Food is fantastic! Great flavours and big portions. Love the Pad Thai from here, but tried most other dishes and are all really good! Thank you. P.s. be warned if you ask for extra spice 🥵

A lovely, quirky cafe with the best coffee in Macclesfield! I had to realistically knock one star off for food, as the menu is pretty small - but that's fine by me, as I always have the Vegan BLT which is delicious! It's got a great bohemian atmosphere with one of the only mixtracks of (quiet) background music that I actually like to listen to! Very comfortable with some terrific artwork on the walls! The cafe staff are always polite and friendly!

The food was delivered on time, it was still hot, large portion and it was delicious. I really enjoyed it.

Always consistent food that’s gluten free and tastes incredible. The delivery always arrives early and the service is impeccable!

Great location, fantastic old building beautifully restored/maintained serving a good range of beers and an ever-changing menu. We only went in for a drink on this occasion but the food looked good.

Got taken out for a birthday meal by my partner here this week. The hospitality from the bar staff, front of house staff and service staff was outstanding. And the food was absolutely beautiful, and even got a surprise birthday plate! Thank you Jackub, Mike & Chris! Xx

The Swan is a stunning country pub placed in a beautiful village. The food, drink, service, and atmosphere never fails to impress us, and neither does the amazing variety and value! It’s one of our favourites and our go-to place!

Great Christmas Lunch! We came here shortly before Christmas to have the seasonal menu and it was really good. Very imaginative dishes offering a new twist to traditional favourites. Service, as ever, friendly and efficient. We’ve been here several times and will keep coming! Thank you The Lime Tree.

Great food nice atmosphere and lovely staff. For starter asking for scallops and prawns well cooked and brilliant dressing. For main course we had stir fried mixed prawns and beef with oysters sauce and mixed meat pad Thai. quite enjoyed I would highly recommend

A fantastic, proper Italian restaurant run by Pepee, we were served by Ellie and Ellis, two friendly, courteous, kind and knowledgeable professionals. Great menu choices, a wood fired pizza oven and daily specials. The food was awesome, well prepared and presented. I had grilled sardines to start and a Tomahawk Pork chop for my main. Great atmosphere with a lovely buzz and good value. Excellent wine list.

The manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. We booked two tables for a total of 10 a week prior and called beforehand requesting for tables next to each other. Although our tables were close, we were refused one large table despite empty tables and chairs and were lied to that a big group is expected. The manager was very unprofessional and discriminatory this evening. There was a lack of enterprising initiative and a willingness to to help and oblige to customer requests. Further we were not served for a long time and our orders not taken until we had to call one of the staff a few times. Whilst I absolutely do not expect a favourable outcome from this review at all, I wish to highlight that this is a restaurant that needs its staff to be trained in professionalism, unconscious bias and discrimination. We have been here many times before and enjoyed the food but I will reconsider visiting again. PS: However I wish to add that despite our bad experience with the manager, we were served well by Sophie once she arrived to take our orders. IN reply to Jane Dowler: Thank you for replying back to my review. I am afraid there seems to be some distortion of facts and I wish to clarify the following. 1. We had to book separate tables a week before as we expected challenges in getting a large table for 5 couples. Paying a deposit was not the issue, as suggested in your reply! 2. We did request for closer tables the day before and were indeed allocated this. Again, I personally made a request for this, rather than one large table as we anticipated that this may not be available. However, we noted that some of the large tables were not occupied during the entire duration of our dinner, but were advised by Irene that a big group'was expected. 3. We had to wait for quite a while before our orders were taken, but once we had ordered, the drinks and food were indeed served promptly. 4. I am not sure of the 'noise'' you mentioned, and we were not asked to keep the noise level down as we were not noisy. 5. Also, I am sorry to say that no derogatory remarks were made by our friends. I guess we can agree to disagree, and the tone and body language and communication from Irene with my friends were clearly not in the true spirit of professionalism.

My absolute favourite restaurant, freshly cooked food, and beautiful wine. Such a friendly team who works and owns it. I have been going for 13 years and still my favourite restaurant my daughter also loves going and requests to go as much as me.
