The worst sausage roll ever. Something bright pink inside that bore no resemblance to sausage. It made me feel sick for most of the day. Overpriced and truly vile.

Food very overpriced but delicous my low score is because of this horrid women i assume 'manager' that is serving she scowls at you every time shes working and her customer service is shocking not what you want when your the flagship for a company. Its s shame because the rest of the staff are smiley and friendly.

Pork and apple pasties for me used to be Chatwins signature product. Unfortunately the park has been significantly reduced with apple enough to just flavour. Most of the pasty is pastry. Wish they’d keep a generous amount of pork and apple as in the past.

Having walked around the lovely town of Nantwich whilst Camping locally we came across a Saturday outdoor pop up food market. Most of the savoury food was sold out and very expensive. Just as we were about to leave I spotted a Lady with two Chatwin bags! That was it off we went in search to find it was actually right next to where we were 👌Very busy shop but the lovely Staff soon got the queque down. I had a pork and apple roll, oh my lovely! My Wife had the pasty roll which she said was lovely. We took a small porkpie home which was ok, jelly was non existent. Will definitely use again when in town.

We’ve used Chatwins a few times as it’s in a great location in Nantwich. On this occasion we bought Meat and Potato pies. They were that bad they ended up in the bin. Thick dry pastry with a dry tasteless filling. Feels like they’re just resting on their laurels as they get good footfall because of their location. I, for one, won’t be wasting my money with them ever again.

I bought a takeaway coffee to drink in the square (near the Chatwins shop). It was a flat white. I was a little shocked when it costed £3, crestfallen when it was served in a takeaway cup which was too big and then appalled when it just tasted grim. Incredibly it's the same price at the excellent Enzo's an authentic Italian themed cafe-restaurant a few yards away. There I could drink it (and it tastes wonderful) from a proper cup and sitting at a proper table.

Oh goodness me how standard's have dropped . I ve just paid £4.75 for the worst sandwich I've ever eaten a bap with bacon and mushroom, sounds lovely doesn't it however the bacon was dry overcooked and greasy with a frosting of dried salt the mushrooms were like tough sponges, they had clearly sat for a very long time . My lovely memories of a glorious bakers with top of the range delicious goods of my youth are completely shattered.

I have been eating their Premium steak pies for over 14 years and have always thought them one of the best out there, however today (Sat 3/12) after waiting in the long queue, salivating at the prospect of what was to come, I was really disappointed by my offering! Two bites into the pie I pulled out a 7cm piece of gristle that not even Jaws could chew through. Really put me off the thing! It will be a while before I venture into Chatwins Nantwich again.....shame.

Slow, slow, slow. I wouldn't bother going again. Way too slow, and when we were there, there was no real reason for it. There were more staff than customers (infront of us) and we waited about 20 minutes before getting served. Not for us again. In terms of the food, hubby ate, he was happy with it, but could be found in any other similar styled store. Seems a bit overpriced compared to competitors.

Before I get on a rant I have to say the trainee (Lady in trainee badge) who served us was friendly and helpful. The other member of staff (Who I assume was the senior member of staff) could not have been ruder. We waited several minutes to be served, nobody said anything to us in this time (For example we could have been told there was an imaginary queue for regulars who were about to walk in). As our turn came to be served a lady came in from outside the shop and the member of staff said to her "Were you here before them?" (Pointing at us) and then served her. I truly cannot stand this sort of behaviour, is it too much to ask that you serve the people who you know full well have been waiting in the shop for the last 5 minutes right infront of you? The carvery bap was great by the way, but there was already a bad taste in my mouth from the above.

My wife and I popped into the branch in Nantwich Square and when my wife was being served every question she asked about products on offer was met with a huff, tutting and 1 word replies. The assistant had zero interest in the customer in front of her and probably should strongly think about working in a customer facing environment. Strangely this approach of customer service from this branch has been similar on 3 different occasions. The company are lucky that someone like Greggs are not opening up anywhere near to this branch because I think they would lose a LOT of business.

Ive been coming here since I was a toddler so I may be bias, but for anyone I meet outside of Cheshire I always tell them about Chatwins! I come to this particular coffee lounge for breakfast - best thick sliced toast with butter and marmalade. Best pastries, bread and cakes. Pork and apple sausage roll - ultimate favourite. Soup and sandwich lunch deal always good especially during winter for the long days at work. Affordable, local and good quality food for breakfast lunch and take away. Character biscuits are still popular amongst myself and friends and we’re nearing 30! Chatwins remains a loved gem amongst us locals. Finally, the staff are brilliant.

We have had lunch at Chatwins for many years, whenever we have landed in the interesting town of Nantwich. We have always had the filled oatcakes, a speciality of this part of the country, done especially well here. We are gutted to see they have been taken off the "freshened up" menu. Instead, I had delicious home made Thai chicken soup and a coronation sandwich for just £6.75. Manager please take note: put oatcakes back on your menu or next time we visit we will find another cafe. Chatwins has been in the town since 1913. Why mess with what was good, so that you can be just the same of dozens of other cafés?

My wife loves your Multiseed loaf but I would give it to the birds. You can't please everybody with every product but Chatwins have enough variety to please most. One thing I urge you to change is the annoying sign in the Nantwich Square shop. It says form one queue but is by the hot food at the far end so everyone squashes into the back of the shop. OMG. Take a bow. If you like seafood at the highest quality then get your table booked. Attentive staff , lovely setting. (We had a table in the Copper Room). Starter was really good , could have possibly been a bit hotter. But the mains were quite simply amazing. We both had the bouillabaisse that was breathtaking and delicious at the same time. We had the panna cotta to share for dessert, a fairly large portion that was maybe a little over set. But please understand that I am picking fault as being an ex chef. Get it booked, the bouillabaisse is stunning.
