waited about 40 minutes for the food to arrive despite there only being a few other groups of people there, makes you wonder how they do during busier times. nonetheless the food was absolutely amazing! nice inside & clean. :-) staff were also kind and not pushy whatsoever which feels like a rarity nowadays.

Good town centre pub with local atmosphere, good beer although selection can be a bit narrow. Very good place to stop for a pint when the Mrs is shopping

An absolute superb place to eat, couldn’t pick fault with anything portion sizes were excellent for all meals including child’s one, Staff are fantastic Thanks for a great experience. Highly recommend.

We regularly visit here..family meals, date nights, breakfasts, lunches even my sisters baby shower. Always good food. Always greeted with smile's. Tonight we had booked in for a family meal at a certain table and did not realise a 30th birthday event was happening at the same time. Big shout out to Sarah who served us arlt the bar. Calm cool and collective. Very professional. Very attentive when listening to my order (a family of 5 all with ADHD and sensory issues) she was amazing! Went Above and beyond to assist us in moving tables due to the party of loud sweary individuals. All done with a huge smile! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! ☆☆☆☆☆☆

I can not express my appreciation enough for the service that we received on Thursday here at the Red Lion. I came with my sister and 85 year old mum, who is partially sighted and not the most confident of people when she’s out. But she and us were made to feel incredibly welcome, nothing was to much trouble, we were waited on hand and foot, in fact the barman even remembered what mum and I had last time. I had the breakfast, my sister had a cheese melt and mum had a small portion of chips and fish fingers.And they even brought a separate plate with a couple of strips of bacon for Elvis, yes, Elvis the Chahauhau. The food was fabulous, the environment was comfortable and warm, thanks to the open fire next to us. Mum, who is not the most stable and can’t come out without her pet push chair with Elvis in has so ice been in on her own, she called on for a coffee a while on her morning walk to the shop. That might not seem much to most, but for my mum, that’s a massive achievement and the staff were fabulous with her, made her feel incredibly at ease. She now feels confident that she can call in on her own, it’s given her something to look forward too, and that’s thanks to the Staff and management at the Lion. I can’t praise this place enough, definitely the place to go. Thanks everyone. Lots a love. Dave 😊 xx

Insanely good food, would highly recommend, superb service too, as the cake I ordered wasn’t available so they gave me another cake instead, and to be honest it was nicer lol, absolutely incredible ❤️

A brilliant place for a family celebration. Ideally book a private room with menus selected prior to the event. Note the need for a minimum number of guests. It is hard to find anything negative with excellent service, a lovely environment and delicious food and wine. Strongly recommended. Well done.

Visited the Wilbrahams on my lunch break. I found everyone to be incredibly welcoming and friendly. There was a wide range of options on the food menu, I went with the grilled cheese sandwich and was not disappointed! Generous portions, great value for money and friendly staff.

Fantastic place to go come rain or shine! Great outside play area to keep little ones entertained for a while. Cafe offering an amazing choice of ice creams and drinks. Other food options also available but have never tried these. Definitely will return and recommend!

Great for coffee & cake - generous size coffee and hot (not tepid!). A select few cakes to choose from and a smallish selection of snacks/meals. Friendly staff and quick service.

We held a joint 60/80 party here and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff are brilliant and extremely helpful from all correspondence to the night. We had about 30 ppl for a small do and they were brilliant letting us come earlier even though half of our party did end up staying to the late! The food was exceptional the steak ale pie was devine and had our guests talking about it for weeks after! Compliments to the chef! Lovely party area, when decorated with balloons and banners it was a really good atmosphere, the bar were happy to play music on Spotify all night. Really spacious and just a really lovely evening. Great hospitality. Deffo worth considering for a function.

Such a shame. Serves great snack food and good beers but never have enough staff on or indeed a manager who is professional and all over the very, very simple things to get right. Huge queues at the bar virtually all afternoon. Staff not clearing dirty glasses and plates. All just stacked up on the bar with no one even bothered about presentation or cleanliness. Cleaning sprays and cloths left on the bar for hours. Fairly disgusting to be honest. Could be so much better. Hopefully the owners read this and get a grip.
