Such a shame. Serves great snack food and good beers but never have enough staff on or indeed a manager who is professional and all over the very, very simple things to get right. Huge queues at the bar virtually all afternoon. Staff not clearing dirty glasses and plates. All just stacked up on the bar with no one even bothered about presentation or cleanliness. Cleaning sprays and cloths left on the bar for hours. Fairly disgusting to be honest. Could be so much better. Hopefully the owners read this and get a grip.

Went to the riverside last night for a birthday meal ,and was very impressed with it.the pub is lovely, very welcoming,the food was good,ribeye steak ,and the staff we were excellent, would come again.

We went for Sunday lunch today, Dinner was lovely, came hot and came with your own jug of gravy, there was way to much beef for me but that is probably a bonus, they also run another menu if you didnt want the Sunday roast, the Mango chicken nan with chunky chips is to die for. Staff are pleasant and cant do enough for you. Will definitely be visiting again.

Called in here to grab a bite to eat for 2 adults and 2 kids on Saturday afternoon, there weren't any tables available inside or we would have eaten in. Usually I'm not a fan of greggs pasties dropping bits of flaky pastry down your front so had pizza instead and it was tasty. Most greggs shops in Stockport aren't very appealing but this one was better.

Located on platform 5 of Crewe railway station the Gourmet Coffee Bar and Kitchen is a good place to get a drink whilst on your train journey. When I was there I was served by a friendly lady and her colleague took my money and my drink was ready. They were a very efficient team!

I have become somewhat of a regular nipping into GG’s for a hot chocolate while I walk my little pup! Such a blessing to have them at the Mere. I always go for a hot chocolate as motivation to do a lap round. Always lovely staff on shift, it’s nice to have a little laugh when you order coffee. Nice gluten free snacks too.

Had a lovely lunch with my daughter Great food and drinks. Nice atmosphere and waitresses very welcoming. Definitely will visit again.

After our excellent tour of LMH in conditions that made you feel for the poor workers of the day, we were ready for coffee and cake. Separate pots of filter coffee and a jug of very hot milk; cheese scones and a slice of Bakewell, just what we needed. Even on a poor weather day, both cafés were busy, hopefully you will get a seat.

Ordered on line with just eat. Payment taken, but then got a message saying order not accepted. Went on to Riminis website where orders were being taken. Put the order in and paid again. Got a message saying food being prepared. An hour later, still getting same message. Phoned Riminis who said they had cancelled the order. Paid twice and no food. DO NOT ORDER FROM RIMINIS

Arranged to meet family for a bite to eat and catch up. Myself and hubby had been for lunch once before and enjoyed it. Well lunch here is exceptional it really is , you can have traditional Sunday lunch or from the menu. We decided on traditional and weren't disappointed at all, everything is freshly prepared and cooked to perfection . We got talking to the landlord and his wife David and Becky a really lovely friendly couple who you can tell care about their pub and customers. They have something going on most evenings and really work hard. It's a shame we don't live nearer as we certainly would make it our local. Perfect Sunday would be a late lunch then stay on for quiz night ( with prizes we were told) They also do a pensioners special in the week. I don't think it will be too long before a return visit when we are next in the area 😀 😋

Really nice garden centre to while away a couple of hours. Good selection of plants and a decent cafe.

They asked me 3 times what muffin I wanted I clearly said chocolate and got a blueberry one they had no apology for this and just blamed it on another person behind the till
