What a wonderful discovery this is! It feels as if one has stepped into an authentic Italian shop, with an impressive array of high-quality products and delicious food offerings. I shall certainly make a return visit in the near future.

Came for lunch. Some of the best food I've had. Had moussaka and tried the falafel and both were stunning. Wide range of foods available to buy aswell.

I have driven past this establishment a number of times and seen that it stocks a decent variety of whisky and is much closer to home than other whisky shops. I finally decided to pop in the other day and see how the shop's selection fared compared to my usual whisky merchants in Knutsford and Chester (both excellent with brilliant customer service). I saw a product I was interested in purchasing, however, when I asked what the price wad (there was no label and no shelf price) the owner informed me that there was no set price and may be over £100- it would depend! He also asked me if I was purchasing the whisky to collect or drink (with much respect, I feel this is none of his business, although I will say I purchase whisky to drink and enjoy...). The owner seemed uninterested in making a sale and after giving these blunt remarks he wandered off to the back of the shop never to be seen again. This experience left me very perplexed and disappointed. I understand whisky prices can fluctuate due to supply/demand etc. but I would suggest it is the owner's responsibility to be aware of such price fluctuations and price his stock accordingly and competitively. In my previous experiences in similar establishments good customer service is one of the key drivers of sales - a positive, friendly and knowledgeable whisky merchant who gives sage advice and doesn't come across as wanting to rip the customer off will always be more successful and this was sorely lacking on this occasion. On this experience, all I can say is I won't be visiting this store again in future and will stick with the far better service in other stores. This review does not include the deli/restaurant - perhaps the owner may be providing a better experience to customers in this part of the business but I can only comment on my experience.

Beautful deli with a huge selection of interesting and beautifully presented foods and drinks. The owner was so Friendly and made me feel so welcome. I bought a selection of dips, falafel, meatballs, hummous etc. everything was sooo delicious! Highly recommended. Will definitely be back.

Very disappointed. The deli itself is a treasure trove of products. I was looking for something in particular on my first visit and the owner was helpful. I purchased a good bottle of whisky on his recommendation. On the second visit, we were browsing and the owner seemed distracted. He wasn’t very friendly so we purchased and left. The third visit was our last. I was looking for a particular spirit which he gruffly said he didn’t stock and I should get it on the internet. That was the total of the interaction as he walked away. Therefore, we won’t be troubling him again.

The food is lovely and shopping is a wonderful experience, especially when you get a glass of wine or espresso while you're shopping!❤️

You only have to walk through the door to fall in love with the place. We stayed in for food this time aswell and it was delicious and the service was brilliant. A very intimate little place and we loved it for valentines day. I've been coming to this place since I was a young boy as I collected a bagel on my way to school and over 20 years later I'm still coming back, I would jiggly recommend popping in

What an absolute gem. One of the best delis I have ever seen with a fabulous stock range, great food and coffee and lovely staff. A must visit place.

What a lovely experience this was...small bistro style set up, fantastic freshly prepared food which was so delicious. Wine chosen for us by the host was lovely. The shop has so many different and unusual goods in it, you could end up spending a fortune! Definitely worth a visit.

Returning after over a decade, I was really excited to visit. The food was very good. However, there was no effort made to be polite or offer any service.

This place is an absolute hidden gem - fantastic food, service and surroundings. Just wish there was more time to check out the deli part too - it looked amazing !!!

Friendly and stocked to bursting with great European food: baklava, canoli, tiramisu to name but 3. Great pre-made meals ( ox cheek, tagine, moussaka). Without even mentioning the Scotch...

Why oh why has it taken me so many years to actually come in? Wonderful selection of food from round the world, the coffee beans are amazing, turkish delight was delicious, girl friend loved the olives and the blackberrt cheesecake was to die for! Thank you both!

Great little deli, plenty of tapas style foods to buy. Good wine selection. A very helpful ,charming owner. He even gave my partner a coffee and Turkish delight while she shopped. Well worth a visit if in the area.

The food, the drinks, the desserts 😋 are all great, all served by lovely staff! Dine in or take away options available The only downside is the bread runs out, but that's because it's made fresh ( the smell from there is to die for in the morning), which is just the best!

We were looking for somewhere to eat in the area and expected to find a nice pub of which there are several. However, we read the menu and reviews of Park Lane with some surprise - Armenian restaurant! - booked and turned up. Fabulous, gourmet, freshly home cooked food, not too many items on the menu but nicely balanced. Our chosen dishes were beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned and delicious. Service was just right. I asked for a small glass of white house wine as I was driving and was given half a bottle to help myself from for the same price as a small glass! Next time, I’m not driving!

Absolutely lovely little shop. Food and drink products available are amazingly delicious. Small seating area inside to eat/drink at. Some products are made there fresh as well and it honestly reflects in the taste. Packaged up lovely so make great gifts or just a lovely treat for yourself. Good range to choose from. It is abit expensive but worth every penny. Support local small businesses.

What a fantastic place. The food was delicious - I enjoyed a fantastic meal with friends. The deli was an Aladdin's cave of all sorts of wonderful things. Good service too. So I will definitely head back for another meal there.

Exquisite deli and gift shop with a truly excellent selection of foods. Vast array of wines and spirits for all tastes. We bought a delicious butterscotch rum for our son. So good! Simply the best service too - so friendly and happy to chat.

Surprising and fabulous find while waiting for RAC to rescue us. Very grateful to have broken down just outside this remarkable deli. Had a “light” lunch and glass of wine and shopped loaned of goodies in the deli.

If your looking for something a little different then this is the place to go. After visiting for the first time last week I will definitely be going back. The patè is the best I've tasted in a long time

This is the first time going to the deli although Iv lived in Sandbach nearly a year, It was a great experience, large portions and the platter starter of meats was more than enough for 2 , good wine selection reasonbly priced and the mains were delicious, hadnt much of a clue about armenian food but the dishes were deliicious again large portions. It was a quiet night but al the food was cooked fresh, I will defvitely be going back and taking the family, its a treasure of a place.

Wonderful Deli. An alladins cave of tempting and interesting treats. The owner is helpful and friendly so fabulous service. I noticed that they also have a small bistro too which I hope to try very soon. I highly recommend this place.

Lots of lovely wines and food to choose from and I had a beautiful meal. Service was great once seated, but I did wander around the shop for a while looking for someone to help me and had to ask for a menu once seated. The beautiful food was worth the wait.

We had booked a table for dinner for 4 people. On arrival the owner gave us a friendly greeting and after showing us to the table invited us to choose wine from the selection in the shop. The food was excellent, we were not rushed and service was very good.

We have visited Park Lane Deli for years whenever in Cheshire. We ALWAYS go there, even if short on time. The owner and his family could not be more helpful. The variety of food he offers is exceptional and the range of wine and spirits is phenomenal. Tasting samples are always offered if you are unsure. We were late leaving Sandbach to drive to Lincoln, but had to fill a basket. I had to turn down a glass of wine as I had to drive. The free coffee or fresh juice every time we visit is a great welcome. This beautiful little deli is the best I have known in over 40 years. Brilliant!

Popped in for a Tuscan sausage, walked out with half the Mediterranean... What a wonderful, friendly & knowledge little eatery to stock up on some truly fantastic products.. I almost wish places like this were a secret but you must try this...

Had an amazing lunch. Friendly service. Felt very safe and comfortable.

Fed up with the usual pub fare or Indian/Chinese we decided to try this lovely little restaurant. The meal and service were faultless. To start we shared kibbeh and baba ghanoush both of which were sublime and followed with beautiful oxtail and rabbit dishes. The portions were so generous we were unable to finish and the leftovers were packaged to take home. Puddings defeated us but we took home some baklava to enjoy the following day. The food and particularly the wine were all competitively priced and we are already planning our next visit.

Always has a great selection of deli foods and high quality wines and spirits. Also have great cakes and all sorts of high quality delicatessen.

This deli shop sells delicious foods of high quality. I love their chilled ready made dinners & salads which they make on site. Lots of nice options for vegetarians - I've tried many chickpea, bean, cheese dishes which have all been amazing. They also make heavenly desserts like cheesecake & baklava. You can get pastries, bread, wine, whisky & luxury items to gift. The shop owners are very nice too so I always feel good after shopping here! (I hope the restaurant can open again soon post covid.)

I have shopped here for over 20 years. The patisseries are to die for. They have a good selection of interesting exotic lovely delicious mouth watering food. They sell a lovely mixture of things. If you are travelling on the M6 J17 it is a quick pit stop and better than the motorway services to get a few things for the journey. Also come to Sandbach the town is lovely and pick up a picnic at Park Lane deli.

Incredible selection of otherwise hard to find foods, including lots made by the owners using traditional Armenian & Persian recipes. Never had anything from here that wasn't super tasty! There is even a smart seated area for enjoying a meal in store. One of the gems of Sandbach.

Amazing range of stock including wine, beer and malt whisky. Loads of excellent food to purchase including wonderful cakes. They also have a restaurant. Oh, and they do superb coffee.

A great deli, with a spread of foods from across the continent. You won't find these things anywhere else in town. Has ~ 12 covers for evening meals, with the star being any bottle from the shop at retail price plus a small amount for corkage!

We love this deli with its great food and original gifts. Every corner is crammed with wonderful sights and smells. Wonderful to be given a coffee whilst you browse; a real gem.

The food is wonderful, the portions generous, and for what you are getting, the prices are negligible. I dont hesitate to recomend it to anyone.

We called last night without a booking and was greeted in a friendly and welcoming way to a table in a small restaurant area. Other customers soon followed making a pleasant atmosphere. We ordered barrata as a starter which was a lovely creamy cheese with a beautiful herby pesto and basil base. We then had the ox cheek and Goris. The ox cheek was delicious and melting in the mouth with a rich sauce and creamy mash and spinach. The Goris was so tasty and the pasta drenched in a beautiful savoury sauce. The pork hock meat was superb. There was a nice range of drinks to accompany the meal. We were too full for a pudding but there was a lovely selection. We followed this meal with a wander around the deli and bought some lovely produce including some cannolli ( a sweet pudding) to take home and enjoy later. We will certainly go again as I want to try so much more off the menu and can highly recommend the Parklane Deli.

Fantastic Selection of Italian & Deli food !

Revisited this wonderful deli yesterday for the first time in 14 years. It is still filled to the brim with amazing food, staffed by charming, delightful, passionate people, and all beautifully presented. Worth a long journey.

Food was fabulous. Lots of choice too. We hadn't booked and called in on the off chance. They were totally booked up but found a small table outside. A delightful evening and lovely friendly staff

My wife and I came here when travelling from London to the Lake District and were very pleased we stopped here for lunch. It’s a small restaurant (about 18 seats) to the side of their delicatessen. While there is nothing fancy about the restaurant, it was clean and the food and service were good. We haven't eaten Armenian food before and some dishes were particularly delightful. Best dish we had was Dedoum - a treacly yam and tahini dip that came with complimentary (and very tasty) bread The Eggplant Crackers were a lovely mature flavour and texture (but I was surprised they were not crisp like a cracker - see photo) , as well as the Chanka (a combination of peppers, red onion, chick peas and olives with a Mediterranean dressing.

We called in on the off chance to eat. Although they’d officially stopped serving food 20 mins before we arrived they offered us a table and said it was no problem. Had an absolutely wonderful meal - we both had the delicious Ox Cheeks. So tender! We’ll definitely be back. Their take out meals are wonderful too.

It's a place you need to go to if you are a foodie.

Me and my partner having been wanting to visit here for a nearly a year now but never got round to it - we finally went last night with parents and we regret not going sooner! As soon as you enter the shop a glorious smell hits you and all the food looks incredible, you then get taken to the small section on the side that has the tables for the restaurant. The menu had plenty of choices and all the food we ate was incredible (I especially recommend the eggplant crackers) so we ended up having three courses and were utterly stuffed by the end of it. Service was really relaxed and friendly and all the food came out at nice intervals. Will definitely be back for more soon!

A Friday evening meal before going to a concert.Great concept to be able to either select from the menu or go and find a dish in the deli, choose it and it's prepared for you.The same thing happens with the wines as well. Loved it!The whole experience is laid back and relaxed. The food of course is great with loads of interesting choices.
