Caffe Nero in Cheshire East

Absolute chaos when being served, asked for Caramel Latte, no caramel in coffee and constant barking of dogs. Will not be back

Not cheap, the coffee was good though.

Great customer service and great food

All round okay experience. HOWEVER, when I went to use the bathroom I was severely displeased. There was what I assumed to be discreation on the floor, the pipes looked mouldy , it didn’t smell good and for it apparently being cleaned 3 times that day already I wasn’t pleased. Toilet also wasn’t very good to flush. Please improve.

Always busy, so it's hard to get a table, but worth it when you do.

Coffee is good and that’s all that keeps me coming back. The coffee shop itself is tired and in need of a good clean. It’s even dirty when it’s just opened.

Only popped in for a drink after a friend recommended a cafe nero and this was my closest, staff were very friendly and the store had a busy atmosphere, will definately return in the future

Love this cafe,lovely coffee and cakes and friendly staff. We visit almost everyday for coffee and cakes and there are a,lot of returning customers. Lovely to see tge doggie visitors too

Like our local Nero, a little disappointed with the cake on our last visit. Served a smaller slice, which was also dry. Otherwise, good choice of drinks & friendly staff.

We go in 3/4 times a week. Very clean and a very busy coffee shop The staff are mostly friendly, apart from one, she never smiles, barely communicates , unless it's someone she knows! It's very off putting especially as the coffee is expensive and a friendly smile should cost nothing. It's like it's a chore to be friendly

Early Sunday morning is nice and quiet - one of the few places open in Nantwich this early on a Sunday

Nero is my favourite coffee of the big 3 chains. The staff here are all friendly and the coffee and hot food are good (bacon sandwich is great). The porridge was ok but I wouldn't get that again.

Great place to visit. Allow dogs too of you have a fur baby. Staff are prefect at making you feel welcome. Visit here at least twice a month. Wish it was more!

Cafe neros have always been a nice place for coffee and cake.

Staff with attitude….not sure if there’s a staff problem here, but when I get to be served at the counter I did not expect a gruff “ What do you want?” Followed by a stare as if I was doing them a favour. I have had better service in many “greasy spoons”. I would not expect this of Caffè Nero. I will not go back there again. Staff training required.

No consideration for hotel guests. Absolutely NO NEED to play music so loud and so early. GIVE IT A REST AND WAIT UNTIL A BETTER TIME OF DAY!!!!

Like the coffee but cannot cope with the dogs. Suffered a really bad allergic reaction after my visit today. It cannot be hygienic.

They were short of staff. So, no cups. So, hot drinks were in takeaway cups.

Never received my food they said I could have an item substitute but I never received either. First time using now never using again. Awful service said they couldn't do anything.

Very calming, vibey atmosphere lol, good place to hang out with fam or friends or do some school work or job work 👍 The foods nice aswell not pricey. Its nice to have a cup of coffee or tea whilst doing work, the lights are dim people are doing their own thing and the seatings comfortable so would recommend. Not too many places like this in Crewe and Nantwich, nice for brunch 👍

Always enjoy the coffees at Nero's. I have marked atmosphere down to 3star because I think the cafe would benefit a refurb. I have visited a few Nero coffee shops and they all seem to suffer the slightly unkempt 'tired' look which ISN'T designer.

Fabulous staff, great atmosphere. Food value for money very tasty. The tuna melt is gorgeous.

There is a particular member of staff in this store that lets the rest of the team down. She is so rude! Has absolutely no customer service skills, and makes you feel like she is doing you a favour! I have never seen her smile & I go in every week. Her barrista skills are also awful. I pray she does not serve me! You know who you are..very very rude! She is in the wrong job.

Nice place for a tea/coffee only thing I’d say needs a tidy up inside apart from that the staff are nice and by the looks of it the place has lots a returning customers all locals and people passing by Nantwich

Don't bother trying to redeem My Waitrose offer. The staff know nothing about it.

Quality of coffee is always excellent but what makes it extra special is the Cafe Nero Team. They are always positive, put the customer first, always smiling and help create that very special Cafe Nero atmosphere. Lastly, for me, the families, their children and often accompanied with their dogs add immensely to the overall “wowness” of Cafe Nero Nantwich

A decent enough coffee shop. Staff were friendly and there was plenty of seating when I went midweek. Coffee was nice enough too.

I have been coming in here for years staff usually really friendly and good customer service Today the member who served me had no clue of good customer service took my coffee back not put my hazelnut syrup in just said to another member of staff put some in never acknowledged me at all

Nero has the best coffee, staff very friendly and helpful... BUT.. This branch is really, really, really in need of a full overhaul. Paintwork and walls are chipped, old and looking grubby. Could do with shutting for a month and a full refurb done, sorry I love Nero but this place falls short.

Rude new staff employed can't be bothered with the basics of hello please and thank you. Anyone that was good has now left. Area manager needs to go visit and sort this mess out !!! Not the cleanest of cafés. Dirty toilets and been no brown sugar for two months it's really not hard to get some me petty cash and go buy !!!

Not sure if they were the manager (nearly closing time) but very brusque and unfriendly. Certainly negatively affects one's experience of this coffee shop.

Nice coffee but 45p extra for Oat Milk 🤔 you'll end up losing customers as they go to Costa and Starbucks who both offer free non-dairy alternatives

This is my favourite place to go for a coffee, the coffee is made perfectly. Staff are always lovely and friendly, coffee, cakes and savouries all gorgeous I'm always spoilt for choice, I dont ever go anywhere else.

10-minute wait; coffee was really strong and bitter; flavour of oat and raisin cookie was spoilt by overwhelming taste of baking powder. Only ate it because I'd paid for it but gave up on the coffee.

Normal Nero's. Was low on breakfast sandwiches today. Beware the sausage Babs. Not all are meat and it's in smaller writing.. thankfully the staff pointed it out to me.

I’ve visit here hundreds of times a year but the new barista is incredibly rude. Didn’t say please or thank you once. Snapped at me when I politely said I’d asked to sit in and I got a take away cup, and then when I showed her it was my free loyalty coffee she cancelled the transaction like it was a huge inconvenience. I felt totally unwelcome. I won’t go in again if she’s serving. Looking at these recent reviews I’m not the only customer who thinks the same.

If you can't deal with varied customer requirements DON'T WORK THERE!!!. I don't understand what some of the assistants believe they are going to be doing when they go for an interview at this place. Years ago it was great the staff were friendly, I think it was a guy called Ashley who used to manage it? I used to pop in before work, at lunch, meet friends, take outs but over the recent years it has become a shambles where you feel like you're a nuisance. Several times I have had bad service, so now I have done a review. If 1 person asks for take outs at lunch, and they want several cups, usually means they will need carrier cartons, they can't balance them up their arm, slapping the cartons empty on the counter with a "put them in yourself" isn't useful. Secondly here's something the staff clearly have not had training on, to ask for the cups to be marked isn't a fashion statement nor designed to hold you up, it will usually be a dietary, allergy or health requirement for the end user. This could be a customer with young children who has dietary specifics and asks for exactly what they need, be kind. Also listen to your customer, unfortunately I'm on a timed lunch break and I'm too busy filling up my own cartons, paying etc to check every bag of food you slap down, the number of times I've gone back to the office with incorrect food for some of the team is annoying. If you hate the job, leave, everyone has bad days, but at this branch they seem determined to make sure your experience is also.

Visited caffe nuro in nantwich with my 3 year old daughter as a treat for her and got served by an extremely rude young lady. No manners, rolled her eyes at me because she forgot my caramel in my latte and gave my daughter a cold babyccino. I was shocked by her customer service skills, no matter how much I emphasised my manners clearly for my daughter to see, not a single please or thank you in return and the attitude on her is what I don't want my daughter to see or think is okay. The poor older couple behind me had the same treatment. I can honestly say I will not be returning. Such a disappointment.

Queue very bad today poor staff rushed off there feet still managing to smile through it all . Come in here about 4 times a week staff changing all the time. Cafe needs a good clean.

Great coffee and it is dog friendly

Ordered a coffee to take out at the service bar.. £2.85 upfront.. Promptly paid and offered the change into the tips jar.. no thanks for that. The server started to make my drink then left the bar to serve some food to a table leaving me waiting.. not a problem. Another sever approached asking if i was being served.. "I hope so" I replied jovially.. She smiled and as I advised where my cup was waiting to be finished she asked how I intended to pay.. I have already paid, I advised. Her face changed completely to a look of disbelief and at looking at the register practically accused me of not having paid. This knocked me back somewhat and luckily a few seconds later my original server came back and I asked her to confirm to her colleague that I have paid.. Which, thankfully, she did.. I turned to the former and said "You can smile again now" and at that point I was admonished by a young man next to me for being "Rude".. Accused of not paying and I'm rude?!! The man pointed out that he worked there and my attitude was not welcome.. Absolutely disgraceful.. I'm 60 years old and the chances of me stealing a coffee and running away is nil. I should have asked for my money back and my change from the tips jar

Wi-fi is 5MB down, 0.5MB up, it was quiet when I was there. Good enough to do a Teams/Zoom meeting but I wouldn’t want to be the presenter with that upload speed, would probably be a problem.

Love the coffee from here nice selection of cakes and sandwiches. The staff are always great and the click and collect on the app is handy when it looks too busy.

The shelf we were sitting by had thick dust and I mean thick dust all over it, disgraceful in these covid times. I had a ham and cheese panini, which was inedible, rock hard, no apology, no refund, I walked out in disgust.

I love this place I’ve been going for years and even though I have ones closer to me it’s always a nice drive out. I went there recently did the river loop walk with my dog then headed in to here for a iced coffee with my dog. They’re dog friendly and the staff loved making a fuss of him.
