My first evening visit last night with my house shop girls . We all had a super evening. Cheese and onion pie amazing 👍. Thank you team for a great night

Halloumi Salad liked by 3. My Pie & Chips was good enough but not outstanding. Prices above average.

Not the best of food. Less then adequate. Lot of sauce on the Green curry but very little Chicken. Poor presentation. The small portion of salad and huge portion of white boiled rice on the same plate as the curry looked plentiful but wasn’t. Chicken was tasteless and not cheap. The draught from the kitchen door and noise from the kitchen staff Gave an ambience that was not wanted. If I visit this area again the Snap Tin will not be on my list.

What a great little place! from the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted and taken to our table that was ready straight away. The service was impeccable and the food was to die for!! Cannot recommend this place enough, this will be 100% my new favorite treat!

Great place might be small but the food and staff are fab. Known for their pies, especially cheese and onion and the minced beef. Daily specials are served

Warm welcome from I presume the owner on arrival. It was busy, so obviously popular for a reason, but also relaxed and modern. The food was just great.. the fish cakes I'd highly recommend... beautiful delicate flavours, obviously home made. The pies we were told they're well known for.. they did a small version for our 2 girls.. and a small adult portion for us. The atmosphere was great, we will definitely be back!

What a wonderful little place this is. A perfect gem. Recommended to us by a friend, we visited last week for lunch and we loved it. The place is lovely, staff are so friendly & helpful & the food was wonderful! Can't wait to visit again, and thank you so much for gifting me that cute little half pint glass. Ive been here several times and its been great everytime. A big wow for the meat pies. It should be called mrs Miggins pie shop.

I have used this place on a number of occasions and have always found it excellent. The staff are especially friendly and very efficient. The food is good quality home-cooked, especially the pies. It is small so booking a table is advised. There is more room outside in warm weather.

One of the best places to eat in Poynton. Food is lovely and well presented, staff are lovely. Love it.

They say they open till 23.30.....this is not the case. They closed off the food at 19.00 and stopped serving drinks at 21.00. Really dissatisfied

We are now regulars at the Snap Tin. Cozy, friendly, tastefully decorated, great selection behind the bar, good menu and cheese and onion pie to die for. The staff are so friendly too. Recently went when the was a singer on, great atmosphere and another lovely evening to remember. A must place for brunch , lunch, dinner or just drinks .

I visited Snap Tin with a friend mid afternoon. We had booked a table and I'm glad we did as it was lovely and busy. It had a great atmosphere, on recommendation from the lady behind the bar we both had the pies and they did not disappoint!!! Really impressed with the food, the service and the overall feel of Snap Tin. Will visit again!!

Underwhelming experience considering the good reviews. Good was ok but Waitress wasn’t very friendly and refused to let us order a mix of dishes from two different menus. Very odd.

Had breakfast on a couple of occasions and dinner one evening. All superb! Food excellent and service just so friendly. Would highly recommend the bacon butty and the cheese and onion pie (with baked beans - of course!)

If I'm meeting up with friends in Poynton I always go to the Snap Tin, they have a varied menu and the food is always good

Wow. Very good breakfast, well presented by good staff. Plenty of parking. I travelled 20 miles on recommendation. Well worth it. Will go again

Had a lovely lunch here with a friend and my husband whilst we did some ‘catching up’. We all chose the geese & Onion Pie with the most delicious chips I have tasted in a long time. The pie was out of this world - almost as tasty as my mum’s used to be! My friend and I requested small portions but I soon regretted that decision! The staff were pleasant and helpful and, although very busy, we never felt rushed. Looking forward to our next visit already!

When another venue in Poynton let us down as they had nothing for us to eat, Snap Tin came to our rescue!! They were highly accommodating to gluten and dairy-free diets, and made a gorgeous seabass and steak dish, all cooked fresh and delicious! Gluten free beer too. Service was kind, with a smile and professional - what is not to like - our new local!!

Recommended by a friend a very busy place inside and out really lovely staff we had pie meals 1 minced beef 1 steak with chips peas & gravy we will definalty be going back

Great little place, I sat outside on this sunny day with my wife and enjoyed a few beers served by the very friendly and helpful staff, loved the smell of coffee from the bar a gem of a place to start the afternoon off.

A great little restaurant on Poynton High Street, home of the legendary cheese pie. The snap tin has a good menu and a well stocked bar, the prices are reasonable. Staff are excellent, hard working, and eager to please. We will be eating in the Snap Tin next time we visit Poynton.

We are regular ls here. Always a warm welcome, lovely atmosphere and amazing food. The pie especially the cheese and onion are just delicious. Thanks and special mention to Nicky who never fails to be welcoming and squeezes in my last minute bookings .

I like this place but we went in as it opening early one morning. Everything was fine but I looked down and the floor was absolutely filthy from the night before and put me off a bit.

Just been in, the steak pie is the best I have had, tender meat that is hot and tasty. Lovely warm and christmasy atmosphere. Staff are super friendly and would highly recommend

I have been going to the Snap Tin since it opened. The food is delicious, the staff are always courteous and helpful. Good choice of beers. And of course the pies are the best for miles around!

Nice place to go for breakfast or lunch. Food is good as is the service . Apart from the prawns they tasted awful so couldn’t eat them so definitely wouldn’t recommend those.

Just called in for a bit of brekkie and a coffee. The bacon and egg butty was great, proper bloomer bread. The cappuccino was ok albeit more like a good milky coffee with a bit of froth on it. On a sunny morning, it was a lovely place to be

I have eaten here a couple of times and recently had the vegan curry. Seems homemade and it’s delicious! I previously had the vegan tagine which was one of the specials at the time and that was also really tasty. It’s nice to have options...

This must be the best and friendliest cafe /restaurant/bar in the area ! All the staff are excellent and super efficient.Super service with top quality food. You will have to book a table either daytime or evening , which is to be expected for such a popular venue. Sit back and enjoy the food , drink, banter and buzz in this great little gem.

Pie pie pie oh and pie. Did I mention pie? Great little addition to Poynton. Straight forward food done very well. Don't get me wrong there are other things just as good on the menu but the pies are amazing. Plus if you just want a drink or a coffee and cake it's equally as welcoming and good. Well worth a visit. Still amazing!

Had lunch with a friend this week and was again impressed with the food. Was served by a lovely young man (Olly) he was very attentive and knowledgeable about everything. Will be returning again soon

Meet up with my daughter, her mum, and first grandchild. This is at least the third or forth time i have visited the Snap Tin, and its always a good one. Staff are always helpful and pleasant. Can recommend if your ever in Poynton.

We love the food here and reasonably priced. It's nothing fancy just good food, service and friendly staff. Need to book for inside or just find a table out side. It is under cover outside.

Just eaten here and we were not disappointed 😋 We hadn't booked but we were welcomed with a smile and quickly seated. We both had pie 🥧. I had the cheese and onion and my fiancé had the mince and onion.... delicious!!! Staff were very friendly. Service was perfect and we will definitely be revisiting 🤗

Absolutely brilliant night here. Started off with a bit of food ended up dancing the night out.

The food is incredible especially the homemade pies. Real home cooked full of love wholesome food. Small inside but great outside space too. All staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome.
