Called in halfway round a walk in the freezing cold. Friendly chap who made us an excellent couple of lattes. There was some great looking cake but we were eating later. Warm and cosy interior, I could definitely spend more time in here.

Great for restorative coffee, home made cake, creamy hot chocolate and local micro brewery cask ales.. Need I say any more? A delightful, cosy bar/cafe. You are in for a real treat!

Went in first time whilst waiting for a train and having a little time fancied a coffee. Service was friendly and the coffee was excellent. They also do takeaway if you need to catch a train. Selection of cakes fabulous as well. Really cosy, quirky place which is very welcoming. Returned on the same evening after disembarking the train and enjoyed an excellent G & T! Great selection and nice ambience in the bar. Service excellent and welcoming! Great for walkers coming off the Macc Canal, gritstone trail or the lines! Will definitely visit again.

Called in during a bike ride from Warwickshire to Manchester. Lovely beer from a local brewer and a nice piece of cake. My only regret is I wanted to stay longer.

This is a chic little bar just outside congleton. Just off the beaten track, but easy enough to get to and no problem parking. There's a good range of beers, wines and spirits on offer, that aren't badly priced. If it looks full downstairs, there is an upstairs room too, so don't be put off by that. The "cellar" is also upstairs, making an interesting feature. The only thing I'd comment on is that it was very cold inside, to the point that we left earlier than planned, because we were uncomfortable. Don't give Wonky Pear a miss because of this, but you may want to wrap up warm :-) So guys.... crank the heating up, and it'll be a 5 star review from us for certain!

The wonky pear is great. Not the biggest place, but decent selection of Ales and drinks, table service and very friendly staff. It's such a welcoming place that you can always get talking to people. Take your dog in, and both the staff and most of the customers are very dog friendly too. It's a great little bar. Recommended

I used the offer to use as a workspace with unlimited coffee and an alcoholic beverage to finish the day off. The bar is well designed with a great range of drinks and great friendly staff, it even has a bakery next door if you fancy a sandwich. But beware if you do plan on working, i managed to time my visit with the local Congleton Chronicle staff pretending to have a meeting, i'm not sure what work meeting means downing drinks and being so loud the passengers on the nearby trains could hear them, all this done with very little talk of work. I may of just timed it badly but i'll stick to busier pubs to work in that ironically are quieter. Sorry Wonky Pear it could be a great workspace

I've come in a few times for drinks and always great atmosphere but today I came in to do some work and take advantage of the new £10 deal (unlimited coffee and tea and an alcoholic drink of your choice) and it was great! I've sat upstairs and the wifis just as strong as the coffee and Mike is super lovely and made me feel very welcome and like nothing was too much hassle. I will definitely be back :)

Always a delight to have breakfast here. Proper full breakfast cooked and served to perfection by Holly and Gemma. There's nothing here to complain about at all. Always a warm welcome, and just a pleasure to make time here for a proper breakfast. What more can I say?

We used to regularly walk to Miola for a coffee and can’t believe how it has changed. Outside is a complete dump with tatty pieces of furniture up for sale at ridiculous prices . The elephant and giraffe which have been there for years are still for sale at a ridiculous price. Toilet was filthy with no toilet paper. Chose to sit outside as had children with us and tables were tatty and dirty. The food was overpriced and mediocre. Bacon sandwich with virtually no bacon. Peanut butter on toast which was slimy and greasy. Children took one look and didn’t touch it and can’t say I blamed them. It is so sad as Miola used to be such a lovely place to go to. Can only assume that with Holmes Chapel closing its on the cards that Sandbach will close as well. So disappointing and what a waste of money !
