We've just moved to Congleton and on our first night out we decided to visit this place and we definitely did the right thing. Beautiful décor with an extensive menu and well trained and attentive staff.We certainly can't wait to visit again!

Bottomless brunch was very good, and the the service from Gracie was very good and never had to wait for a drink, the food was delicious, would recommend!

Another great evening at Reuben’s Congleton, never had a bad meal there right back from the time it was Reuben Stubbs. The evening we went, the grill wasn’t working (which we were notified about beforehand & invited to cancel if we wanted). My friends & I took this as an opportunity to try one of the chicken options & we weren’t disappointed. I had the Mac Daddy nacho chicken burger, which was delicious & definitely one to remember. The Eton Mess sundae was the perfect finish. As always, the staff were friendly & helpful, especially while dealing with customers & a malfunctioning grill!

Had a sports event up in Congleton and wanted some dinner afterwards so booked in advance at Reuben’s, which was selected based on other Trip Advisor reviews. Nice location down a quiet side street and easy to find. All the staff working there were really friendly and happy, and made us feel very welcome. We both went for Reuben’s Roast (with it being a Sunday!) and the food was amazing and plentiful. Nice selection of beers and wine to top it all off. A really pleasant meal out at a lovely location, and if we’re ever up this way, would definitely visit again.

When the same family has run the business for years,then you know its got to be good ,you get what you expect, A good service, its Priced Right for the the food,A good selection of burgers with some nice sides, Stinky burger and sweet potato fries,corn cobbletts was great. Wednesday half price burgers, unbeatable! This is the third time we have been for Wednesday half price burgers. The food is faultless and the staff are always really friendly and helpful. The only thing I would say is it is a bit cold especially at the front of the restaurant, but we were prepared with big jumpers so it isn't a major problem. Can't wait to go again!

This is an excellent American themed restaurant with a Cheshire twist. The ambiance is great with brilliant, well trained and attentive staff. There is an extensive and creative menu, copious meals and great drinks. The theming is quirky and charming.

We had dinner here after our visit to Biddulph Grange Garden National Trust. Service was fast and friendly, atmosphere was fun and friendly. This is also a family/kids friendly place.

We visited the congeleton venue on Saturday night for my hubbys birthday. The burgers were the best we have ever had and have already recommended it to all our family and friends. Very excited to come back again soon and make it our regular treat night. Service was great, fast and with a smile. Can’t fault it in anyway. Thank you guys. We ate in the restaurant, we didn't stay in the Airbnb. The food was beautiful. I had a combo meal an my husband had a Thia combo. Both were amazing

The food in here never disappoints 😋 the pork ribs were tender and delicious and the brisket salad was plentiful and tasty. I can recommend the Inception beer as well.

Although the review listing is for a hotel we called for food and I have to say it was one of the best burger meals I've ever eaten. The restaurant has a great atmosphere with cool mixed decor. We sat at the front of the building which has a pub type aesthetic. The staff were super friendly and had us seated and with drinks served in super fast time. We ordered a good selection of meals with chicken, beef and vegan items. They were all served nice and quickly and presented excellently. The meals were all cooked to perfection with the beef burgers served medium (again perfect). Spice and seasoning levels on all of the meals was spot on and everyone thoroughly enjoyed everything. Four adult meals with sides, 3 desserts and a few drinks each came to just over £100 which was very reasonable for the quality of food. Overall an excellent dining experience and one I will be repeating in the near future.

Really very disappointed. Firstly front of house, the floating bar was sticky with remnants of beer that just needed wiping up or bar mats to be used. We were sat in the rear, the toilets are located off this area, a terrible sewerage smell entered the restaurant every time someone opened the door and when I used them, whilst clean there is obviously a problem with the drains. Decor : crikey it’s a country mile from the old Reubens, tacky cheap and failed electric lighting in the back. Food : disappointing, I totally get that restaurants need to reinvent themselves to keep the public engagement but I truly believe the Reubens philosophy has somehow lost its way. If burgers are your thing, then fab but if you are expecting a restaurant of a particular quality then this won’t be your thing. Reubens has been in this town for the last 40 years when I was a teenager all the way to now even hosted our children’s christening there. Through Covid we loved the home delivery of delicious burritos and nobody could beat their flatbreads with salad , chicken and steak kebabs but sadly having moved to the Burger and bbq menu I’ve visited twice but after this last visit I won’t be returning. Very sad

Came to Reuben’s for a meal out with my boyfriend and just wow! Best burgers we’ve ever had, can’t believe we’ve never been before! The service from neave was amazing, really made us feel looked after. Can’t wait to come back!

My friends and I went for a meal at Reubens, it was fantastic! Upon entry we were greeted with a lovely young male server, Toby. I don't have enough good words to say about this young man, he made our night. The cocktails and burgers were some of the best we've ever had, the food came quickly and was delicious. Thankyou for a fab night!

Located within Congleton town centre, this establishment serves some of the best food on the grill. I came here with a party of 12 for my stag do and the food, drinks and service was outstanding. Since then I have returned with my in-laws family and once again provided an incredible experience. 100% recommended to anybody considering Ruben's.

Great room, good size and well equipped with added extras like pastries and cereals in room which was greatly appreciated.

Check in was simple and the front of house and housekeeping staff were super friendly. Our room, room 4, was spacious and beautifully designed and maintained. The bathroom was also big. The room had everything you needed and also included complimentary cereal and breakfast bars, and an extensive range of teas and coffees. The hotel is well placed and you access the rooms via the rear, beautifully lit, courtyard after hours. A great room in a great location.

The 1st night me and my husband have been out in a year after having our daughter. 20:45 we were told we were not able to have 2 burgers eat in or takeaway. I absolutely love their food but not great service in this instance. Understand they are busy but a takeaway would have been fine and would have been willing to wait. It’s sad as enjoyed their food ordering takeaways through lockdown.

Family outing, 7 of us including children. Booked a table on a Friday @ 5pm as this venue gets busy. Lovely atmosphere, friendly, kind staff, excellent "Smokehouse" type food. Will definitely be returning.

The food was amazing the only comment i have was it felt very packed and i couldnt hear my partner due to volume of noise from other tables we all just felt abit to ckose to other groups.

Incredible food! I've been meaning to return after enjoying the place so much last time and it even managed to even supersede my previous visit! The 'Dirty Burger' was amongst the best I've ever had (and I've had MANY). Delicious pulled brisket and pork which was bathed nicely in the sauce. It was also lovely and tender. The beef patty had great flavour too. The relish and fresh lettuce were great additions too. Pickles are always a must for me on burgers but I was able to overlook that fortunately! Fantastic chicken tenders with a really crisp nacho crumb coating. I opted for garlic butter & parmesan and highly recommend. The sweet potato fries were superb again. Light and crispy. Plenty of them too. Refreshing heap of house slaw to complete my delightful feast. The venue has a great feeling and the staff are a pleasure. The lady serving me in particular provided excellent service. I'd be sure to say there can't be a better place for burgers around the area. Previous visit: Highly recommend! Me and a friend had dinner at Reubens and were impressed with the extensive menu, friendly staff and value / prices. We'll definitely be back, the 4/5 was only because the main course took a long time, about 45mins but the rest was served quickly and it was nice once it turned up.

The food and drink was EXCELLENT as always. The service by BECKY was FANTASTIC.

Arrived 6.05pm food served at 7.10pm - too long Waitress not sure what different IPAs were like but did find out I ordered Chef Special. Thought I might struggle to finish it but did so easily. Chilli on my plate was cold! Sat next to toilet door which smelled - they need a good extractor fan in there Complained as overall disappointed but will give 1 more chance as actual food was very good and manager seemed genuinely concerned about our experience

Absolutely fantastic service from all 3 staff members, Sophie, Tiff and Toby. Food of the highest quality as always and refreshing beverages to go with. It was also my birthday and I received a complimentary ice cream with chocolate sauce! I will definitely be returning, brilliant establishment all round.

When I spoke to the waitress she suggested we were lying & the sauce was fine- rude- I do not usually complain- I have worked in many restaurants & know it’s a tough job but the service was rude- I could not eat the ribs- been a few times in the past & ordered takeaway- will not be back 🤢 ruined my hubby’s birthday

Ordered a takeaway from here, was disappointed to be honest, chicken burger was bland, delivery took nearly 2 hours and when it arrived it was all squashed and lukewarm, when I rang, I was just told it's been a busy night!

Update: we visited again on the 22/09/23 and were slightly disappointed. While the food was still nice, fries and coleslaw were not included with the burger like on previous visits. Also we waited around 55 minutes for our food to arrive. The burgers were still very good however. Really good food. Service was good, staff were very accommodating. We had the pork belly bites and chicken tenders for starter. The pork belly was soft and flavourful and came with crackling. The chicken tenders were served with a choice of sauce - honey and soy sauce was extremely tasty. For main we each had a burger, they are not shy on portions. If you can try the burger of the week you should. Will be returning. Thank you to the staff also.

This is by far the best diner grill food and unique ales around Congleton/stoke. Always trying to make it in time if were close. The ribs are near perfect.

Booked a table for saturday evening, found the staff to be really friendly with a good selection of beers to choose from. The food came quickly and was good quality, the buffalo wings were great and the brisket loaded fries were the star if the show, a definite 10/10! The burgers were pretty good but the mac and cheese was slightly overcooked and needed a thicker roux. Would definitely revisit in future, especially for more loaded fries

Everything was incredible, best burger I’ve had in years. The new menu is brilliant. I had the Thai Guy burger, seasoned fries and Jalapeño poppers with washed down with a pint of Bear town Beer. I’ll be back next week!.

Reubens friendly staff welcomed us in our of the rain. I was there with a party of 15 and the food came out together and was unbelievably fresh. I had the boss man burger and the Donner meat was proper and not the take away kind. Chips were piping hot and the drink selection was fantastic.

Our room was absolutely lovely, stylishly furnished, with thoughtful extras such as a rotating fan and small boxes of cereals. The only issue we experienced (which wasn't really an issue) was how slowly the water drained in the shower. But no accidents were had. Slept very well as the beds were so comfy. Definitely will be returning.

I still love this place, I've been coming here for 20 years, a few mishaps on my last visit isn't enough to put me off. The food is great and refreshingly different for the area.

We came for Father’s Day, a bit of a wait for food but fabulous service and the roast was to die for! Everything was so tasty and would highly recommended

After being suggested Reubens I had to go give them a try, needless to say I was really very impressed with the quality of the food and the service. Both Tom and Sean were excellent and really made our experience a good one. We will be back again in the not so distant future.

Was recommended by my boss to go here and I was not disappointed! The garlic cheese fries were cheesy and delicious and my stinky pig burger was top tier! Our food came out quickly and well presented! Tom was very polite and helpful with menu...

Amazing wings, not a fan of the ribs myself but that maybe just my tastes as the meat was certainly very tender.

Had a takeaway on Friday night, absolutely delicious! The burger was incredible, as were the wings! Salt and pepper fries with the burger! Delivery was quick and hot!
