Yøt Cafe & Shop in Wirral

A lovely,quirky place in a glorious setting. The food is well prepared and generously served. We were so impressed by the friendly staff who whilst busy, had time for a quick chat. p.s. probably the most dog friendly establishment I've ever been to !

Warm welcome, the breakfast bagel was delicious & substantial. Coffee was lovely. Beautiful surroundings, clean & tidy. I will definitely be back to try some of the delicious looking cakes

What a beautiful piece of heaven. My friends surprised me with a trip here. Stunning little location, tucked away. Gardens are beautiful, birds where singing, sun was shining, atmosphere was magical. We sat at No.11. Food was amazing, I chose 3 cheese on toast on solar bread, I was not expecting 2 loaded slices , very good portion size, fabulous coffee, house blend. All homemade food and cakes , definitely going to have the lemon and poppy seed next time. Family run, staff were super welcoming , dog friendly (on leads) , just a stunning little gem. Thank you for a beautiful experience.

I love this little piece of heaven. I went today with friends for the second time. The staff are so welcoming that makes you feel right at home. The food is amazing, no small portions here! I had the 3 cheese on sourdough and The lemon and poppy cake. (looking forward to my promised cake) 😏 I cannot fault this place, it's a real hidden gem. Such a lovely vibe, I could quite happily sit there all day listening to the birds. It's a 10/10 from me ♥️

They brought use the wrong items and then brought us the right food, and the portion size was horrendous, not worth the money. And there was no offer to see if we needed high chairs, plus there was white leaves blowing everywhere and kids were picking them up and letting them go and it nearly went all over the food. And there wasn't much room for my pram too. I wouldn't be going again I don't see what the hype is tbh

Absolutely brilliant little find! Food was amazing, brilliantly presented, fresh and tasted amazing. Lovely staff and it was lovely to sit outside. The garden is a sun trap, but plenty of umbrellas and huts to take cover in the shade. Would highly recommend this cafe. Plenty of parking over the road as well.

The Yot Cafe is a great pit stop or destination when exploring the Wirral Way and coastal path. Good coffee and great food. We (a family of four) all really enjoyed our lunch. Would definitely visit again.

As a local, having YOT on our doorstep is wonderful. YOT is a firm favourite with locals, walkers and cyclists alike. YOT serves excellent coffees, freshly made, ever so tasty cakes and perfect brunch themed menu options. Vegetarian, Vegan, gluten and lactose challenges are all accommodated. While we’re not familiar with all the nice people that work at YOT, Georgia and Lucy who have served us for a good while now are always on hand to provide excellent, friendly and professional “service with that extra smile”. We highly recommend YOT to everyone.

First visit to this lovely little cafe which is in a really peaceful setting. All the seating is outside, but under cover, so it's a nice place to go whatever the weather. All the food is fresh and prepared in a very clean kitchen. My husband had cheese on sourdough toast, I had a toasted mozzarella, pesto and tomato ciabatta. Both were fresh, hot and very tasty. The pot of tea had enough teabags in to make a nice brew, it definitely wasn't like hot water. The staff are very helpful and friendly.The service is quick. It's a lovely place for a rest, coffee and cake if you're on the coastal walk or even a short walk. I definitely recommend this little gem.

Quiet little corner of the Wirral with good walks starting from here. Good coffee and cakes with a wide range to choose from. Slightly more substantial savoury snacks and light lunches are also available. The staff are friendly and the service is good. The garden is lovely on a nice day with little booths to sit in to keep you warm. Very charming place.

Close to the Wirral Valley Way and the Dee estuary shore. Excellent coffee and good quality snacks . Seating is outside but mostly under cover. Good place to visit if you are walking in the area.

What a wonderful cafe. Brilliant atmosphere with outdoor seating and lovely staff. Had a luxury hot chocolate drink. Perhaps a few more GF treats.Cannot fault other than that. Thankyou.

The setting is really lovely and is set up for outdoor seating in all weathers. I used to visit regularly but was disappointed with food served, had sausage ciabbata and in the past it was served with lovely side salad and coleslaw but not anymore felt it was very over priced ☹️

My favourite place for coffee and cake when out on the bike. Carrot cake is the best I can remember and the coffee is very good. The staff are friendly and attentive and they have nice local gifts and artisan bread for sale. 👌

Great food with plenty of veggie options and good coffee. The staff are exceptionally friendly and the seating area is in a pleasant situation. Just gets REALLY busy with the Wirral Way walkers and their dogs etc so be prepared to wait! Station road down to the cafe now gets very busy and is plagued by inconsistent parking.

Stopped here whilst cycling the Wirral Way, (slight detour down to Yot). Friendly staff, great cakes, nice garden and coffee.. thanks!

Lovely little cafe! We always pop in on walks down to Heswall shore / Heswall beach. Top notch coffee and cakes. Also sells local produce such as Heswall honey. Due to close for winter soon (mid Nov 22), until spring. Look forward to many more visits in 2023!!

An accidental find - three of us out walking just happened upon this delightful gem. Having been walking the Wirral Way for two hours, we were delighted to come across this delight venue. Beautiful and private, the garden’s covered, portable booths and sheltered tables dotted around the roomy outdoor space were complemented by beautifully lit spots at the darker end of the area with a covered, enclosed, further eating area. The service was faultless. We had hot drinks and and a variety of warm, filled ciabattas that were delicious. The interior was spotless and the staff so pleasant. It was a wonderful experience and a superb place for us to refuel ourselves for the return walk home to Meols! We spoke with the lady owner as we left. What a delightful story she had as to how the business came to be. But you can ask her all about that when you visit! Mad if you don’t! Highly recommended. Next time, I’ll take the wife. And the dog - it’s dog friendly, too!

Well with a visit. A lovely little Gem nestled neatly in a pretty location away from it all. Great place to pick up a lovely coffee or tea offering a light menu of delicious home cooked food. Service is good and attentive. Peaceful welcoming and chilled vibe.

Great place & staff. Just didn't think the ciabatas worked for the sausage / bacon sarnies. Too big & mine was too hard. Woukd prefer a choice of soft rolls & bread. Definately be back though m!

One of my favourite little stop off points along the wirral cycle trail. I had a gorgeous latte made with oat milk and a ham and mozzarella croissant. It came with salad and coleslaw and beautifully presented. The staff will all very friendly and welcoming. Overall, a really nice experience and the food was delicious will definitely be back.

What a hidden gem, dog & bike friendly, beautiful tables & seating inside & out. Wonderful food for all palates. The Vegan Roll was fantastic & delicious, everything is home-baked, such a delight. Very friendly & helpful staff. Bike shelter provided, dog water bowls & snacks provided! We will definitely visit again when in the area.Thank you Yøt Cafe for the most delicious lunch.

We came across this little gem on our walk and we were not disappointed at all. It was such a lovely day to be able to sit outside in the sunshine. There is so much food to choose from and I was very impressed they did Gluten Free options. The food was delicious. The tables were cleaned as soon as people left and the toilets were extremely clean too. You have the option of taking cakes home which we did and they were a lovely treat after our walk home. We would definitely recommend stopping by here. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning.

Great location, dog friendly staff, a lovely idea that's it's been a pleasure to see come to fruition. Definitely pop in if you're down that way.

Missing a star for the high price of the coffee and shocking price of cakes, these discomfitures felt less onerous once settled into the genuinely lovely outdoor environment. With a canopied seat in a perspex rain-protected yard with shrub border, a rather lovely time was spent on a beautiful spring afternoon, as I note that this place might be just as lovely on a rainy summers day. Expect to pay more, but still have a good time.

Perfect stop off when cycling the Wirral circular

Well run business down by the River Dee. It is also just of the coastal footpath .

Visited Yot Cafe for the first time on the recommendation from a friend. Upon arrival the place is situated in a really lovely coastal area. The River Dee estuary is just at the bottom of the road. The atmosphere was really relaxed and the staff really helpful and attentive. The menu is limited however everything is freshly made and very tasty and prices are reasonable. The seating area is lovely especially if the sun 🌞 is out. I'd highly recommend this Cafe if you're in the Heswall area and fancy a bite to eat before a walk. 🚶‍♂️ 🚶‍♀️ . The place is child and dog 🐕 friendly and there are also toilets 🚻 . Definitely will visit again during the summer 👍🏻🍽

I love this coffee shop! I always come here for coffee and a cake as there is a ton of vegan options and the service is wonderful :) There are lots of lovely places to sit, and the coffee is delicious

Great stop off just 2 minutes off the Wirral Way. Plenty of fresh 'home made' style food choices, Crosby Coffee, teas, flavoured ice creams, plus paninis jacket spuds etc. Toilet deserves a mention as it was impeccably clean with fresh flowers!

Called by for some brunch with friends. Three of us had bacon frittata with salad and brown bread and one of had Cumberland sausage with caramelised onion ciabatta. Very tasty food, coffee and tea. Very efficient and friendly service. The weather was a bit miserable and we took shelter in the summer house. Very enjoyable couple of hours
