I was taken to this restaurant by my family for a birthday treat. The place is very modern with nice decor. It has a large bar area with tables in the main area. There are other rooms off the main area and we were seated in one of these. The place had been recommended to us be a member of the family. The one thing that struck us as we approached the entrance was the noise. It really was so loud. The room we were in was a smaller area. However it didn't make any difference, the noise was so loud that it made it difficult to have a conversation. The waiter came and took our order. We had a shared starter and dinner. As a vegetarian I have to say it was very imaginative and a good choice. I had beetroot and goats cheese encroute. It was absolutely delicious. My son had steak and my daughter in law had lamb. Every one said how great the food was. The service was very good. Staff were friendly, attentive and informative. I would have given this place 5 stars if it had not been for the noise. My daughter in law said it was such a shame about the noise. She would not go again due to it. I don't know if there is anything they can do to make it quieter. It is such a shame that we won't get to go there again as a result of it.

This was my 1st time visiting and it was to celebrate my 50th birthday and how dissatisfied was I. We booked a table of 13, had to all pay a deposit and when we arrived, our table that we had booked, was still occupied with another party even though our table was booked for 6.30. We were told they wouldn't be many minutes and the party would leave snd they would clear the table ready for us. My eldest sister was really annoyed as she arrived early to decorate the table with banners and balloons before I arrived but couldn't do thus due to them not having our table ready. My family stood waiting and the previous party still never moved so we were then told to go to another table which wasn't set up for a large party and there was a separate table of 4 shoved near by meaning our family were not even together. It then took them till 8pm to even take our drinks and food orders, meaning it was too late for my father to eat due to health conditions, this was not acceptable and mid week when everyone is working turned into a very late night. We finally got our food nearly an hour later, we ordered desserts and finally got them 30 mins later, we were trying to find staff to bring my birthday cake, which they lost and after asking 4 different members of staff we eventually at gone 10pm got my cake. By then the children with us were rartty, the elderly were falling asleep and I as a chef was utterly disappointed by the service or lack of. It took over half an hr of us going up to the bar to finally get coffees as no one asked us so all in all this whole experience spoiled my 50th birthday and I won't be recommending it or returning unless the service and who experience is reticfied!

We recently had the pleasure of visiting The Broughton for Sunday lunch the restaurant is situated just outside Betley Village a lovely part of Cheshire. Excellent food with terrific selection very tasty also the staff and service were very attentive and friendly and efficient . Certainly very good value for money and a lovely situation with decor well worth A visit you will not be disappointed

The service from Jane was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for her. Our food was served on time along with all the drinks we ordered.

Excellent food, well looked after by Jade. Would definitely recommend the cocktails. Will come again. Despite being busy did not have to wait.
