Goats cheese salad the best !!! What a lovely salad it was plenty of cheese and nice and warm . Lots of fresh lettuce, cherry tomatoes walnuts in a honey balsamic sauce yum yummy .. 100% recommend food here :) excellent

We came past this nice little pub for a pint The barman looked like he needed waking up. Didn’t really look happy to see us. Ps pints are nice tho but no dry roasted nuts ffs

Good atmosphere polite and friendly staff, good selection of draught beers and ciders. We had a good “early doors” drink, staff made us very welcome.

waited about 40 minutes for the food to arrive despite there only being a few other groups of people there, makes you wonder how they do during busier times. nonetheless the food was absolutely amazing! nice inside & clean. :-) staff were also kind and not pushy whatsoever which feels like a rarity nowadays.

ordered a sausage sandwich and they sent chips instead, how can you mistake chips for a sausage sandwich. absolute joke won't order from here again

Always a good time at the white lion, great selection of beers, even a decent range of alchohol free drinks, food is top notch, them chips are ace!

We went to the garden centre yesterday and we were completely disappointed. The staff were completely rude and disrespectful (especially the person who was working at the farm gift shop). If I could give you a negative star review then I would.

We visited on Friday approximately 3pm. Can honestly say it was a Fabulous experience from start to finish. We ordered two burgers, fish and chips, scampi and chips and sides of chicken wings/onion rings. The potions seemed bigger than other Green King pubs we visit back in the midlands and the whole experience was Brilliant. Friendly Staff, Fabulous Food, Clean and tidy, sections cordened off whilst cleaning was taking place which I thought was particularly good service. Will definitely recommend to others and visit again.

Me encanta esta comida pub gran precio que no se puede superar especialmente con App. El personal es muy amable y saldrá de allí. Haz el Quiz cada miércoles, lo cual es genial también. Trish y el equipo están haciendo un gran trabajo.

A brilliant place for a family celebration. Ideally book a private room with menus selected prior to the event. Note the need for a minimum number of guests. It is hard to find anything negative with excellent service, a lovely environment and delicious food and wine. Strongly recommended. Well done.

Visited today, excellent customer service, and ice cream. It's been a while since our last visit, and it was lovely to see the new interior in the cafe. Will definitely return.

Great for coffee & cake - generous size coffee and hot (not tepid!). A select few cakes to choose from and a smallish selection of snacks/meals. Friendly staff and quick service.

We held a joint 60/80 party here and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff are brilliant and extremely helpful from all correspondence to the night. We had about 30 ppl for a small do and they were brilliant letting us come earlier even though half of our party did end up staying to the late! The food was exceptional the steak ale pie was devine and had our guests talking about it for weeks after! Compliments to the chef! Lovely party area, when decorated with balloons and banners it was a really good atmosphere, the bar were happy to play music on Spotify all night. Really spacious and just a really lovely evening. Great hospitality. Deffo worth considering for a function.
