The best restaurants in Cheshire East North West

Just ordered from Deli Alforno for the first time. I ordered the ribs and lasagne and both were delicious and piping hot. Huge portions too! I used the delivery service, which was quick. Special mention to David, a lovely chap, who gave me a ring for further directions (my postcode is a pain in the neck). I've eaten it now, so no photos. Sorry.

Great choice of craft ales and a very pleasant atmosphere in comfortable surroundings

Food very good, lovely decor. However at 3.30/4pm on a Saturday afternoon I don’t appreciate bad language from 3 grown men especially when we have our 9 & 12 year old grandchildren with us. When I raised this with the waitress she simply said she hadn’t heard anything. We are booked to go back next Saturday in a large party including children and I’m very apprehensive about it now. Spoilt the afternoon with the children.

I visited with 3 friends on Monday 19th December for a fabulously fresh festive afternoon tea and a wonderful time. We were warmly greeted into the tea lounge, which was packed to the rafters with a large party and many other tables were taken too. There was a warm and cosy festive feel, with christmas music adding to the great atmosphere. Although the lovely staff were kept very busy, they were happy, smiling and nothing was too much trouble and we were soon seated with a festive drink in hand, which is a lovely idea and makes The Nantwich Tea Lounge afternoon tea stand out from the rest. When our bulging stands of festive goodies arrived at the table, it was very clear that everything was freshly made, with an assortment of sandwiches, which included turkey & cranberry, roast beef & horseradish and cheese & pickle, with a tasty mini sausage roll. Then we started on the layer of beautifully home baked scones with clotted cream & strawberry jam. After that we moved onto our delicately made cakes, which are lovingly created in house, (unlike in other places, where they come straight from the packet) which included a decadent chocolate truffle, a mini mince pie with a soft sponge top, a homemade glass of sherry trifle - which was simply divine. But we were defeated by the gorgeous white chocolate & orange cup cakes and had to box them up to take home. The photo I have posted shows a stand shared between 2. There was loads of goodies and it was all delicious! Without doubt this was an extra special luxurious, delicious afternoon which I would highly recommend and repeat any day of the week. Thank you to the staff, who were so friendly and helpful. If you haven't visited yet, make sure you do!

Went here lots of time and had a fantastic meal every time. Sorry it's closed due to the issues at capital walk. Anyone know if Brad has relocated anywhere?

Great little pub with excellent staff

Had a fabulous lunch with friends for my birthday. What an ABSOLUTE hidden gem this place is! (I recommend that you save space for cake after lunch too, trust me, you'll be glad that you did!) They love dogs, and even have doggie sausages! There's a large outdoor area too. Thanks to all the staff there, they were wonderful. ... And thanks for my birthday candles too (you're never too old). Great Pub and a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. We had drinks their while having a quick meeting upstairs and the staff were really helpful and accommodating.

First time visiting here and such a pleasant tea room in a beautiful setting. The young ladies serving were extremely pleasant and polite. The coffee and cakes were excellent. Would definitely return for a lunch next time.

Always a great place to meet up with friends for coffee and delicious choice of fresh bakes. Everyone is so friendly and make you feel so welcome.

5 star food and service. Every course was a treat for the taste buds that we didn’t want to end! We have visited here many times and can always expect an excellent experience. We highly recommend and look forward to our next visit.

Fantastic, we loved it. The food was absolutely delicious. A short but well done menu. Small restaurant, busy with a great atmosphere and good service.

Came across Chestnut Meats while searching to buy some kid for Easter as my local butchers were extremely unhelpful. The service I received from ordering to delivery was faultless. They were happy to discuss over the phone my particular butchery requirements and the kid was delivered today and it was exactly as I had asked. Excellent looking meat and I can’t wait to prep and cook it this Easter Sunday. I’ll definitely be ordering more!

Lovely amazing place. Had coffee which came with gorgeous biscuit. Take home some of their pastries. Unique place.

Such a nice place with a small menu making everything they do taste fantastic. I’ve never chewed so slowly to maximise the flavours. Well done. Fantastic.
