Really good, freshly-cooked pub food. Decent beers, friendly service and reasonable prices. Lovely old-school, generous puddings too. The menu choice is limited but if that ensures everything is fresh and of a high quality then that's fine by us. Had a great evening meal here with the family and would certainly visit again.

Lovely country pub with stunning views over the Cheshire plain. Excellent service with pleasant and friendly staff. We all enjoyed our shared starters and main course, and were tempted by the puddings which were lovely and beautifully presented. We thought it was all reasonably priced.

A group of us walked to the Coach yesterday for some drinks and an early tea. Adults and children. We sat in the beer garden which was very busy and a great atmosphere. Kids could play on the grass rolling down the hill etc then Emma brought out some toys for them to play with. 9 of us ordered food ranging from adults meals to kids meals and they all came out pretty much at the same time. Couldn’t fault the attentive staff at all. Kids meals £7.50 and that comes with an ice cream or ice lollie. (Super generous portions to). Inside there was a few tables full and people eating also. We shall definitely be returning on another walk very soon. Thanks Coach and Horses.

We had a great experience at the Coach and Horses. We booked for 15. Started off with a drink in the beer garden which has amazing views stretching out to Jodrell Bank to the north and all the way over to the mountains of North Wales to the west. There's a good menu with very reasonable prices. The food was very well cooked and promptly served despite the size of the group. Very friendly service. All areas were clean and well maintained. Can't fault it!

Visited on the spur of the moment, and sat outside enjoying the fantastic view right across the Cheshire Plain, and could not have been made more welcome. The dogs were also made very welcome with a water bowl and some dog treats. The menu is not fancy, but my baked potato with tuna was delicious, and my husband's fish and chips was excellent - the chips were exceptionally good - skin on and really crispy. Our puds were very decadent and delicious - jam sponge and warm choc cake - yum yum. The service was great as well. A very happy lunch out.

We called in because we were passing. What a lovely place this is now. The new owners have clearly thought long and hard about layout, décor etc. My wife had a Malbec which was superb and I had the best pint of Bass I've had in years. We then chose a sandwich with a side portion of chips. Oh my goodness - I had the beef dripping chips and they were divine, absolutely divine. Emma who manages the place is so warm and friendly.

Pleasant walk up from our cottage for the best Sunday lunch around !, excellent value for money for x2 roast beef dinners, drinks & side of cauliflower cheese, home cooked and served hot, vibrant coloured veg, plenty of succulent beef and amazing Yorkies too add! Yummy, the staff here are very polite, attentive and pleasant, cutlery is the cleanest that I’ve used in a restaurant for a long time, thank you for another great meal, until next time….Dan & Lisa x

Not been in here for 10+ years. Our 'usual' local for drinks doesn't care about regular customers anymore. We came here tonight (03/03/23) and couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. This will definitely be our regular pub for drinks and possibly food. Emma and Andy were so welcoming, very chatty and interested to know your background and preferences. Emma even went to the trouble of finding a 'mug' because my partner doesn't like cups for coffee hahaha . I cannot recommend this pub/restaurant enough even though it's our first visit in years. There is also a lovely thoughtful touch in the ladies bathroom which I was highly impressed with (i.e emergency products) which I have never seen offered elsewhere. The pub was spotless. It was cosy and warm. Our party arrived at 10pm for drinks and the staff couldn't do enough for us. It was lovely. We will definitely be back as discussed with Emma and Andy. Thank you both for a great evening , we really appreciate and look forward to the plans you have for the future. We wish you both and your family the best of luck going forward. Thank you so much :)

The Yellow Broom is best described as a blend of pure elegance with a splash of sophistication. The setting is undeniably beautiful, complemented by a warm welcome from the staff, who are clearly well-trained in delivering exceptional silver service. The menu offers a well-balanced selection of cuisine, ensuring there's something to delight every palate. The presentation of the dishes was nothing short of exquisite, and the flavors were simply delightful. The staff were remarkably attentive without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism. The atmosphere and layout of the restaurant were both appealing and comfortable, enhancing the overall dining experience. The Yellow Broom is a truly first-class establishment that consistently maintains high standards. I highly recommend a visit—you will not be disappointed.

We have just had the most wonderful experience at our new favourite pub! Called in on the hop just to get a bite and check it out. Wonderful setting, interior and exterior absolutely beautiful. Staff were wonderful. Quick, really polite and attentive. Food-great selections available on menu. We had Caesar salad and the monkfish. It was first class. Really beautifully cooked and presented. Wine also very nice. Would have probably stayed longer but the annoying scousers complaining put us off! Not your fault the swan, we’ll be back!
