Probably the best cafe i have ever been too the staff are brilliant super friendly and welcoming lynsey & i think its kirsty not sure but they are the best i stumbled on this cafe with my son as i was working in the area what a gem. we have since travelled from liverpool back over there again its that good beautiful food very reasonably priced and plenty for your money. Absolutely gorgeous slimming world friendly breakfast

This place has a nice atmosphere. Lovely place to relax on a warm afternoon. We were the only ones in. I got a potato, on the menu it comes with coleslaw and that was left off, which is a shame. It was very nice otherwise.

Mmmm French Bread served with a Bowl of Scouse and Beetroot. Mmmmmm. Staff are all so Brill and friendly. Parking down the sidesteps is free and very near. Prices are amazing too. Quite an extensive Menu of choices. Well pleased. Thankyouuuuu Guys👏👏

I went here Saturday morning for a breakfast with my cousin. It Was busy, but luckily, we just nabbed the last table. We both ordered the slimming world breakfast 😋 it was delicious and piping hot. Would highly recommend

I had heard about the amazing take away picnics and party foods prepared by JakeyJays, so I rand and ordered one for the two of us for our train journey to London, it was fabulous, beautifully fresh and full of sandwiches, pies, dips, salads, fruits, sweets, cakes, and scones with napkins. A great option, well packed with no plastics, highly recommended

**** GREAT BREAKFAST **** After a little research, looking for a breakfast, Jakeyjays Cafe popped up with 5 star ratings. I went with a few people to try it out and wow!!! Portion size was huge and the quality of the breakfast was excellent. The sausages were delicious and really made a great morning feast!! The ladies were lovely and very welcoming. Thank you so much!!! Definitely worth a visit :-)

Absolutely outstanding food and extremely diet friendly definitely the place to go for a breakfast but the only thing is I wish they would use is bigger plates. the food is always clumped together the presentation is a little lacking but can't go wrong with what they offer well worth a visit

I can’t rate this place highly enough! I'd heard so much about this cafe on facebook and walked past it loads of times but I've always been on my own so I never stopped. Today I was walking back from town, on my own again (I have got mates honestly) and I was craving a cooked breakfast so I thought I'd give it a try. The staff were lovely and welcoming and the food was fantastic. £5 for a full breakfast with toast and coffee is an absolute bargain. Made to feel welcome, lovely clean eating area, amazing food (couldn’t help but nose at other people’s orders as they went passed!) and really good value. Will definately be going back to sample the rest of the menu!

They do amazing food for parties. If anyone wants a party planning. They do chairs tables an fab food. Oh an all you slimming world girls. They also do fab food ready prepped so you can eat as much as you like an they cook it all for you. Jobs a guddun i think.well done Jakeys. Would highly recommend. 10 outa 10. Keep goin guys

Always a warm welcome. Good food menu, especially if you after a full English. They have different size breakfasts, even having a slimmer one. Very clean and so is the bathroom area.

Meet a friend for a coffee and a sandwich and this place is fantastic quirky place with friendly staff and great food the club sandwich is highly recommended

Visited while doing a charity ride round Britain. The food was great but the staff were outstanding. Friendly, helpful and more than generous. A real pleasure to have visited.

Worst experience of my life... honestly actually embarrassed to say the least the term springs to mind... getting what you pay for I ordered a jacket potato which was average I’m not a fussy eater.. my son who is 3 chips looked fine till I came to eat my salad, I eat a health diet and seeing brown lettuce was a huge turn off. The person I am just said think you need to change your salad and was willing to ignore that but when it came to finding a huge black hair in my sons chips knocked me sick. A three year old not understanding why he couldn’t eat his chips was the part which got me annoyed, they asked if I wanted a refund the way I felt I just wanted to get out I was so embarrassed I have never been to a worse cafe ever 😂😂 Working in retail myself I also thought to staff could do with cracking a smile 👍🏻 Unsure if I went on a bad day from the reviews 🤮

I cannot get enough of this place. Spotlessly clean and insanely good value for money, you get service with a smile and tonnes of simple, tasty food for a fraction of the price of places in Oxton Village. The staff are absolutely lovely.

We decided to call into this cafe after shopping in Birkenhead. We were not disappointed the food was plentiful and very filling. My partner had the largest breakfast and could not finish it and at £6.00 it was a bargain. I had the small breakfast and I kept finding bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, black pudding etc every time I turned something over on my plate it would of filled my husband who is a big eater at only £4.00. Toast, tea and coffee included plus excellent customer service. Give it a go.

The food is really good; it is freshly cooked, tasty and plentiful. There is plenty of choice, including Slimmers Breakfasts and the value for money cannot be beaten. The staff are very friendly and the premises are spotlessly clean.

One of my favourite cafes. Go here once a week for my regular breakfast. Staff always lobell and Bernie's cooks the best food. Not greasy or over cooked. Just perfect

Superb Breakfasts and friendly staff. I always go for the big breakfast and it is amazing, the wife goes for the Healthier options and loves the meals they do there. My boys love the food here as well, always a thumbs up from them

Spot on Breackfasts an really friendly staff

My son has been on a few occasions so I felt the need to report as he doesn't comment on much! He said their bacon butties/toast of various varieties, ie. with egg/sausage etc.,were "well nice". A definite compliment. Girls really friendly and not waiting around for ages.

First time visiting here and it was delicious! Will definitely be back.

Nice place for a good breakfast

Can't keep away been there the last 2 days and my god awesome value for money and the food is delicious and freshly cooked. Highly recommend the jacket potatoes, good portion size and sides are all included. Looking forward to trying the breakfasts :)

A great cafe with a suprisingly extensive range, all well cooked and served, meals for slimmers, children and everyone inbetween.

Food is great, service is great, always lay out the tables for us with Christmas attire, prices are reasonable the cafe is always clean and tidy. Only one negative is parking but its only a ten minute walk from the pyramids shopping centre thanks again see you in 2016

i had a 10 item breakfast and very satificating with a limit budget. i had 2 sausages, 2 black pudding, 2 hash browns, mushrooms, toms, beans, a fried egg, toast and a coffee

really great staff who you can have a laugh with which creates a brilliant atmosphere, the food is really tasty and they do a slimmers range as well, which is great for anyone wanting to lose weight. The café is clean and spacious, and the toilets have baby changing facilities.

Great staff, great food, spacious, clean. Breakfasts are available in a variety of options from bread rolls, sandwiches to 'bin lids' or more traditionally on a plate. Difficult to fault, my only criticism as a ketchup conniseur would be use Heinz ketchup not something dressed up in a heinz bottle.
