Absolutely delicious takeaway. Fantastic, tasty food at a fantastic tasty price! Onion bhajis, lamb madras, lamb tikka naaja, mushroom pilau (HUGE portion) AND complimentary poppadoms with a selection of pickles - less than £23.00!! Our first visit, definitely not our last. We WILL be back!

Had a lovely night. Food was to an exceptional although not always piping hot. Staff extremely friendly and attentive. Would definitely go again probably on a Wednesday or Thursday night when your own drink can be taken. Although the 10% service charge is discretionary I'd prefer it's not automatically added and leave a tip of my choosing.

I have been to Sutton Hall a few times and ever time has been a delightful experience, I am vegan and there is a few options for me to eat and they are delicious. Every member of staff are very accommodating especially with the needs of our little baby. I would like to say a special thank you to Neve who has alway gone out their way to be as helpful as possible.

This is the last time I have a take away from here. Everytime before I read the reviews and think I’ve been unlucky but tonight is the last time I repeat the same expensive and disappointing experience. My partner ordered chicken in special southern Thai sauces - honestly it had a few pieces of overcooked chicken in a watery soup, not a sauce, packed out with 2 big pieces of cauliflower and 2 of broccoli to try and make it look like it was worth £18! I had the drunken tofu noodles - smallest portion ever with huge pieces of pepper and greasy tofu to pack it out - it was worth £6 and cost £12. I could go on but I won’t. It is poor quality and over priced.

We had lunch at this restaurant yesterday. The food was delicious, and the dining environment was very pleasant. However, there was a misunderstanding when we settled the bill. As customers from China, we don’t have a habit of paying tips separately (the service charge is usually included in the food prices). Therefore, when we saw a default 10% service charge on the bill, we thought it to be an unreasonable extra charge, so we requested to have this charge removed. However, we did some research and realized that this is often seen as a complaint about poor service. We understand that our actions yesterday may have hurt the server. In fact, the gentleman who served us was very professional and patient, and he kindly took back a dish we accidentally ordered due to misspeaking. I want to apologize to the staff: you provided perfect service, and this was a misunderstanding due to cultural differences. I hope it didn’t cause you any distress.❤️

One of the nicest dining experiences we’ve had in a while , we spend a lot of time eating out across Manchester and the surrounding area , I’d previously visited the Church inn and recently found out about the Roebuck , the service was great really friendly , laidback and attentive, the atmosphere even on a quiet Monday evening was really nice , beautiful decor and cosy country pub vibes, with the star of the show being the food everything we ordered was exceptional and we will be returning with friends and family, my new favourite place to dine and relax.
