Fabulous Sunday ‘Trio’ roast dinner - turkey, beef and thee most delicious pork belly with crispy crackling. Broccoli, glazed carrots, cabbage, parsnips, fluffy roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese to complete 😁 … and the dog was welcome too 🦮 Well worth the trip out.

Wouldn’t go again , food on the menu is not reflected what you receive on plate , looks like they’ve shopped in Iceland , small portions, check your bill , service charge suppose to only be added for party’s of 8 or over we where 7 ?

Received a very warm welcome yesterday 18th October 2024 from Heather. She took and servedmy drinks and food order in the usual warm and friendly manner. Table booked for next Monday and Friday.

Great staff place is cosy welcoming and great menu plus top class service and chat .

Kitchen wasn't working so they offered free food they could serve and free drinks amazing service

Booked for this Sunday and the Sunday lunch was super tasty. It's one of the best in the area. Had a great waitress serving us this time which certainly made the experience run super smooth. She was quick at returning with sauces, extra gravy etc. I've not seen her in here before but she is definayely a credit to the team, unlike the older lady who wears the face mask constantly. She threw the receipt at us the last rime when we declined to tip her. Today we left our waitress a tip because she genuinely deserved it. So thank you 😊

Booked for Sunday lunch on Sunday 13 October for 2.00 pm. Travelled for over an hour arriving at 1.45pm to be told by an employee that we could not be seated because of water pressure problems. We were so disappointed at the way we were treated. Hardly any apology or compensation for our trouble. Very bad customer service.

An absolute hidden gem in Wilmslow. The best food at amazing value. The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere and feel of the pub is so inviting.

The food was delicious, and plentiful, the staff were very attentive, and helpful, an all round great experience.

Service a little slow, there was only one waitress serving at tables. The waitress was lovely and tried her utmost to take everyones orders.

Staff can not help enough, so polite and the pub was clean and food delicious, thank you for our dining experience

Ate lunch here about an hour ago.The pate and fish and chips that I had were excellent and my better half had prawn cocktail and chicken/bacon/avocado salad which she said was excellent also.Cocktail and Timothy Taylor beer were good too.How anyone can manage 3 courses is a mystery as the portions are very generous.Also has the best gluten free bread rolls I've taste,individually packaged and sealed too.Staff were all great! Thanks for a great lunch.

Lovely pub, food and really friendly staff would highly recommend.

Popped in on a whim, early evening. Had seen mixed reviews but the 40% offer enticed us in. It was busy but not overwhelmingly so. The staff were welcoming and attentive, showed me how to collect stamps on the app and were patient when my 3 year old wanted to spend forever deciding and independently ordering his meal. My steak was cooked perfectly and the children's meals are a great size. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed and will certainly be back!

We came for a family birthday meal there last night, there was 11 of us and the food was amazing some of us had the pie, couple had the gammon, 1 had sea bass, and some had lasagna.

Lovely food and very friendly staff. Amazing food. Not a massive selection on food. But what they have on the menu, is very tasty. 👍 They have different pie and soup of the day. Steak and ale pie is scrumptious. Dog friendly. Wheelchair accessible. Disabled toilets downstairs. Other toilets are upstairs.

First visit to the Honey Bee and will definitely be back. Went for a surprise birthday meal with my granddaughter, daughter, mother and grandson. Jacqueline the waitress was lovely and made us feel very welcome. We were sat in a bay window table which had lovely views of the gardens and surrounding woodland. The food choice was good and they had different allergy options which was great as my mother is a celiac and requires gluten free. When the puddings arrived they surprised my granddaughter with a candle in her chocolate brownie and sang happy birthday to her. If you want a nice atmosphere, well cooked food and a chilled atmosphere definitely give this place a go

Superb service from all staff, wonderfully cooked steaks and Lamb, great atmosphere and all around really lovely place. The staff worked very hard on our visit last night, busy but took the time to be polite at all times, helpful and both food and drinks were served quickly. Great pub!

Food was good but the reason why its a one star is because 1. They tried to charge me 20£ for something I didn't get. 2. Service took way longer then it should. (I gave it a 2 star because maybe there was a lot of people.) 3. Our table was a bit dirty. Please fix your restaurant.

Shockingly understaffed, so after being seated, we waited 15mins, to have even a drink order taken.....would have gone to the bar, but only one harassed lady multi tasking with arrivals and coffee. Avocado on the 2 salads was grey, so sent back. Fishcakes, sadly thin/flat and underwhelming. Mini puddings, when they eventually arrived (25mins) were very nice, unfortunately the hot drinks ie 4 coffees didn't materialise, we gave up after another 30 mins waiting. Only beacon of light was our friendly ,hard working waitress Jackie, she seemed to be single handedly serving the whole pub, including a large party. We did get a very reasonable amount knocked off the bill, but that's not the point.....it spoilt what should have been a lovely lunch out with friends. I wont be recommending, or visiting the Honey Bee anytime soon

Great quality pub grub and drinks

We were a big group, looked after very well on Saturday night by Beth. She was really friendly and attentive, and we all enjoyed our food. The private room we were in was a lovely setting.

Amazing warm and friendly staff , excellent food at a good price . Second visit , from entering to leaving , the whole experience did not disapoint . Food is of a very high standard and very reasonably priced , the establishment is a warm , clean , friendly atmosphere and dog friendly. We were served by the lovely Charley who constantly smiled and looked after all of our needs and requests. Well done team 👏🏼 , see you all again .

Visited on Sunday for a roast dinner as we were breaking up a journey and it did not disappoint. Being part of Vintage Inns, and our local in Ilkley, we knew we'd be in safe hands. Wow, this place has got the roasts down to a tee, the lamb was absolute perfection. I am a roast snob and I never think anyone does it better than me, but these win, hands down. We'll be in whenever in the area.

My husband and I visited today after a 2 hour drive home from a camping trip in Shrewsbury - the food was well and truly needed and did not disappoint! We were served by a lovely man named Jon, he was very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Also had time for a little laugh as he was taking orders/ keeping us topped up with drinks. We had the crispy chicken starter, Sunday lunch and finished off with a mini brownie and a brew Left with very happy and stuffed tummies - Will definitely be back

We visited for dinner on Thursday evening. Our first visit in a few months and we were greeted warmly, again by Alice! Thankfully on this occasion she wasn't serving alone. We were looked after by a wonderful waitress called Heather who couldn't do enough for us. Additional drinks offered with our meals and she was so personable with all the other tables in the area. Our meals were cooked to perfection, the lamb rump was absolutely divine. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff on duty and we will certainly try not to leave it so long next time.

They clearly just microwave food, there are not enough staff so the service is shocking and rushed. Would only visit if you want cafe grade food and service.

Been recommended to go here and it was beautiful, food was delicious, staff were great, we decided to sit outside and you have to collect your own cutlery, I had to go through that basket to find clean cutlery, not little bits of food but big bits, we had starters main and dessert and dessert came out before the main, maybe it was just a bad day there.

A lovely pub with excellent food. Happened to drive past today and stopped for lunch as the garden looked so inviting. Ordered 2 pie and mash. Staff very polite and friendly. Landlady particularly welcoming. Sat outside - plenty of clean tables and chairs nicely arranged with parasols. Food was to a high standard. Highly recommend.

The Honey Bee is comfortable, clean, friendly staff, prompt service, good food and a really nice, relaxed atmosphere, the only thing that could be improved on is maybe change up the menu a bit but thats just a small gripe, over all I really like the place.

Wow, what a pub! Amazing food, lovely service and lovely people. Couldn’t recommend it more to all. We chose the Camembert for starter, what a beautiful pairing with the honey. We also had the signature burger for main and the chicken, bacon and avocado salad. Both were amazing! We will 100% be back. Prices are good too. Thank you for having us.

Had a very pleasant late Sunday lunch here with friends. The carpark was rammed but our table was reserved, we were served quickly and there was plenty of room to sit comfortably. I asked for pork belly but there was none left so opted for the beef instead. It was a good standard pub roast dinner with plenty of veg. Puddings and coffee afterwards were enjoyable too.

Lovely beer garden for nice days. Had a sunday roast and it was the best i’ve had in a long time! Staff were lovely! Stayed for a few drinks afterwards in the sun. They are dog friendly and have lots of cute details such as dog treats and crayons for kids. Would highly recommend. Close to the airport inn if you are staying.

Lovely place that allow dogs food brilliant only minor problem you need to keep the outside hut topped up with cutlery as there was none in there when we received food fortunately the food we ordered could be eaten without.

Ok so I’ve only just finished my chicken burger and I’ve actually gone inside to speak to the chefs to tell them how wonderful their burger actually was. I travel a lot and have ate burgers in a lot of so called top notch restaurants. This absolutely knocked it out of the ball park. I was insane. Please please please order it next time you come here. I’m think about coming back again in the next few days just so I can eat it again.

Better than your hungry horse type pub

We were a party of nine we had a lovely meal had to wait a long time as there was only Two staff serving meals and drinks which is the norm apparently,we were served by Alison who was wonderful I definitely think the honey bee needs more staff so people aren’t waiting so long I am so glad we had our waitress who kept everything running smoothly under very difficult circumstances thankyou alison

The food was great, and the service was excellent, especially considering that it’s Father’s Day, so the place was quite busy. I will definitely come back here again.

Went to the quiz tonight how good was it? Superb, ate there as well, food was really good and the real ale was lovely, Doom Bar. Damian the quiz master was so jolly and made the night. Staff were good and helpful. Great night. The three Amigos!

Sunday roasts are epic, if you can choose which meat go for the trio, you will not be disappointed

First time coming here and the food was amazing!! I had the lamb and it was cooked perfectly, everything was cooked perfectly and perfect portion sizes. More filling than they look. The puddings were delicious too. The food is definitely worth the price. We wasn’t waiting long either for any kind of service or for our food to come. The pub is absolutely stunning to look at from the outside, it’s stunning on the inside, the staff are so welcoming and polite and the atmosphere was so relaxing and also dog friendly, which is great! Me and my partner really enjoyed it. We definitely will be back and recommending to anyone we know.

Really beautiful pub, driven past it a few times and thought we'd pop in for Sunday lunch. I'm gluten intolerant and Niamh was exceptionally helpful with what I could and couldn't have on the roast dinner. Would highly recommend anyone pop in, plenty of seating in an ambient and cosy environment. We will be back x

Ordered a ribeye and received a tough sirloin steak, couldn’t finish it even though I was starving. Spent nearly £50 for 2 meals wouldn’t recommend the steak.

It’s very expensive for pub grub. The menu isn’t anything special. Tbh I was struggling to find anything on the menu to choose. I mentioned I don’t eat cream then I had to fill in a questionnaire on an iPad. A lot over the top

We have been here several times food and service good apart from our last time on a Sunday when we asked if we could be moved to the front tables instead of being at the back which we find dark and the lady behind the bar muttered to her colleague and gave us a rude stare

The place is beautiful. The setting superb. On the night we visited it started off quiet, but then got very busy. It was apparent to me that they were short staffed, but not once did we feel we were waiting overly long for anything, proving those who were working were efficient and friendly.. The staff were polite, friendly, and professional and despite working so hard, retained a great sense of humour. Although the vegetarian fare was not that extensive, it looked good, was served hot and tasted every bit as good as it appeared. Hats off to the staff.
