Fantastic place to go come rain or shine! Great outside play area to keep little ones entertained for a while. Cafe offering an amazing choice of ice creams and drinks. Other food options also available but have never tried these. Definitely will return and recommend!

Fab ice cream & desserts, the staff are also super friendly & the service is good. Unfortunately, whilst visiting today a lady let her 2 off lead dogs over to our table to harass our dogs & go under our table whilst we were eating. Apparently she lived there- which if anything makes it worse, especially with a dogs on lead policy in place.

We called for ice cream after seeing Seven Siters on our way back from Jodrell Bank. There's lots of parking and a chilled atmosphere which is good. The animals are fun for the kids to see but hand sanitisers were empty which presented a H&S issue. The ice cream is very good and there was a nice selection of flavours but the staff seemed chaotic and disorganised behind the counter. Overall it's worth stopping for ice cream if it's a sunny day by but I won't be rushing back.

Visited yesterday afternoon just before closing. My Poodle puppy was allowed inside which was fabulous as it was poring with rain. We enjoyed a cone a tub and a coffee in a pleasant and clean environment. The staff were very helpful and polite. Can’t comment on the cakes as they’d already been put away for closing. Visited here for the first time at the weekend. The ice cream is one of the best I’ve ever had and the setting is beautiful and well thought out. The queueing system allows for social distancing and the place looks very clean and hygienic. The ice cream flavours are great and there is a good selection of cones and additions. We don’t have children but it looks like a great place to bring them for an hour or so if you do. Will definitely be back!

We went back here today after trying some else last week which wasn't a patch on this place. The ice cream is always lovely and the scoop sizes are generous. They don't scrimp on ingredients so each flavour tastes different and is full of whatever it is advertised as. The biscoff flavour is always on and never fails to please. Plenty of parking space and good, friendly service despite being very busy. The only gripe is that they really do need a display board with current flavours on before you get to the ice cream. This would speed up service and and enable people to make their minds up without feeling rushed and under pressure. Howeve, the ice cream itself is great.

Unfortunately, despite a whole section about COVID safety on their website, including "each member of staff has been trained in the correct health and hygiene procedures to manage your and their safety" I was astonished that staff were not wearing gloves, so handling food without protection was a massive turn off and I walked out. They didn't have hair nets on either. Seems only the public are asked to take responsibility for hygiene. Whilst the website says staff are tested daily, it would be far better to operate safely in the first place!

I bought my visiting parents here this weekend as we have always had a good experience here and also my Mum is an animal lover so I wanted to show her the cows! The ice cream is lovely but the ordering system is a shambles, coupled with the fact the music is so loud, add into that face masks and the staff can’t hear what you’re saying and vice versa. The system for ordering seems so unorganised, there are 3 people serving 3 other people and it just makes the process more stressful than it needs to be. Also it would be useful if the flavours available that day were on a blackboard or something so people can choose before they get to the counter!

Lovely icecream. Very creamy. Message on the door stating they do not allow anyone in without a mask due to being a high risk area. When we entered the shop, I was disappointed to see 3/4 staff members wearing face masks over their mouths, not covering their noses.

I’ve driven past this ice cream shop for several years and have never been before. After a long shopping trip we decided to call in - we noticed the new ‘posh ice cream’ branding (such a difficult font to read when driving!). Sadly it didn’t live up to our expectations. The choices were rather limited and there definitely was nothing ‘posh’ about the flavours - they were all a bit pedestrian to be honest. Portions were very generous but sadly lacking in flavour or originality. We won’t be rushing back.

Lovely building and environment, your hopes are certainly raised when you arrive. Warm inviting interior too. But then the choice of food and drink is not just limited, what they do is also half baked. No flat white, so had a cappuccino. Nothing more than standard machine coffee I'm afraid. Scones looked nice, but squirty cream only, unapologetically no clotted cream. So I thought I'd have a different cake, well there were no other proper cakes, just a variety of rice crispy bake things. All of this is a let down in an age when there are loads of other coffee shops giving real quality food and drink. They are your competitors, and they're the ones we will go back to. Feedback is a gift. You could do so much better.

Fortunately we didn’t have to travel too far to visit here. The place is obviously aimed at children with the equipment and activities on offer but not to have a children’s menu for Food and just to offer children’s portions of just 2 of the items on a really small menu anyway seems a bit shortsighted. Either offer a children’s menu (beans on toast, cheese on toast, fishfingers etc) or a “lunch box” meal - pre wrapped sandwich - cheese/ham, juice carton, piece of fruit or biscuit or voucher for ice cream - pre packed so no prep. What child would ever want an oatcake! Plenty of signs saying “if you you eat your own food you’ll be asked to leave”.......please expand the menu for children then we wouldn’t have to leave to eat! Take a leaf out of Great Budworth Ice Cream Farm - very child friendly!

We are regular visitors to Seven Sisters. Their ice cream selection is brilliant and they often have one off ‘occasion’ flavours. The selection of savoury/lunch food is much more limited so we usually pop in for an ice cream and eat our main meal elsewhere. In addition to the cafe there is an outside play area with a sandpit, stage, and lots of ride-on vehicles for little ones. For more inclement whether there is a covered area with swings and small climbing frames (suitable for toddler age). Just next to the car park there is also a barn with cows - always a hit with my children.

I wish I had read the reviews on here earlier - as I now see that others have encountered the extremely rude manager............We went as a family, including my 10 year old daughter who has a severe allergy and as a result is very anxious about eating out, so this was a rare treat. Absolutely everywhere we go, places are usually more than happy to show us the allergens list/ingredients - and in fact most places actually prefer you to see them for yourself. Except here! We were made to feel very uncomfortable by the owner, who very loudly and obviously huffed and puffed, glared at us, motioned to other staff whilst rolling her eyes towards us, slammed the pages of the allergens folder, she was very aggressive - all in front of a long queue of others. I tried to explain that my daughter is young, anxious, and would she please understand this and simply reassure her about the ingredients - but we were both just left totally embarrassed and upset. We left with my daughter in tears - and won't go again. I'm trying my best as a parent to encourage my allergic child to always speak up and question what she is given to eat as she is now getting older and heading towards being more independent. She's very shy as it is, but I'm trying to make her feel confident that her questions will always be well received if she simply explains her allergy and concerns........however this experience just totally wrecked everything I've been trying to do. Please avoid if you have allergies - do not put your trust in Seven Sisters, the management obviously have no understanding or patience with people with food allergies.

When asked to swap for something else we were offered 'one' scoop of ice cream in a tub instead!!! 'We have compared our quality to the best in Manchester and ours is on a par.'This was followed up with a sarcastic comment about our boys not liking the flavour of the replacement ice cream. The worst customer service that I've witnessed in a long time. We were returning from the Lake District to South Wales and wanted a nice non-service station break on the way. This was a perfect choice, a couple of miles off J19 of M6 at Knutsford. Although a Sunday, it was a bit slow going through Knutsford as there was a fair on but not too bad. We found Seven Sisters easily and there was plenty of parking. It looked pretty from outside and welcoming and bright and modern inside. We arrived at 12.30 pm and it was very busy with families (I think the children had just finished a football match) so there were no tables in the main area, but we sat on stools in The Parlour at that was fine. We had soup/bread/cheese and quiche and salad. We had hot drinks first which were very nice and although the food took a little while they were very tasty and worth the wait. The waitress was really attentive, took our cups to make space and apologised that we had to wait. We were too full after for ice creams but there was a lot of fabulous choice! This is a great place for families but maybe a bit noisy and hectic for us without children. The only real spoiler was the amount of badly behaved (barking and not on leads) dogs in the dining area?It was well worth the stop and only took 10 mins to get back on M6 at J20.

Myself and friends were enjoying our time here with good food and good ice cream with service a little slow. I had my 3 year old Cocker Spaniel with me who was patiently sat under our table on a short lead throughout until a small Jack Russel type dog off lead approached him and clamped onto his throat unprovoked.I kicked the dog away however, it kept trying to come back and attack my dog. I asked in the restaurant who’s dog it was and the owner of Seven Sisters admitted it was her’s asking what had happened. She said it must be because my dog was a puppy however, he is three years old. She then said it is just because he looks like a puppy. Luckily my dog did not have any injuries as he has thick fur but I dread to think the impact it would have had socially and physically on a puppy. The owner did not contest what had happened and did apologise but not to the extent I would expect. As a resolution she said she had placed her dog in the back room. Unfortunately it was still not secure and when I was putting my dog in the car he tried to attack again. The message is simple. If your dog is aggressive in any way keep it secure otherwise you risk being prosecuted for offence of dog being dangerously out of control.Being a dog lover I would not attend again.

We first came here several years ago when they had just opened and had ice creams which were good. Went again today to see how they have expanded etc. and for lunch. Now they have a glossy glass and chrome cabinet with food in it. We had the soup of the day which was pea and mint, served with soft fresh bread butter and a slice of cheese. Excellent. Machine coffee was acceptable too. Being a warm sunny day we were able to sit outside to avoid the LOUD Booma Booma Thump Thump music. Why? It was not necessary and I would suggest totally inappropriate unless it was to keep the young staff girls happy .

I visited today with my husband and son. There is a good selection of ice-creams and cones and you can have a taste before you make your decision. I tasted one flavour which was OK, and the ice-cream was a good texture. My husband and son both had chocolate ice-cream which was once again a good texture. Then I placed my order, but when I tasted it, it was more cream than ice; ie it was simply not frozen enough. I politely said to the young girl who served me that I wasn't happy with it as it was just too soft. Without saying a word, she looked at a woman who I assume was the owner who came over, gave me such a look of disgust, took my cone off me and angrily flicked the ice-cream in the bin. She said that it had been freshly made that morning (but the problem wasn't with the taste it was the texture). She went to give me a scoop of the same ice-cream but then realised and said 'or would you like another flavour?' I chose another flavour and as she gave it to me she said 'or are you going to change your mind again?' The look on her face was of pure annoyance and her attitude was incredibly rude. We shall not be visiting again.

The zombie actors in the maize maze got the kids excited and the promise of a reward of ice cream for finding the cows in the maze got them excited. If they laid on bacon sarnies or breakfasts and better coffee it would be ideal.

I had high hopes when I walked in, but the quiche had been heated up in a microwave so was as flat as a pancake with soggy pastry. The balsamic glaze was missing from the salad and we had to send them back for them to add.I then moved onto the scone with cream and jam and the jam was cheap and not nice, but the most unbelievable thing was it came with squirty cream. The cream has no taste and when you place the 2 halves of the scone together the air dissipates and you are left with nothing. You would think being a farm and the surrounding area they would have the most amazing cream and jam. When I asked if they had any other cream they said no. Then said they had double cream only. I advised the cafe staff that they should really have proper cream if serving scones and got a awful look as if she couldn't care less. For the prices they charge I would expect better quality and friendly staff. I am categorically never eating here again.

Visited after seeing the farm on travels through Knutsford on the A50. The menu and visual appearance of the ice creams on offer looked very promising, however the actuality was very disappointing. We had hot chocolates to drink and they were tasteless. It was as if you had used half a teaspoon of instant hot choc powder in a half pint mug. We put those down to experience and looked forward to the ice cream waffles that we had ordered...I had selected 2 flavours of ice cream - toffee fudge and jaffa cake, when served, I couldn't identify which was which - one scoop had a few bits of chewy stuff in, so I guess it was the fudge, so I guess the other dark brown scoop was the jaffa cake one, but there wasn't an iota of orange or chocolate flavour. We complained about the hot chocolate and to their credit they refunded the cost, but just said "that's how it comes out the machine when we press the button" - well guys - that isn't good enough. I was going to buy a big container to take away for my ice cream-a-holic mother, but after tasting them, didn't bother. Very disappointing.

We took a 5 year old and a 2 year old on the Maize Maze looking for the very well hidden calves. It was wet, muddy and windy but we loved it. We failed to find some of the calves, but there was a very helpful young man on hand to give us some much needed clues. Then off for ice creams and coffee, all were welcome. Next was playing in the barn, the kids got covered in straw but loved it, then over to see the heifers, the kids were fascinated by them. After two exciting hours we got back to the car. I have to apologise to the owner because I think we took half of his straw back home in the car, hours of cleaning followed. It was all worth it, a nice day outside, despite the weather and all the mud and straw was cleaned up in no time.

With such great reviews I was expecting great things. There's not a huge number of flavours and fairly unimaginative. At an icecream farm I'd have expected more than Oreo, pistachio, mint choc chip...opted for s'mores as this was something I'd not seen before. There wasn't much flavour. Described as vanilla with addition of biscuit pieces and marshmallows there was very little marshmallow and the icecream lacked flavour. There is a wider menu with waffles, shakes and smoothies...but as an icecream farm the icecream needs to be great before I'd try out other menu items. Great Budworth next week, hope it's better.

Couple of swings under cover, a few cars to sit in and push round outside. Herd of calves to look at, sandpit. Food was of the snack variety. Large indoor rooms to consume these or the ice cream inside. One point of concern was the number of large drops in the area used to sit in the cars, and what looked like an electric fence within touching distance of the play area.

Called here for a light lunch. From the very small menu choices we chose and were served a microscopic piece of quiche, small portion of beetroot salad and a few green leaves masquerading as salad. My daughter was served lukewarm soup. Both tasted nice, homemade, but seriously lacking in volume, (and heat in the case of the soup). When asking for a glass of tap water I was given a plastic cup. When I asked for a GLASS I was told the only glasses they have are the ones the ice creams are served in aka knickerbockerglory style!. Rather than drink from plastic I agreed to the kbg glass into which the tap water from the small plastic cup was poured......unbelievable!!! The young staff clearly thought that drinking from glass rather than plastic was very old fashioned judging by their tuts, eye raising and 'oh this is just too much trouble' demeanour. Overall a very poor show from what could be so much more!

The best ice cream I've had in ages. it's never too sweet or trying too hard with the 90+ flavours like some places. It's got a good selection approx 20 which change regular with the regular favourites always available. Drinks and homemade cakes available as well the flap jacks are brilliant. Good place to visit with friends or family. Great for young children as well give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Well its been 4 years since my last visit and I disliked it then and I still do, as a local only living 5 mins away I would love to visit more but will not be going again there is another very good ice cream farm not to far away think we will stick to there, found the ice cream to be over priced and lacking in flavour, not enough staff serving and it was busy when we were served the young girl look so unhappy and fed up £14 lighter for a few ice creams and a coke we went to sit down there was no room outside so we sat where the sofa's are most of the tables had dirty cups, plates ect on and the sofa's full of stains and the floor needs a good hoover and mop and I recommend they invest in some sort of fly traps I know its a farm and there is bound to be flys but the one's you hang up and the fly's stick to would help. We left most of the ice cream .Like I said in my last review the ice cream in Booths is better and I still think so.The staff need training on being more friendly and smile girls you may get a tip.!There is nothing really for a 3 year old to do other than a few little tikes slide and rocking horse.

Came for tea and ice cream with work colleagues on cycle ride. Large selection of home made ice creams. At outside in the courtyard on picnic tables. Plenty of seating in doors but always best to sit outsidePlenty of cyclists come here and there's plenty of spaces to prop your bike up against a farm building

Great choice of ices and super chocolated cones. We sat outside under the shade of a brolly and watched kids having fun and looking out over meadows. Friendly staff and good parking add up to a really special place for us oldies.

The café area looks new and is bright and modern with exposed sand blasted brick, white walls , grey paint work, lime washed furniture and I think flagged floors. Well-behaved dogs are welcomed inside. If the weather is ok there is a very pleasant siiting area outside over looking green rolling fields. There is also a tiny covered play area for children with a couple of rides in it. We had coffee and ice creams - both very good and not too expensive, Will go again.

Nice place, son had double cone with strawberry & vanilla, husband had trimisu flavour. They both really enjoyed them, I had Nutella it was ok,but in my opinion needs to be more nutty. There's loads of flavours to try so we will go again.

What a lovely idyllic venue to take the children and enjoy a home made delicious ice cream from the many flavours available. One point I'm sure they would have a good lunchtime market for doing sandwiches and jacket spud etc, but really lovely place we shall visit again the children 5 and 3 loved every minute

Light lunch here - their savoury menu is very limited, but that left room for delicious waffles & ice cream. The cakes & ice-cream menu is very extensive!! Lovely barn conversion with a really nice atmosphere & good choice of seating (sofas for the saddle-sore were much appreciated)

This might just seem a bit unfair three stars , but really I think this place could try a bit harder . its just a bit basic with just a few young cows to show off the farm bit. Most would just go for the ice cream which I would rate as fives stars and was really tasty.Cafe is quite bare and uninteresting - I am sure its better in peak season. An overflow is available for use on busy days and bank holidays , but again is is rarther plain and uninteresting .How about a little reading matter and a few ducks and chickens hanging around ?Lots for younger kids but little for adults to see.A farm shop would be a big plus

Visited this place one sunny lunch time recently. Nice renovated barn that had been painted and decorated in pretty colours with style. Lots of children so noisy as expected. I had the quiche and my friend the soup. Very nice but my portion was only small. Thought the savoury menu was limited but the coffee was good and although I didn't taste the ice cream it looked delicious.

What an amazing place for ice-cream lovers! I have visited Severn Sisters many times over the last 18 months often with family members or my kids. Everyone loves the ice-cream and the vast range of different flavours, including those that are familiar and some that are a little different or unusual. The farm venue has a lovely feel with the Cowshed cafe area being comfy and suitable for children. The outside area is equally well set out for children with the play barn available for older children to play in. I love the barn where the calves are as it directly links the care and production of the milk to the creation of the lovely ice-cream which helps to create a wholesome and ethical feel. Looking forward to visiting over the Easter break - hopefully will be cream-egg flavour or jammy dodger which is my all time favourite. The home-made cakes look good too but haven't tried them as yet.

Nice location, tasty but limited lunch selection (soup or quiche) and quite expensive for what it is. There is a great selection of ice creams, cakes and waffles, which are delicious but again quite expensive for what you get. There is plenty of space to eat indoors and out, there are calves in the barn and swings and toys for the kids. I have been here a number of times and always enjoy it so do the children and therefore will continue to visit despite the cost!

Went with a 3 year old to go and visit the cows. Nice drive through the lanes to get there. Plenty of parking available. The barn was full of gorgeous calves that we could feed and there was a play area with tyre swings that the little one loved. We went for ice cream and enjoyed the mix of flavours, a wider range than normal. The flavours were nice but not strong and defined enough. All in all a nice place to visit.

Ok let's start with a positive ... its clean, tidy, smart, food is ok farmy stuff etc .... soups etc ..... So why a 2 star ? .... This just simply is not the 4th best place to visit in Knutsford ... I live here so have visited this place a few times when dragged by the wife on a warm day as it's local .... I have rated it low because of the following items. Cost .... ok it's cheshire etc but I begrudge paying the sort of money for tea and snacks as you can pay in a good quality pub down the road. It's overly expensive and the ice cream is in my opinion just average (sorry) ...... I go with 3 kids and a round of ice creams and a brew will see you part with around £20 -25 ...... Secondly it's tiny .... there's literally nothing to do there ..... the cafe is small (it's only 1 building) ...... It has a couple of cows to pet in a small barn and a tiny play area with a few outdoor benches .... There was a crazy maze (again ridiculous priced) this year to be fair. Make no mistake if your not local and you go out your way to visit here going off a 'Ooowww .... well drive there and try this as it's the no 4 thing to do in Knutsford' you will be very dissapointed. I feel harsh bashing the place as they aren't the ones who give it that status and obviously being local I want to see business thrive etc .... but this really is fit only for cheshire housewives and their kids to meet up mid week and have a natter and a brew for an hour at best .... It is absolutely not a family day out at all ... So sorry it's only a two star from me !!!

A lovely place to visit with an extensive range of ice cream. Great for toddlers. They can feed the cows, play in the little open barn (mini slides, rockers, horse swings) and also play with toys in the ice cream cafe. My 2 year old frequently requests to go. He loves the cows and chocolate ice cream.

We visited the farm in October on a cold Sunday afternoon. The farm is easy to find on the Knutsford-Holmes Chapel road and it has a large car parking area, children's maize maze, a cow shed and a covered swing area for children. We chose to visit as the cafe is dog friendly - with dogs allowed on leads in both the inside and outside seating areas. You order at the counter and there is a nicely presented indoor and outside seating area where you can enjoy your food. A wide variety of ice cream flavours are available to purchase, plus hot drinks, soup, tray bakes and quiche. We ordered banana and toffee waffles with treacle pudding ice cream - which were delicious! The coffee and hot chocolate were good too! We will definately be back!

We visit here a lot a with our 5 and 7 year old we love it, reasonably priced, clean tidy, great selection of ice cream cakes and light snacks. Children can play in the barn area and see the cows there is plenty of seating inside and out. In the winter there is a huge log burner lit makes it very cosy and warm. Highly recommend a trip!

This was a quick stop on the way back from another attraction but it was a find. Yummy ice cream and tables inside and out to eat. It also has a cafe that looked nice though we didn't use it. You can also buy a freezer pack of ice cream that went down well once we reached home! Farm setting with animals to see, play stuff for the kids and a Maize Maze (though there looked like there was an extra fee for that).

We held a joint 60/80 party here and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff are brilliant and extremely helpful from all correspondence to the night. We had about 30 ppl for a small do and they were brilliant letting us come earlier even though half of our party did end up staying to the late! The food was exceptional the steak ale pie was devine and had our guests talking about it for weeks after! Compliments to the chef! Lovely party area, when decorated with balloons and banners it was a really good atmosphere, the bar were happy to play music on Spotify all night. Really spacious and just a really lovely evening. Great hospitality. Deffo worth considering for a function.

We used to live in Weaverham and often walked to the Riverside for a drink or food. They used to do 2 main courses for £10 which was good values for money. I know those days are now gone but after our recent visit I don’t think we will be returning. We booked a table for Sunday lunch for 4 people. We ordered drinks which came promptly and then ordered our food. We only ordered 4 mains, fish and chips, sea bass and 2 x steak and ale pies. We waited over an hour for our food, others who arrived after us received their food so we asked how long ours was going to take and were told they were just plating up. 10 minutes later we finally received our food. The fish and chips did look lovely and was a healthy portion size, the pies were well filled but mash potato was a bit on the small side. The main issue was the sea bass. There were 2 small fillets with a few crushed potatoes underneath, a spoonful of frozen peas, 2 green beans and 5 mange tout. Now for £17.95 I expected more. I’m not a big eater or a quick eater but I finished my meal first, and I knew I wouldn’t be full for long. How much do vegetables cost? Surely some carrots and tender stem broccoli wouldn’t break the budget? I did mention this and I was not charged for my alcohol free G&T, but I couldn’t wait to get home and have something to eat, disappointing.
