Costa Coffee in Cheshire East

I visited the Nantwich store today, it is my favorite Costa! I love the perfect location, peaceful, pretty with car parking right opposite! A colleague informed me that they are moving, which is disappointing to hear as it's location is what sets this store apart from other Costas and the numerous coffee shops already in the cente of town! I do hope the fabulous staff remain the same! Dom and Donna are always so friendly, welcoming and helpful! The new staff member, Iysha is also an extremely friendly and helpful staff member. Nothing is ever too much and service is always fast and 10/10!

The couple in front of me had a large dog which was allowed/encouraged to put his paws & face on the counter where food & drink is served & lap his doggie chino - I don't blame the dog of course but oh dear so unhygienic!!! Yuk!

Just having my coffee none of the tables have been cleaned for sometime

I bought coffee this morning at 10:30 on the 14.7.24 and the barista was awful. He completely ignored my order and served about 5 people behind me. The people in the queue felt sorry for me and were asking why I wasn’t being served and eventually I was served with a horrible look on his face. As a person of colour that hurt and I could feel that I was not accepted in that shop

Always seems to be quite a wait, otherwise all good service with usually happy faces :)

Usual Costa fare, I happen to like Costa coffee a lot, good caffeine kick! Toast and jam always good for breakfast. Nice comfortable indoor seating. Clean. Friendly staff.

Just had the worst late takeaway ever…like warm, no froth and no brown sugar. I won’t be back

Costa coffee Alsager, has a very lovely and friendly atmosphere. All the staff under the stewardship of the manager Bryan, work very hard. Every member of staff, always has a smile on their face, even when it looks like they are very busy and under pressure. There is always a cheery hello, to every patron, which straightaway gives you the impression (correctly in my opinion), that the whole staff really do enjoy their work. Personally speaking, the coffee they make for me, is without doubt the best you can get for the money. Always made with care and attention, I have never had a bad experience here.

You know what you are getting when you go to a Costa coffee shop. Standard Costa fare.Cafe on two levels, ground floor disabled toilet, cobbled street outside.

Overpriced and not very nice staff. Years ago this lace was very nice but since this side of the pandemic not anymore.

We could only get a seat by the counter and every time someone came in they left the door open. Yet the staff were not that busy at times and could have made it a better experience by either shutting or requesting the door shut(or get maintenance to get it to self shut) and by clearing some tables quicker

The staff were pleasant enough. For once we had tea. The tea was made in the pot. We got saucers. I had to wait for the Barista to serve people in front to get cups and milk!? The there was no sugar. We've run out of all sugar, two members of staff told me. So, tea, no sugar. On the way out the sugar compartment was overflowing with white and brown sugar. I was unimpressed to be polite. I have used this Costa a lot of times, but twice in the last year I have had cause to reconsider. I use Costa's up and down Britain. It's their loss if I find an alternative.

Good Coffe / Location. At 3pm seemed to be Full of Teenagers.

Definitely the best Costa. Coffee is great staff friendly and seating is the best Only issue is you have to log on to EE at a cost to get Wi-Fi

Nice large coffee shop, great service

We when to purchase cakes and drinks on Thursday 16 of November at 12 35 joining the rest of the customers waiting for service. While waiting we heard the barista say to a customer we have no chocolate powder in the cafeteria. When our turn came and ordered we were told the same. Very poor of a store to run out of a popular item at that time of day.

This coffee shop has gone rapidly down hill over recent months. Selection of food and cakes/pastries is poor. Staff don't seem to care if they serve you or not. Think part of the problem is that nobody seems to be in charge. Used to be my 1st choice coffee shop in Nantwich, but not any more.

Nice staff. There is wide space between tables which is very good.

Sadly my visit today extremely disappointing. Only tomato and cheese panini on offer for vegetarian breakfast. Staff were disinterested, caused me to be humiliated and those in queue audibly sniggering. Total disgrace today, only tables with no customers sitting at them were covered by trays of dirty cups/rubbish. Will not be returning in a hurry.

Poorest Costa we've been in. The lad on the till was polite and friendly, but unlike other Costa's, the 'Barista' took no interest, pride or care in the coffee (which was poor) and just chucked it together, not helped by a very tired looking seating area. Can't see us going back there as there are plenty of alternative places in Nantwich that are better than this

This Costa and semi regular venue whilst my son has basketball practice near by I am a regular Costa customer and whilst the food and drinks are generally standardized the main point of exception is the venue and service This venue is situated in a mid Victorian building and is beginning to illustrate a element of tiredness and and could do with a coat of paint and renewal of fabrics and furniture Average Costa

Nice venue, set back from main areas and shops, staff were well organised, would recommend.

This was a christmas present off our son, we stayed on valentines day. It was a wonderful stay, staff were amazing, food was amazing the spa was excellent. Lovely hall with lovely grounds. Will definitely return, hopefully in the summer when the grounds are more accessible. Could not fault this place.

Service was fine. Seating area is starting to look it's age, and should be considered for a refurbishment, particularly the tables. Other Costas look more welcoming.

amazing black forest hot chocolate - never disappoints, especially on a cold day at Christmas - it definitely warms you up!

Had a costa delivery today had items missing with no replacement offered and I have to have decaff coffee due to severe allergies and a very strong normally coffee sent!! Luckily i could smell it wasnt decaff!!! . Cups so full they were leaking everywhere! Awful service when paying so much won't be ordering or having anything from here again!! Lack of care and very disappointing service

As always, Costa never fails to impress. Very comfortable and spacious, great atmosphere.

This Costa is one of the best I have visited. There is plenty of seating, some very comfy seats in front (although I've noticed they get very quickly taken! Here being alone to eat there is clearly a disadvantage as when couples visit, one can go order while the other hijacks the table). Nevertheless I ate one of the most delicious cheesecake ever with blueberries. And the Cafe is located in a nice area of Nantwich where cars are not allowed, making it even nicer.

Not enough staff but staff there were efficient and very hard working.

Staff members seem to hate their jobs and always talk about their lives loudly. They slam the cups and plates together when serving customers. The drinks are always different in taste and consistency. The overall slap dash service was horrendous!

Staff were lovely & friendly. Everywhere was clean & tidy. The hot chocolate was fantastic as always.

Great to be back at Costa Nantwich - Haven't been since before the Pandemic. One of my favourite Costas. Always a lovely atmosphere & the staff are great. Lots of space with a variety of table sizes.

Its my go to place for a takeaway coffee, the staff are always friendly and efficient and the coffee is great. Cakes are also fab as are the pannini s but i do find the bacon baps are poor.

Like every Costa we have been too it didn't disapoint we love the hot chocolate and cakes we will always look for a Costa Coffee when we go anywhere.

Always a busy Costa, but service is quick, friendly and professional. Coffee good and the employees are so friendly with people. One guy, can't remember his name, he was offering to take older people's drinks to their tables so they could get themselves sat down. he also offered to take a family picture of us when our son was having his babyccino... And finally drinking it ☺️ thank you!

Really nice and clean when we arrived even though it was busy. My 3 year old knocked over his hot chocolate and the staff member was lovely and straight over to clean it up even though I offered myself. She also got him a replacement which I thought was just lovely.

Larger than standard Costa nice inside and comfortable

From my vast experience of Costa (not kidding!), I'd rank this among the friendliest and - despite my sister's refusal to cross the threshold! - I don't think I've yet found one I wouldn't return to.

No brown toast, a cortardo that was pure milk, almost thrown at me. They did change my cortardo though. Barista needs manners.

We love Costa Nantwich and often call in for a coffee or hot chocolate and a snack while we are in town. This morning I went in with my two daughters and the service we received really went the extra mile! Thank you so much Dan and colleagues for brightening our days! (Those extra shots of coffee got me through a very busy day delivering mail!)

We visited Costa in Nantwich today with my 2 daughters and my 13 year was in her favourite anime costume, I was disgusted at the fact the fully grown man who was serving was laughing at my daughter and not even disguising the fact and whispering to his other colleagues who turned round to look at her. Luckily the manger seemed to clock his behaviour and he went through to the back of the coffee shop. It took a lot of courage for my daughter to go out like that and never thought it would be a full grown man laughing at her. On the plus side my daughter had a lot of positive comments about her costume, when we were round Nantwich and thank you to the manager for dealing with the situation.

Nice place for a coffee break when shopping in Nantwich

Popped in for a quick coffee, 25 minutes later still queuing. This was a Saturday afternoon when the retail park is busy. One person serving, preparing the drinks and food. She must of been stressed, but this young lady didn't show that. She served with a smile and was very polite. Costa you should be ashamed, no one should have to work unsupported and probably for pittance.

Came today for our coffee fix lovely staff always got a smile on their faces perfect coffee as usual this is the best costa in Staffordshire never had a bad cup. new coffee shop opposite fine if you want a smaller cup and pay twice as much and no breakfast menu staff don't interact with customers so for us it's costa wins hands down

it's always my first choice for a snack and a drink, especially when ime shopping in crewe that's why I've given it a 5☆ recommendation, So try them ¡

Same old same old. All Costa's are the same. Never as good as a local coffee bar, but at least you know it's consistent.

We visited here on a busy Saturday morning and we had a great experience! The staff were very attentive, cooking a vegan sandwich separately to a meat one and even offering to help us carry our son’s pram up a few steps. Lovely air con too on a sweltering day. We will definitely be back, thank you.

Brian was a boss! Ordered through uber eats and they didn't have special options for a chai latte, so I rang up to ask for specific ordering, was very polite, wanted to tip him but was suggested just to leave a review either way really happy with the service so thank you!! 😊

Could do better on covid friendlyness, some/most people going in without registering and cleaning hands, and not confronted, however, this happens in a lot of other places too. Otherwise as with most Costa's, friendly efficient staff

It was ok, takeaway only as expected, but would have expected to be able to use the ladies having spent the best part of £20. Ordered 3 Terry's orange hot chocolates, nice but not sure what happened to the orange flavour.

Brilliant service, quick and efficient the only costa i would go to

The experience was poor. We didn't get what we asked for we wanted three Terry's chocolate and one plain hot chocolate, but got four plain ones instead. All our cakes came in one bag and the servers didn't have a clue .

i went to Costa Nantwich today at around 2:15pm and had one of the worst experiences i have ever had...i went to Costa Nantwich with my lovely friends and ordered a vanilla iced latte i tried about 5 sips just to see whether i was in a coffee nightmare... but no... it was pure milk and vanilla syrup and no coffee .Now i am no expert but i am pretty sure coffee is not meant to be pure white...but it was. i have had this drink before at the exact same cafe and is was really nice .Five mins later with one of the friends and the drink and waited in the queue and the cold for what seemed like and eternity but was probably 5 mins and was finally consulted by what i thought was a lovely costa man but really was a rude snappy man i told him my cocern/problem "excuse me but i ordered i vanilla iced latte and it actually tastes and looks like sweet milk"his rude response was "well a latte is milk"and rudely recommended me to "next time"get a iced cappaccino,my response was last time i got the exact same and was much darker,he then said rudely again what do you want me to do about that then and gave me and my friend a extremely dirty look AGAIN i said well please could you add more coffee he said why i said because this is not coffee this is milk .the man then laughed in my face,i flead into the darkness still holding the same drink and through it in the bin.To add to this the price on the board said it was £2.45 however was charged £3.15. Overall i rate this experience a 0 and shall never return to Costa Natwich ever...ever....ever....again:(

An enjoyable coffee. Doing the best they can in difficult times

I met my wife here one Friday lunchtime for a simple coffee. Just two small ones as it was pouring. There were 4 people behind the counter and it took about 15 minutes to be served by indifferent nattering staff. Then we were charged £5.30 for these. I don’t like using Costa and this has confirmed it -at least for me.

Comfy, clean, and amazing staff and service! Always super friendly with nothing to much bother plus the food and drinks are delightful! Customer service is top notch.

This is my favorite Coffee brand I look out for in the high street, and My Happy Place when Im out shopping. I have a loyalty card and the other day I got my free coffee one (in 10??). My regular is a large cappichinos with a bakewell tart. I log onto the WiFi and chill. They have toilet facilities and nice decor and friendly staff. Not had any unhappy service.

On entering Costa in Nantwich, there is hand sanitiser available socially distanced spaces marked on the floor and a sign which makes it clear that people should wear a mask. The only exception being people who are opting to sit in as opposed to having a take out. However, the sign makes it clear that those opting to sit in, need to wear a mask until they are seated at a table. Well my recent experience was out of the 4 people queuing at the counter I was the only one wearing a mask and this is a regular occurrence. I understand that some people are exempt but a polite reminder by staff is all that it would take in most cases.
