Felt very welcome, lovely vibe. ( All the staff lovely) Have to say very professional service. It’s rare to find good customer service, especially in this country. 5 Stars I had the Steak and eggs cooked in butter, due my allergies towards seed oil. Perfect ❤️

A lovely spot for lunch with a busy but relaxing atmosphere. Our reserved table was ready for us when we arrived and we were seated straight away. We ordered 3 feta hashes and a quesadillas and they all arrived in good time. The hash dishes appeared slightly on the small side but were incredibly tasty and filling; this is always a positive in my book. The quesadillas were also great and left someone who eats more than they breath feeling full for a long time afterwards. Definitely somewhere to visit if you are in Bollington.

Busy, for a reason. Fab breakfast in a great atmosphere. Make sure to ring and book ahead of time, otherwise it can be hit and miss on a weekend to get a walk in.

Great cafe after a bracing 4 hr hike. Warm and cozy, delicious food and bakes. Had the whipped feta, roasted toms on sourdough. Perfect.

We visited for a leisurely brunch on a weekday. It was busy but we managed to get a table and the staff were very accommodating when we asked to change table. Excellent take on a mcmuffin. High quality food. Really good coffee. Would highly recommend

my brunch was the best one I have had, beating the one I had in the honey pot in Penzance back in 2021. 👍 Also, my table was reserved when I left for Knowles and I presume that was Beyonce and jay z visiting

Beautiful little cafe with amazingly good breakfast

Stopped by for a spot of lunch today while walking in and around Bollington. The cafe is a lovely cosy place with a mix of tables and chairs giving it a nice feel. The menu is good with a nice selection of different meals each one has their own personal spin on it. The food was served nice and quickly and each meal was perfectly cooked. We had a selection of drinks (a few coffees as well as soft drinks for the kids). The coffees were lovely and exactly what we needed on a cold wet day. Staff were very pleasant and overall the cost for the quality of food / drink was spot on. A really nice spot to visit if you're in the area!

Absolutely great place! Mouthwatering food and amazing atmosphere. It was my second time there today and I will absolutely return. Absolutely worth taking the side road when traveling up or down the M6 🥰🥰

Very disappointing, food was truly badly cooked - quesadilla burnt, pancakes very thick, pasty and uncooked in the middle, eggs under cooked and food in general luke warm. Serving time almost 40 mins even though cafe almost empty. Such as shame as we'd come as a treat for our family from a visiting friend and we'd chosen the place based on positive previous visits. Won't be returning. Didn't feel we could address this during the meal as it was a special occasion.

We've been visiting The Green regularly for a while as we live nearby. There have been some great new additions to the menu recently and so we've found ourselves going back much more regularly. Always pleasant service and a nice atmosphere too.

Had an amazing breakfast here today (Wednesday 25th) and could not recommend enough. The two girls serving were lovely, the service was great. Such a great menu and the food was delicious. Plus it’s very dog friendly.

Our first visit to Bollington and we were recommended to visit The Green. Free car park close to the High Street, easy walk, then warmly welcomed by the young staff. Breakfast tea was perfect and my latte was warm and made with lovely coffee. Poached eggs on toast for my wife ….done to perfection; my McMuffin was excellent with bacon, hash, sausage patty, fried egg…..will try the black pudding version next time :) Friendly service and attention throughout from the young staff. On a Saturday morning, we chose to have breakfast at this lovely cafe in the equally lovely small town of Bollington. When we arrived just after opening at 9.30am, things were already busy. Clearly a popular place. The menu contained several options we would have loved to order - how to narrow it down? In the end we each chose one of the pancake options. Yes, there are even four different pancake options to choose from. The first treat was when the coffees arrived. I had asked for a double shot blackberry coffee in a flat white cup, and my coffee was both a good strength and properly hot. They had done a great job of properly heating the cup, which makes such a difference. And then the pancakes came out, a feast for the eyes. We also liked that when we asked for tap water, we were provided with glasses and a bottle of water rather than a tiny glass of water each, as can be the case in these parts.The cafe space itself is very pleasant - downstairs on a corner in a row of stone cottages, with an outlook across the narrow street to stone cottages on the other side. It’s a shame there are cars parked along the street, somewhat ruining the view. And on that subject, there is a free carpark at the top of the street. We followed up our breakfast with a walk up White Nancy and then back along the canal. A very pleasant trip.

We had a fantastic time in this gorgeous cafe. The staff were friendly and very attentive. The food was delicious, clearly quality ingredients that were beautifully cooked and very reasonably priced. A gem in the heart of Bollington. We will definitely return.

Having visited a few times, usually on Saturday / Sunday mornings, each visit is pretty consistent, but unfortunately for the wrong reasons. The service is not great, although being friendly staff, there is something often missing from the order, be it a drink or food option gone wrong, the wait is sometimes pretty lengthy as it feels like it is cooked from scratch e.g. the hashes. Some options are better than others, such as avacado on sourdough or with mushrooms but having been with people who order the baked hash, it is often undercooked and with egg in it, that's not great. For vegans the options are not great, especially if you wanted to visit more than once, unless you ask for something custom, which to their credit, they are willing to do. The location is nice, being near walks and cycling routes, for parking there is street parking and a car park nearby so you should be able to find something. I like to support local/small businesses, hopefully this one can make a few small improvements to make a big difference and I'd love to visit more often. For now though, I don't offer it up as a suggestion when in the area, but will go if others feel like it.

Great brunch, delicious coffee and proper cappuccino. The McMuffin was delicious, really high quality ingredients, fresh, delicious and the square sausage was huge! Would order again, if I didn’t want to try out all the other menu items too!

What a gem, we had lunch here today, it was really lovely. Chorizo and bean stew on a flatbread with a fried egg on top and smashed avocado, gorgeous. Lovely staff, wine was great, highly recommended.

Travelling by narrowboat we wandered into town and stumbled upon The Green for brunch. A truly marvellous local eatery: friendly, happy, busy, great food. Update April 2023: Just have to say we returned during our second trip through Bollington and this place is even better than I remembered. Wonderful fusion menu that shows off the owners’ worldwide food knowledge. Returning for a third visit in a couple of day’s time!

Great little cafe in a nice quiet location in central Bollington. Food is superb, as is the coffee and service. Nice place to spend a lazy weekend morning.

Visited with a friend for a late lunch. The staff are friendly and approachable. The food was delicious especially the Cajun Buttermilk Chicken burger. There was plenty of space and there was a nice atmosphere. Doesn't cost the earth either. I would recommend this cafe. It's a great place.

My friend had lunch at The Green and loved it, so today three of us went down for lunch. The food was delicious. I had the lamb koftas hummus and yoghurt on flat bread. Well spiced and a lovely balance of flavours. Service was great.

Came in with friends and ordered nutella and berry pancakes. For £7.50 i would rate this 9/10 it was superb. Maybe a tiny bit overpriced but at the end of the day it was very nice.

Lovely clean and wooden surroundings. Easy street parking outside. Reasonable prices and prompt service but we felt under no pressure to move on. Lovely oklunch food with feta, hummus, bruschetta versions, flatbreads. Lots to choose from but all very fresh and we'll presented. A new find and we'll be back

A very nice little eatery in Bollington Cheshire. It is quite small so if your set on going I'd book ahead to avoid disappointment! Every one in our group had food envy over each others order ! I had the chicken burger, the bun was so soft and the chicken so tender and juicy I was very pleasantly surprised. Good portion size of chips accompanied the burger they were skin on type fries and delicious. Customer service was good food and drink orders took promptly and not too longer wait for food. The only thing I would say is the website link doesn't work and I'd seen several older menus to try and anticipate what was on the current menu but these are very minor points! Will have to think of another reason to visit now! Thanks for a nice lunch

Good place for brunch or lunch, I liked the smashed hash browns which is a sort of multi layered bake in an iron dish. Fries also good. You could go here before or after a walk in the area. Dogs allowed

Not many places truly deserve a 5 star review but The Green Bollington certainly does. The food was extraordinarily good, topped up by good service, cleanliness and a reasonable price.

Enjoyed a great brunch here, the chicken burger was flavorful and juicy. Whoever was in charge of the bathroom decor absolutely smashed it as you can see in the picture! 🤣

We had brunch before our walk and weren’t disappointed! The food was amazing, different to your normal cafes offering brunch and by this I mean they offer their own twist. We had the smashed hash browns and the ‘It’s not a McMuffin’ both utterly delicious....

Staff were really nice and food was pretty good! If going at the weekend, I would recommend phoning ahead as it get very busy for the brunch rush hour(s).

I've been here many times now and the quality of the food is consistently really high. Today was no exception - the team managed to squeeze our table of 2 in this afternoon and the place was heaving. Even so our food was delicious, the team were smiling and a good time was had. The quesadilla are my fave!

I'm a serial cafe-goer and this still remains a favourite in the world! It's amazing how a beautifully decorated exterior and interior can bring so much love to a place, I feel sad that there aren't so many good-looking, friendly, great food cafes like this...
