I recently visited Istanbule cafe and was thoroughly impressed. The food was amazing, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The environment was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal or a casual hangout. Highly recommend!

We've ordered from here many times over the past few years. Because it is a small business in Handforth we do try to support them where we can. Also their food is nice.

The food was nice, and they served Halal chicken for those looking for halal food. The portion was good size, and the price was not on too costly.

Lovely little independent business! Currently enjoying a nice solo lunch here. Nice vibes, kind servers, good coffee. Also the bread for my fish finger butty is so fresh. Very delicious meal will definitely be coming back.

I always order from them and they’ve got nice food but today when I’ve received my order it was hair in my food I asked for the replacement but they said their kitchen is close but site was open and still taking order!! I am so disappointed this time!!

Ordered a takeout from this cafe. I ordered a scrambled egg and salmon bagel, and I received a bacon and scrambled egg bagel. I called the cafe to inform them of this. Their reply was, as it was so early in the morning, they did not have any salmon prepared, and the chef substituted it with bacon. I had no call to tell me this. They assumed I liked bacon. They then said that they would do a fresh order for me, this time with salmon. When the food arrived, it was ok. As I got to the end of my meal, I nearly swallowed, what appeared to be a piece of plastic. The meals are overpriced for the cheap ingredients they use. My partner also ordered the Cajun chicken, and the portion size was ridiculous, hardly any chips. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Was around the area, not local to my regular Turkish Cafe - Mediterranean in Whaley Range and thought I’d give this place a go. So disappointing, completely lacks authenticity. Witnessed my hummus being taken from a fresh tub of supermarket hummus. Along with my pesto from the jar. All these things are ok, as long as the price reflects and there’s a little bit of love going into the preparation which there was a complete lack of. A member of staff came in from outside and immediately began preparing food, which turned my stomach. I wasn’t asked if I wanted salt on chips or any sauce. - those little added extras go a long way when it comes to hospitality. My local cafes are much better, I think it’s time this cafe did some market research and rethought their approach to the Turkish cuisine that they offering. Won’t be returning.

Poor quality sausages and products used plus over cooked, iv give them 3 changes (more fool me) and every time it has been disappointing! don't waste your money! (Especially being as exspencive!!! as they are )I certain won't be again!! If I could give zero stars I would

It's not good, unless you like cheap everything. bakebeans that are even further watered down then they were until there like soup . coffee that tastes bad , and getting the wrong change.

It's okay, it's tired and needs decorating, kitchen is very clean but the restaurant area , walls , floors kirting boards etc looks not in their best when sat inside Staff very pleasant and my food was nice

Returned after, oh at least 4 years, food and service excellent as always. Only downside was place needs a lick of paint and floor needed a clean, but I could of just gone in after a busy period

Amazing place and amazing value. I go here every weekend for their Big Club sandwich and it is very tasty. Vegetarian friendly with several different type of teas, coffee and shakes. Deffo worth a try..

Ordered online food came cold. Asked for sausage on toast more like soggy bread. Also got 2 sausage and cheese barm sausage was over cooked and not enough cheese.

Really nice cafe. I had a good bacon & Brie baguette. Coffee always good. Good service. Not to expensive.

Poor customer service. Lack of knowledge of basic cafe running. Entered the cafe at approx 11.30, a young girl and older woman taking orders, ordered egg and bacon on toast with a coffee to take out. Waited for a while for it to come out (there was nobody else in). Then I was handed my order but no coffee, I questioned the where the coffee is and they looked at me like I was stupid but then checked the order and made the coffee. I took it home and realised it was just egg on bread. No bacon and not on toast. Tried to call, no answer and no email to contact hence this review. Disappointed won’t be returning as always mistakes every time, this is the last straw.

Each time going in they have put milk in my coffee and then try saying I asked for it and I am Lactose intolerance

Been here a few times chicken baguette very nice chicken pasta very very bland. Unfortunately 1 staff member was dishonest as ordered a extra portion of chips but tried to get around it by saying they have put them within meal, which I challenged her about and shown her the portion which she didn't want me to look at. She then conceded and asked chef to cook another portion which was half the size I got a day or 2 ago. Very disappointed as the meals here aren't cheap and to blatantly lie looking me in the eyes over a £2 portion of chips is shocking very dishonest and will not be going back, and also found hair in meal just as I finished!!

Really lovely food, on time and polite service. I actually ordered on Just Eat. When the lady came to the door even though a person I support was alittle rude to her she was so nice and understanding. I look after people with learning difficulties and she reacted really well. Thankyou for the lovely brunch

My son had the mega breakfast and it arrived piping hot. I ordered the tuna melt and was just expecting a sandwich but it came with chips and a salad. The food tasted very fresh. I will definitely be ordering from here again. Great value for money and really friendly service.

Food is good and the prices are reasonable

Went for English breakfast. Place was empty at 9am. Food was just warm, warm beans, cold tomato, weird looking sausage, cold mushrooms. Didn’t eat it, wasn’t asked why. In fact nobody asked if all ok, we were ignored. Place was dirty, chairs need a clean, filthy wi fi lead on table.No wonder it was empty, we won’t be back .

Used to go regularly, not been for a while, what happened in the meantime? Lunchtime used to be busy, today was literally empty. We sat down and literally within seconds was asked what we wanted, perhaps we could look at the menu first? The two young girls at the counter had little idea, no you don't make a cappuccino like that, a normal coffee with a couple of spoons of semi frothy milk put on top. No one else came in the whole time we were there at 1pm. Unfortunately it seems word has got round that it has gone downhill. Such a shame, would much prefer to support a local business than costa, but we'll not be returning. Ps needing to use a calculator to work out the change from a tenner for £7.80 is worrying.

Friendly staff.. but been in here a few times and had hair in food 4 times.. really not good.. over priced cans of drink.. food is average.. but hairs in food has become a joke so don’t eat here any more.. should be wearing hair and beard nets but seem not to care that hairs get in all the meals.. think it only has good reviews as it’s the only cafe in handforth paddock..

Took my Dad who is up from the south coast for Christmas for breakfast. Very busy but food was outstanding full breakfast and toasted sandwiches. Would recommend and will be back for another breaky.

Went for a light lunch with my 92 year Mum...ordered a BLT+chips (to share) and a large coffee and a glass of tap water... waited almost 30 mins - the bacon was so hard/overcooked in the sandwich my Mum couldn't eat it - even I had a problem with my younger nashers!! (think it had sat there a while, and was overcooked!! and toast was even somewhat 'crispy'), then overcharged by 30p (did they charge for tap water??). The waitress was lovely...but unfortunately let down by the kitchen...not sure I will try again. A pity...is very local to me and seems popular.

I often pass by this cafe whilst driving to work or on my way back home, and its always busy, so I said this morning, its time to try it out Well, I did this Saturday and happy to report it was a GOOD experience and I'm pleased with the service and quality , the portion was generous and tasted good I would recommend this cafe and I'm sure you will enjoy it I sat outside and the nice weather helped

I come here quite regularly.The food is always cooked well and piping hot.The prices are affordable and staff always friendly.There is a varied selection of items on the menu.I can recommend it.Doesn't look much decor wise but don't let this deter you.

What a find!! If you want a 5* breakfast go for the scrambled egg and bacon bagel - perfectly cooked, very reasonably priced and polite and friendly service. This is the second year we've been for a breakfast after a festival and there were 2 tables of 8 and 9 hungry ladies - no panic, no hassle and nothing was too much trouble. People who put on bad reviews need to give it another visit... (and also have spelling lessons!)You won't be disappointed!
