Food was half an hour late and cold. Flora is not usually like this so was quite surprised.

Asked for no butter / spread on chip barm. Came with loads on and also had transferred onto chips so son won’t eat.. left notes under restaurant notes.

Had a lovely walk around the garden centre & decided on some lunch in the cafe after seeing various good reviews online. Cafe was only a third full with lots of empty tables but the cafe appeared very grubby with hardly a clean table in sight - staff around chatting behind counter with no friendly welcome. As it was a nice day decided to look outside for a table. It was a tip! With ashtrays overflowing with rain water and rubbish and old high chairs everywhere. Didn’t fancy the food so just had a drink. Miserable service and grubby cafe. Was shocked it was still allowed to be open in that state.

Food was absolutely spot on.. The only thing is for the panini to be toasted a lot more. But everything else was great...

Burnt black toast, cold beans, thin end tops of tomato, no black pudding, fried bread was just a slice of bread soaked in oil. Hash browns weren’t cooked. Dry hard egg. Overall disappointing and just binned it all.

Friendly accommodating staff and good was tasty

Had a large breakfast. Nice homely feel with outside seating available. The black pudding was of superior quality to any other local cafe in my opinion.

Fantastic coffee and cakes. Flora has a wide selection for lunch and afternoon tea. It really did Hit the spot. Really good for the price.

the cheese scone order came with a scone and some chutney, nothing else

Very run down, dark, and grimy feeling. Stains on walls, floors and ceilings. Wobbly old tables. We gave it a chance. Tea cake was alright! Coffee was rubbish. Sorry. It's so dilapidated. Shame.

Not been in here for ages. Popped in for brunch- bacon sandwich ( on lovely seeded roll) and breakfast wrap (bacon, sausage, fried egg and cheese), americano and cappuccino. All really good, good value. Staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely go in again soon.

Its was really good food but my beans was missing

Took just short of 2 hours to arrive and it arrived cold and stale

Had passed this place on numerous occasions, but finally visited and so glad we did. We enjoyed our main meals, well cooked and presented, and to top off the day we noticed a freshly made crumble had just escaped the oven, laced with cherries, difficult to resist. Add the custard finished off a lovely meal. We will be returning. Excellent fayre.

We called in for a hot chocolate after visiting the garden centre (which is great if cold by the way). There were three tables free but all were covered in dirty pots. We moved the pots to a single table and put two tables together for the 3 of us, the pots were moved but our tables wasn't wiped. We ordered a couple of tea cakes and 3 luxury hot chocolates. Tea cake was large and ok. The hot choclate arrived looking good, cream on top and a chocolate sweet, dusted in coco powder, however on tasting it was awful, was awfully watery with barely any chocolate in there, pushing the squirty cream aside the liquid underneath was barely beige certainly not hot chocolate colour, it was £3 a cup as well. The mother in law did complain when we went to pay and was told they would tell the kitchen! No appology as far as I'm aware, we left all three drinks. Watching the staff memeber clean a table and he gave it a perfunctory wipe and from where i was sitting I could see food debris still on the talbe. The whole place is a bit tired and needs a good clean by the looks of it. The highchairs are stuffed in a corner so that if someone wants one they have to lift it out over the table we were sat at.

Food is good enough. Staff were great on our visit. Surroundings are a touch care worn. Overall v good

Do a good all day breakfast 😋 And unlike a lot of other places They do FRIED BREAD 🍞.

In the area not familiar with but Saturday morning bacon sandwich need consumed me. Called in as it had got car park. Fate as I enjoyed the bacon sandwich of my dreams. Took it as takeaway and unwrapped in car, revealed layers of foil and greaseproof paper, latter not needed. The bacon was crisp but not hard (connoisseurs will know what I mean) and the bread was fresh with lovely freshly crusted edge. Perfect with buttery bacon innards. Locals go see what you missing.

On arrival the tea room looked extremely ‘tired’, we wanted to sit outside but that was worse - cigarette ends in ashtrays hadn’t been cleared away, chairs were dirty and it was not an appealing place to sit. Inside wasn’t much better. Such a shame as a lovely garden centre - staff friendly but def needs to look more welcoming and the state of the ‘outside area’ made us not want to order any food (just drinks)

We visited the tearoom on our annual visit to the garden centre. It was very busy with limited seats available. When we found a table it became apparent the cleanliness of the whole establishment has deteriorated. The tables sticky and needed a clean, cake etc wiped up doors and windows. Menus needed an update as appeared old and dirty. Areas in conservatory leaking in. At one point I was very worried about eating the food in these premises. Food arrived at a high standard, staff friendly. But we wouldn’t return again due to the overall cleanliness. Toilets need some attention, cleaning and maintenance.

Good food at a good price shame its going to be knocked down in the near vuture

Friend suggested this cafe if visiting the flower shop next door. Mother 83 aunty 82 and myself went here for a late lunch. Service was quick. Toasted sandwiches, cake, coffee etc. Typical old fashioned cafe menu. It's very dated. Food was ok but again the menu dated and needed a fresh copy printing. Grubby. Place needed a thorough clean. The waiter was efficient but needed an apron as his own clothes were not suitable for serving food. Hand hygiene needs to be improved. The carrot cake was ok but dry in places. The chips were a chip shop style but not very nice. Family said their Toasted sandwich's were nice. Would not return due to lack of standards. Open kitchen is always a good sign however also looked like it needed a good sort out and personal bags on worktops is not hygienic. I'm sure the staff work very hard and it gets busy. A good clean and refresh and improved personal hygiene standards don't cost anything.

I ordered a bacon and egg barm, I got a sausage and egg barm instead. The barm all soggy, will never be ordering from them again. Over priced and poor service

Missing sausage from both sandwiches only ordered bacon and sausage on them so can’t understand how they got missed? Bacon was very dry also

A lot of food for what you pay

Nice food not roasting hot but also not cold either it was enjoyable left me furious that I hadn’t recieved my toast or fried bread on BOTH breakfasts rang up and the lady on the phone wasn’t bothered at all! Telling me to go through just eat! Service to customers needs to improve if I was my cafe I would’ve done everything I could to have made sure the customer was happy!

Nice little tea room. Good choice of food (Welsh Rarebit amazing) and prices very reasonable. Service good. Decor very tired and could do with an update but still an enjoyable visit.

Far too expensive for what it is . Food was poor at best and not well cooked . Staff are nice and friendly but that doesn't make up for it .

amazing from start to finish been back four times since alway very pleasant staff but the food the breakfast is amazing i ate all of it wich i never do , good value great quantity ingredients all fresh local sauced would definitely recommend them

What a delight, beautiful day sat outside in the sun service was brilliant. We both had a cooked breakfast and it was just perfect , we asked for bacon well done and it was. Better than I could do at home with much more speed. Tea and coffee also spot on and asked twice if everything was ok and with a smile, cant wait to go back only wish it was nearer for us.

The sausage and chips was horrible. Missed the peas and gravy. The rocky road was great. Food was late and cold.

The food is good when it’s right but last 2 orders have now been wrong. Ordered (and paid for) 3 portions of hash browns for 8 of us and just got 1 portion of 3 and also asked for no butter on any of the bacon barns, all had butter on so had to take bacon off and use our own bread. A little more attention to detail or just checking the orders and this place would be great!

Basic food and delivery always over an hour from the expecting time …given 1 star is more what they deserve them

Food was nice when it eventually arrived (I’m assuming no fault of the cafe) only thing was if paid £4.50 for a chocolate milkshake and got a hot chocolate which was cheaper than £4.50.

This delivery has not arrived!!! I have had to reorder and would like a refund in original order

Bacon bap, cheese and onion panini and coronation chicken sandwich were all delicious

eggs left a funny aftertaste and crusts were stale. not impressed

i can honestly say that this was the worst lunch i have ever encountered eating out! i ordered the baked potato with tuna mayo and salad. it was tiny, hardly any mayo in the tuna and not mixed in properly. the salad was a tiny salad garnish and the tiny portion of coleslaw tasted like it was going off! we had to ask for butter too! i think it was nearly £7…never again!

Afternoon tea with friends. Service was not as was expected. Large. Pint glasses supplied for our celebrated fizz drink. Sandwiches were dry at the edges. Internal layout looked like was very basic. Sorry we went there. Very disappointing, as we expected a far higher standard. Feeling sorry for my friend who booked it as part of her birthday celebration. One cup of tea. We must have been mad.

Just had afternoon tea delivered from Flora tearooms , absolutely delicious !! 3 ladies that Lunch washed down with a cheeky glass of Prosecco . Treat yourself ladies you won’t be disappointed xx

Soup was very nice but panini lacked flavour and was soggy when it arrived. Ordered for a lunch but it took an hour to come.

The food was excellent. I loved the way it was presented. Beans in a tub, hash brown wrapped separately. My favourite to date.

just under two hours late, cold and not what I PAID for!

Received the food over 2 hours after ordering which I understand can be the driver not the restaurant - however I rang for advice and was spoken down to. When I did finally receive the food - I’ve been sent 2 small breakfasts when I ordered 2 large so half the breakfast is missing anyway. Called back to see what they could do and the person I spoke to was rude.. shame because it’s a good breakfast but just puts me off wanting to return!!

Great food and service was good too. Didnt have too wait long for food for 3 eating in. The only down side was they allow dogs and on the day we ate in there was a dog barking for 20 mins while we were tryin to talk and eat. Other than that good.

Lovely cafe, great food and great service

Firstly Just Eat driver took ages to allocate my order (not the restaurants fault) then when the food arrived it wasn’t great, I ordered a Turkey, cranberry and stuffing sandwich with chips but I actually received a sandwich mainly consisting of cranberry sauce and dried up chips. I did try to ring the restaurant to let me know but the phone number on the website didn’t ring so couldn’t speak to them in person. Hopefully this is just a one off as from the other reviews it looks like lovely food. I have given full stars to the restaurant as it seems wrong to give them low stars when I couldn’t actually speak to them.

Wow. They've done it again! Food hot and fresh, portion sizes plentiful. Came really quick, listened to order order notes. I just love a consistent takeaway and Flora tearooms are that. 👍 Please keep it up and never go offline! 😅

I have eaten in at Flora many times however first time ordering on just eat for delivery and somewhat disappointed. 2hours,10mins for lunch delivery. Chips were cold and Sultana scone sent instead of Cherry as had no Cherry(nice little not though!). A phone call for substitute would of been better so I could have chosen something I like. Tuna Sandwich was delicious 😋 and chips were nice even after being microwaved.

WOW! chip butty is delicious! Proper chips on a soft vienna type bread roll 😋 please keep it up and thanks for being on just eat.

Coffee was fine but the all encompassing smell of fried food was unbearable. Was in there for 20 minutes and my food and hair completely stank. A shame because staff were pleasant and my friend’s sandwich was good. Need better extraction or to section off the kitchen.

Waited over 2 hours for delivery for a wrap and a scone, although it seems that may have been a Just Eat error.. I wasn't able to cancel my order due to it being non refundable, so unfortunately I had no choice but to "wait it out" no matter how long it took.

Really nice panini and really fresh home made chips. Just a suggestion but you could put a chip butty on the menu 😊
