What a great relaxing bar with great friendly and welcoming staff. The service is brilliant. Well worth a visit. Only had drinks on this visit, but the food looked great.

We visited today for lunch to celebrate my daughter's A Level results and had such a lovely experience. The staff were SO friendly, helpful, warm and welcoming, it really was a pleasure to be there :-) The food and drinks are amazing and we really loved the atmosphere and decor...... its classy and sophisticated and chilled and relaxed all at the same time....... and they also let dogs in so we could take our dog along too. :-) We really loved it here and will definitely go again........ next time for breakfast as the breakfast menu really looks amazing!! Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of going. :-)

Visiting Macclesfield - really friendly staff, had two of the best deli sandwiches for lunch, reasonably priced and very tasty

Stumbled upon this place yesterday morning whilst looking for breakfast. Staff and service are amazing, atmosphere is incredible and food was absolutely outstanding! They took cash too! Thanks guys! We will definitely be back.

Visited a few times recently, most recently this morning for breakfast for a friends birthday. It does not disappoint....the staff are friendly and efficient....the drinks are great...the food is fabulous. The bloody mary cocktails are always on point! Great opening hours as well- it's great to be able to come in for a nice breakfast for a fair price. Following on from a previous review I visited for breakfast with my mum. Great service and food as always but really frustrated with the "work from home" men and women taking up tables of 4 or booths having really loud business phone calls that the whole place could hear, at one point I was quite tempted to take down the phone number one was reciting to his colleagues just because it seemed he wanted everyone to have it. It was unfortunate that an elderly couple and their daughter came in to find the only space was the high bar chairs at the back which weren't suitable yet these "work from home" individuals had an entire booth and another a table for 4. I love Surburban Green, Macclesfield but you may want to suggest these people sit on certain tables and/or keep their private work meetings private so they arent spoiling it for everyone else.

Brilliant night, absolutely amazing food, great cocktails and lovely staff. Went in without booking, just for a drink and ended up spending our whole evening there. The food was incredible. Full of flavour, so fresh and different to the norm.

Just love this place - staff are amazing nothing is too much trouble. Dog friendly - fab cocktails - brunch spot on! Lucky to have this place so close by. I would definitely say the staff are brilliant and the food is delicious (whether it be midweek or the weekend, brunch or dinner) well worth a visit!

What a fantastic experience. We were greeted with a smile, great communication and very looked after by the staff. My 7 month old was treated really well too. The food was amazing, I can recommend the Nduja with eggs and broccoli. It’s the first time in a long time I’ve wanted to lick my plate. Thanks we will be back.

Needed a coffee and called in, very attractive layout, busy and friendly. Well stocked bar, with cocktails being shaken alongside barista standard coffees being made throughout our visit. Clean and tidy, plenty of tables and choice of high bar stools and comfortable chairs. Blackboard showed good range of specials at competitive prices.

First visit today with my friend - wanted to take her somewhere 'nice' and we loved it! Gorgeous food, lovely ambience and super team running it ... we'll definitely see you again soon!

Quite often visit here, lovely feel about the place and the service is always excellent. It's most often busy but the staff will quite happily ask other customers if they are happy to share a table. Most recently called in early and had the Green Breakfast, that is most definitely recommended. Called in early evening for drinks, wine was superior here to where we dined afterwards.

Had lunch here with my friend today, the goats cheese and candied walnuts on sourdough was absolutely delicious! Really nice, relaxed atmosphere and comfy seats! The gentlemen working were very attentive and have good senses of humor :)) will definitely be returning soon!

I had reserved a small table for drinks on a Friday evening for myself and my partner as we had walked passed a few times and it always looks busy (in a good way) and didn't want to risk standing room only. The staff on the phone were super helpful and had a great time slot for us. We had a few drinks over the course of the time there with my partner trying the Marlborough Sauvignon and I had a few of the draft craft beers. Everything was served perfectly and the prices were on par with the other nice bars in the area. While there we watched a lot of cocktails being made and served all of which looked mega. We weren't visiting for food so can't really comment but the menu looked good and I'll definitely be back at some point to try a few dishes!

Excellent service, really good food. There are not many fantastic venues in Macclesfield, but this has to be one of the best. Also, very good for people watching!

To be honest we only stayed for drinks, so can't comment on food but given 5 stars as the cocktails were the best in Macclesfield by a mile!! Greated at the door with a smile and asked if we were eating or drinking. Then the host said where was available to sit or stand. Only a small place and some tables were reserved. Great Vibe. Older crowd. Chilled yet buzzing. Enjoyed it, will be back.

The best time. Never had service and food like it. You will not regret going, the bottomless brunch is insane. The servers never let your drinks go dry. Could not recommend it more!!!!!

What a lovely place with a great vibe. Beautifully decorated and enhanced by the equally beautiful staff. The food was lovely and served with a smile. The staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough. We were lucky to get a table and will definitely go again. I will make sure to reserve a table next time so we don't miss out.

Friendly and kind staff, good food, great atmosphere and nice decor. I personally wouldn't book a table for food on a Friday / Saturday evening (due to how popular and busy it is at night). However, daytime and lunch are fine. The wine selection is meticulously chosen to suit many pallettes, with a good selection of tap beers and bottled options (including none alcoholic). The cocktails are also very good. Jez was a pleasure. See you lot soon.

Food was delicious and good size portions. General manager was knowledgeable about wine and recommend a nice white. Great place to sit and people watch.

Nice drink at 7.30 on a Friday evening. The acoustics are awful, acoustic tiles needed urgently. Returned for a drink at 10.30, last orders called no drink. Tin pot attitude, must try harder or maybe CBA.

We love going here for Sunday brunch, but I think we might have to go back for cocktails. The fluffy pancakes with bacon and maple syrup are just gorgeous and my go to, and hubby just has a bacon or sausage butty, sometimes with an egg and sometimes not, but equally as delicious. The coffee is good and combined with a lovely atmosphere and reasonable prices, it is rapidly becoming our regular Sunday morning haunt.

This is a small bar selling small plates. Everything about this place is brilliant, the staff are chatty and Heleena could tell us about each dish on the menu from personal tasting. It is excellently priced and has a great atmosphere. we just love it here and visit here every time we are in Macclesfield. Highly recommend a visit.

Very friendly and welcoming . Warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, you would have to go a long way to find anything tastier. Just love it and would highly recommend! Last time we came we had the Thai prawn balls on a specials menu.. wow they were amazing x this is fast becoming our favourite go to place .

Disappointing experience. Went with my wife at 7pm on Saturday evening for a drink, or at least that was the intention. The bar was busy with a good atmosphere. I approached the bar to get served and was greeted by an enthusiastic young woman who explained there were no seats available, but she’d take our order and bring our drinks to us - a cider and a Chardonnay. 10 mins later a pleasant male employee asked if we’d been served - we explained the above and still waited. A table became free behind us so we sat down. The same male employee returned and pointed out that the table was reserved and that we’d have to vacate in 20 mins. Ok….. any sign of the drinks guys? Previous woman returned and asked if we’d been served. Yes….. by you as we repeated our order from 15 mins earlier. We watched other people enter and get served at the bar, but surely we’d get our drinks soon. 7.25 still no drinks so we left. FFS I want to spend money in your bar - how hard can it be to get a drink?? We proceeded to the Copper Room for our restaurant reservation.

Eggs benedict were excellent! The houmous and pitta was generous, but not 'traditional' houmous it had more spices and oil in it than to my preference so mark down for that and they don't sell chai :(

Ate here while spending weekend in Macc. The food is delicious, there’s lots of choice, the staff are fab and the venue is stunning - welcoming and immaculate. We loved it. I’m GF and choice was great.

Wow, what delicious food. Who knew cauliflower could taste so gorgeous! Had loads of small bites and we were not disappointed. Great little spot for lunch. We’ll be back! Great choices for non meat eaters!
