Heather took and served my food and drink in her usual warm manner on Friday 16th May 2025. Already booked for this week

Alison was very efficient and friendly. It was a busy lunchtime but our food came on time and was delicious. We will certainly come back again.

Fantastic service by a lovely Lady called Alison she was so helpful and very cheerful. We are a party of 7 and a new baby and Alison looked after us so well x

There was a good range of vegetarian options, the fish and chips and chicken pie looked delicious. The staff were really friendly.

I was stuck on what chutney to buy, the lovely lady behind the counter took it upon herself to come out and tell me her favourites and which she thinks I would like! Absolutely lovely little shop (pork pies to die for) will definitely visit again when in the area.

Amazing service, amazing food when I go again I am going for the thick chips rather than the fries. Had the signature burger which was amazing. Outstanding mac n cheese Friendly staff catered for 15 and no issues with timings or charge. Well worth the money. A special shout out to Gemma who was amazing with the service

We came for a birthday meal with a group of 16, including 6 children, and everything was absolutely lovely! The food was delicious — not a single issue with any of the meals. Service was top-notch — 10/10! Our waitress went above and beyond, even splitting the bill by table when it came time to pay, which made things so much easier (especially with kids running around!). We’ll definitely be back. Thanks for having us, Honey Bee in Wilmslow!

Really lovely pub. Never visited before but the food was delicious! Can certainly recommend the roast! Alison was brilliant at looking after us and never made us feel rushed to finish up. Can't wait to come back!

Food was not completely warm and the staff member was rude

We had a very special lunch at the Honey Bee yesterday - as a group of 19. It was AMAZING!! In the run-up before, manager Alice and assistant manager Charlii have been extremely helpful and kind. Everyone was very welcoming, a young waiter at the bar was so friendly, patient and polite! We could personalise and decorate the tables, the quality of food was outstanding and beautifully presented - well done, chef and team! The atmosphere was truly wonderful. Thank you to all the Honey Bee staff! We have been at the Honey Bee as a family several times before and were very happy as well. - We couldn't recommend the Honey Bee more for individuals, families, small and bigger groups and are looking forward to our next visit!

Me and my Husband visited here today for lunch. On arrival we were met with happy staff, who promptly shown us to our table and ordered our drinks, Our waitress Alison was very friendly and attentive throughout our visit even though the dining area was busy. The food was excellent and very well presented. We would highly recommend this little gem of a pub to friends and family.

Second outing to Honey Bee. Really recommend this place...varied menu, food excellent and great staff.

We heard The Honey Bee has one of the best Sunday Roasts in Manchester, and the reconnaissance wasn't wrong. I got roast tenderloin slices, and my husband got lamb. They both came with gravy, potatoes, carrots, Yorkshire pudding, and a side of cabbage, broccoli, & parsnips. I also got a toffee sticky bun with pudding and a latte for dessert. So tasty! Additionally, the bar staff who served us were extremely friendly and accommodating. They also made sure to note my food allergies and go over lists of ingredients. I highly recommend The Honey Bee, but be sure to make a booking.

It was my first visit to The Honey Bee. One of the two of us follows a gluten-free diet, but the options were quite limited. Although some items were marked as gluten-free on the iPad menu, this wasn’t entirely accurate since all foods are cooked in the same fryer. The service was slow, and the fish was overcooked with a hard batter. The grilled chicken on the Penang curry was dry.Would be lovely to visit on a sunnier day for a drink, but would give the food a miss.

Service was very slow, our waitress seemed to walk past us multiple times without stopping even when we moved plates at the end to be removed or made eye contact to catch her attention. felt rude calling her down but did have to multiple times. food is lovely, however.

The Honey Bee is one of our favourite places to eat, it’s a cosy and welcoming atmosphere, the staff are friendly and the food is great. We were a little disappointed with the Valentine’s Day menu, as neither of us eat prawns and they seemed to feature in most of the main course options, so we were limited as to what we could choose. The starter and dessert choices made up for it so we still enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back!

Nice food and good service. Went on a Sunday and it was busy. Still received everything quickly.

Totally underwhelming. I had lamb roast, mum had turkey...food arrived cold. Bendy carrots and parsnips. The staff are pleasant but not enough of them and they are rushed off their feet.I had a meal last week which was equally disappointing..I don't think I will eat there again the food is just all so vanilla.

The Honey Bee is a lovely, clean pub. The food we had was delicious. Service was a bit slow, but the waitress was lovely. There is a large car park to the rear of the pub. A lovely garden to sit out in on sunny days. The Honey Bee is very close to Manchester Airport. My only moan was that the section we were sat in was very cold. I was sat with my coat over my knees. We will definitely be coming back.

This is the second time I've been here the last time was a birthday celebration the service was good food good This time my visit to The Honey Bee greeted with a lovely lady ask us where we would like to sit to which u choose a lovely seat in the window with a delicate flower in a vase and a candle flickering in a lovey holder .The place gave a warm welcome homely feeling table service was fab the food was absolutely 💯 the nicest I've tasted in a while .I gave my compliments to the chef who I was told is called Bruno 10 out of 10 Bruno my steak was cooked perfect you are an asset the this pub thankyou again defo coming back 😀

Called in for a quick lunch. We were surprised to find that there is a 50% off (basically buy one, get one) all week on the mains menu. The staff were super friendly and when the food arrived, faster than we expected, it was, possibly, the best fish and chips that we have ever had in a pub/restaurant (we are 60 and 61 so had a few dinners 😁). The fish was a good portion, the battery crispy without the soft, oily bottom that so many have and tasted lovely and fresh. The chips were not the usual thin fries but hand cut proper chips a hot soft fluffy inside and a crispy outside. There was also mushy peas, tartar sauce, half a lemon. Salt and pepper and malt vinegar on the table. The rest of the establishment was clean and inviting with a warm fire. We used the seat yourself, order at the bar facility (on line app ordering is available) but were also made aware that there is a restaurant/table service option available. This is an exemplary service. They should be proud. We will definitely be back!

We have passed the pub on many occasions but not ventured in. We had heard good reports of the Sunday lunches. We were very happy with the meal, service and hospitality. The staff were excellent and the food was extremely tasty and well presented. We would highly recommend the Sunday roast.

I was staying at the hotel just down the road and decided to pop in at the honey bee for lunch. On arrival Ali showed a table , she was lovely and chatted to me. The service was quick and friendly. I'll definitely go back if I'm in the area.

Food warm my meat tough potatos white as if not been in long enough overall a waist of £50

There was only white bread, they should offer brown plus other options, e.g. sourdough. I was disappointed with my fish finger sandwich, very little fish, as a diabetic would have preferred either brown or sourdough bread.
