i would recommend their saag aloo it is the best I’ve ever tasted. Everything has great taste. It will be my go to now.

Genuinely one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to. We always try and bring any guest we have here. Genuinely great. You can even order a few off menu India dishes if you have a favourite.

Cannot rate this high enough. Normally only go to another Indian in Lowton but decided to try here for a change and so glad we did. Service was fantastic amd food was incredible and best I've had. Chicken lollipops are a MUST

Recently been on restaurant and celebrated little princess birthday with frens n family. As always everything was of top standard. Food was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended chicken lollipop, garlic naan and butter chicken. Excellent food by chef, great services by waiters and felt very welcome by beautiful girl in reception. The waiters were really nice. The manager always came and checked up on us to make sure we were enjoying our food with no problems. The food was amazing and was served with efficiency when ordered.

The rice, nan bread, onion bhaji and curry were barely warm and had to go in the microwave. The onion bhajis, one of them was so burnt and hard it wasn't even edible, even the salad wasn't fresh. For the price you don't get much at all, 2 small onion bhajis, nan bread was small and like something you get from a supermarket packet, the curry although it was fairly tasty, there isn't much of it at all, comes in one of those small plastic tubs. Overall, very disappointing. Won't order again!!
