After our excellent tour of LMH in conditions that made you feel for the poor workers of the day, we were ready for coffee and cake. Separate pots of filter coffee and a jug of very hot milk; cheese scones and a slice of Bakewell, just what we needed. Even on a poor weather day, both cafés were busy, hopefully you will get a seat.

I was shocked at the smallness of my cheese sandwich. The Tony pot of pickle was tasteless. The accompanying packet of crisps was the only high point. Staff on duty appeared to be do disinterested in servicing almost left without purchasing anything. Had to sit outside as the last indoor seat had no table. The table had been taken by another customer who wanted 2 tables for some reason - they were a party of 2. It was such a cold day felt very unhappy the staff did not return the table to allow me to sit inside. Very poor customer service. poor refection on the National Trust. In future will either bring a picnic or eat elsewhere.

After walking around Little Moreton Hall which is a great place. Stopped off for lunch 🥙 in The Pantry what great food and coffee ☕️. Made very welcome by the staff and it’s very child friendly. The is seating outside in the gardens and you can feed the ducks 🦆. All told a great place to eat.

We popped in while visiting Little Moreton Hall, The scones and jam, cup of tea, were just what was needed to hit the spot! When we go back, I'll make sure that I'm hungrier. Very reasonably priced, helpful, friendly staff and comfortabe surroundings all helped to make this a pleasant visit.

Called for a drink and sandwich. Outstanding service from a long standing staff member. Ham sandwich was fresh and delicious with a very flavoursome fresh salad. Yes it is pricey but it does reflect the location and quality. Would highly recommend.

it was a lovely day so we were able to sit outside , it was late on a Sat afternoon just before closing .Had it been earlier there would not have been enough seats. the price of the ice cream was very expensive £2.50 a scoop if you had a couple of children a fiver for 2 ice creams! the pots of tea We had tea for 3 cost almost £7 ! So that's £12 already.i know the properties cost a lot to maintain but surely the prices could be more family friendly?

Staff were very friendly right from entering the pantry. The waitress gave me a sample of the soup before i decided to buy which was a good idea rather than buy something you dont like.Delicious soup, all fresh and lovely cake and sandwiches.Salad also very nice and fresh.NT properties are always expensive when you eat there and this was no different.Worth it though as it was all so nice.I thought it strange that onesoup ordered with sandwiches came in a tea cup rather than a bowl !

I haven't visited since they opened/renamed this, but how delightful to know that the cafe at LMH is named after my 2x great grandmother, Ann Dale. She used to sell cream teas on the lawn of the Hall way before LMH became a tourist destination or was owned by the NT

Having paid almost £10 each to visit the Hall, we were quite surprised to find that the food and drinks were quite dear as well. However, we took the bull by the horns and asked for one cream tea comprising of 2 scones and a pot of tea- which was more than adequate for us both and at £6.75 worked out extremely reasonable! A careful reading of the menu will give good value for money. Lovely surroundings, very pleasant staff and first class food- just be careful of the pricing.

Little Moreton Hall in Cheshire is beautiful but when you go to eat in-house then the problem happens. the food is super, don't get me wrong. it is home made and really nice. We had soup over £5 in a fairly small bowl, but with a big chunk of bread. The coffee was expensive as well but I managed 4 cups of tea for a pot for one and the coffee was similar, but did I want 4 cups? Cakes were really nice and Moorish but expensive. So for a really nice tea use the pantry but be aware of the cost.

Delicious brunch - the bread they use for their toast just melts in your mouth. Lovely sunny aspect, chilled background music and really great service.

We held a joint 60/80 party here and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff are brilliant and extremely helpful from all correspondence to the night. We had about 30 ppl for a small do and they were brilliant letting us come earlier even though half of our party did end up staying to the late! The food was exceptional the steak ale pie was devine and had our guests talking about it for weeks after! Compliments to the chef! Lovely party area, when decorated with balloons and banners it was a really good atmosphere, the bar were happy to play music on Spotify all night. Really spacious and just a really lovely evening. Great hospitality. Deffo worth considering for a function.

Attended here with friends for an evening meal as part of a group of 11 and the service by Niall was outstanding. We had the evening meal and breakfast package from the premier inn next door and very good value for money!

We used to live in Weaverham and often walked to the Riverside for a drink or food. They used to do 2 main courses for £10 which was good values for money. I know those days are now gone but after our recent visit I don’t think we will be returning. We booked a table for Sunday lunch for 4 people. We ordered drinks which came promptly and then ordered our food. We only ordered 4 mains, fish and chips, sea bass and 2 x steak and ale pies. We waited over an hour for our food, others who arrived after us received their food so we asked how long ours was going to take and were told they were just plating up. 10 minutes later we finally received our food. The fish and chips did look lovely and was a healthy portion size, the pies were well filled but mash potato was a bit on the small side. The main issue was the sea bass. There were 2 small fillets with a few crushed potatoes underneath, a spoonful of frozen peas, 2 green beans and 5 mange tout. Now for £17.95 I expected more. I’m not a big eater or a quick eater but I finished my meal first, and I knew I wouldn’t be full for long. How much do vegetables cost? Surely some carrots and tender stem broccoli wouldn’t break the budget? I did mention this and I was not charged for my alcohol free G&T, but I couldn’t wait to get home and have something to eat, disappointing.

Visited the Wilbrahams on my lunch break. I found everyone to be incredibly welcoming and friendly. There was a wide range of options on the food menu, I went with the grilled cheese sandwich and was not disappointed! Generous portions, great value for money and friendly staff.
