The tasting menu was an amazing meal for the price. The food felt "like home", classically French without the fuss and the service was impeccable and warm.

Had a wonderful meal for two tonight at Don Alberto in Holmes Chapel. We’ve passed many times driving home & finally dropped in. What a fantastic surprise - Lovely interior & ambiance. Well set out with good spacing between tables. Kieron announced he was looking after us. We had a seafood linguini & chicken carbonara mains. We arrived quite late - only an hour before closing but the guys were great & all the food was beautifully cooked, so compliments to the chef. On Kieron’s recommendation I’d sampled their own micro brewery Don Alberto lager & again all good. Pristine white cloth napkins was also a big tick. Kieron looked after us really well. Nothing too much trouble. He even gave us the details of the restaurants Spotify background music. When U drop in on a place & it’s this good it makes the evening. It’s a great little find for us & we should’ve called in years ago.

Visited here yesterday with my husband for a lovely Sunday roast. We had the Sunday sharer which was absolutely delicious we were served by the wonderful Josh c who was very helpful and polite. Will definitely be returning 10/10😊

Great food but disappointing service. Being asked “are you in a rush?” when following up on my food order. The food itself is great, but teach your staff to be kind.

Lovely, quaint little Tea Shop. Nice atmosphere, ok value for money. Went for afternoon tea but found it a bit 'standard', nothing great for the price compared to other places. Presentation was nice though.

Popped in for a pint. Quality beer & excellent atmosphere.

Visited with grandson last week and found the service surly and slow. No real engagement with us and the coffee was weak and not hot enough despite mine being served black. Disappointing as we live locally but will not be returning in a hurry sadly.

Only our second visit here, and we have enjoyed the food immensely both times. Authentic Greek restauranct with authentic Greek food. Everything freshly cooked and friendly efficient staff. This time we chose the Filotimo Mezze platter. It was delcious, but far more than we could eat. We have had the remains boxed and it will be our meal tonight ... there's more than enough left! Loved the vine leaves, the sausage and the meat skewers ... but it was all so very good.

Tuesday night and the place is rammed! Lovely service, great food and buzzing atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back to try something else. Menu had plenty to choose from. Looking forward to the doughnuts. Hope you have them next time lads 🙏👨‍🍳 Thank you for looking after me and my wife. 🙌

One of our favourite traditional pubs. Great cask ales and wide selection of all beverages. Dog friendly. Excellent pie night deal on a Wednesday. Pies were delicious (steak and kidney and a cheese and leek). Fabulous fresh cooked chips and gorgeous veg. Thanks team as always!

We found this by accident on holiday from Minnesota a number of years ago. On our next holiday this was a destination spot again. Very welcomed being strangers and left feeling like family. Stayed at farm b&b couple miles away. Also marvelous. Hope it will open again. We are planning one more U.K. visit and this is on our list!!!

Really lovely place - very affordable for the quality of food. Drinks are reasonably priced too. Wide variety of food on offer and a changing menu to keep it fresh. It’s becoming a regular for us!
