Everytime we visit your restaurant It's been amazing the food and the atmosphere is unbelievably gorgeous we're looking forward to try the rest of the food on the menu and the gentleman with curly hair done an amazing job serving us many thanks to him .and the rest of the staff

Horrible experience, fresh nan bread 🤣🤣yeah fresh out the bag, the chicken kebab came warm ish to cold, the rest was mediocre, overpriced for what we got, the waiter had us waiting for 10 mins before coming to take ur order despite having only one other table, he was just so slow or high, ignorant when i told him that the nan doesn't look fresh made. Just feel ripped off couldn't be arsed to argue so ve let some steam off through this review. Stop ripping off people

I am a regular at this amazing place, food is amazing and people working there are so kind and welcoming, i arranged my friend’s birthday there I invite every new friend to that place and it makes me proud every time. With the arabic food and Egyptian music and amazing western decoration I totally recommend to everyone.

A great Syrian / Middle Eastern Restaurant. Decor and ambience is perfect for any occasion. Great flavours, perfect every time. Halal Menu, vegan options, and traditional dessert options that you usually won't find around here. Will be back to try more! Below is a Lamb dish, Elaf Grilled Chicken and Babaganouj Starter.

Lovely welcome front the ever helpful staff. The elaf special lemonade is a must even if you have brought your own alcohol (they don't have a licence so it bring your own alcohol with no corkage fees). It very popular so best ti book.

The food is delicious but having ordered from elaf regularly for a long time was quite disappointed with last takeaway order. Paying £20 for a kebab I'd have thought it would have come with rice and salad and there was basically no bread sent with the hummus we ordered. Still think the food is high quality but general satisfaction has dropped a bit.

We are from West Yorkshire, visiting family in Macclesfield. Ate at this lovely restaurant this evening. Excellent food in both quantity and quality. Very good service from Mo and other staff. Will definitely return.

Great little Gem in this part of the world

This place is second to none, Food is 5 star, service is incredibly amazing and they also have free parking which was a bonus. Price is reasonable for the food quality, definitely recommended.

Disgusting behaviour off the older male staff, arguing with me because I didn't like my food and asking why I ordered it if I did like it?!?! How am I meant to know if I like it before I order it!! The fact that the younger male waiter took my food away seeing i didnt like it with no issue, and then the older male waiter bringing it back to my shoving it in my face asking why i ordered it if i didnt like it! Vial service! And making my partner eat mine that i had already had a bite out of instead of making his that he had ordered for himself! How dare you! RUINED my dad's birthday. Tip for future customers, don't complain about your food otherwise you'll get abuse off the staff. And I'll be telling everyone about this!

Always have a good meal here, the menu has something for everyone. Hot and cold dishes, lots of veggie stuff and loads of meat from the charcoal BBQ. It's BYOB too so I always feel like it is good value for money💯

Food was ok but music was super loud, out table was really hidden and staff didn't really come to see if we needed something else.

Nice food, good service. Front door doesn't close fully automatically which means when it's cold outside the draft is significant. Otherwise, great place for a casual meal.

Delicious Lebanese restaurant in Macclesfield 🙌 Try the Lamb Chops and you’ll not leave disappointed. They did a traditional dessert combination which we enjoyed. Also, we booked an hour before and it was very easy to get a table. There is a parking very close to the restaurant. We got some free Turkish delight (llokume). The staff is very friendly and the place offers a good atmosphere.

I think, because it is a bring your own booze, which works really well, that you only see the staff when they are delivering food. So if you are wanting soft drinks they aren't as attentive as you'd have in a different restaurant. However that is the only negative, the staff are lovely, the food is amazingly tasty, not like any other restaurant I've experienced in Macclesfield. Simply unique.

First time trying Lebanese and spot on!. Filled with flavor on all counts on dishes tried, exquisitely moist mixed kebab. Elaf lemonade was amazing on a great palette cleanser.

Pricy but tasty nice place to sit and chat

It's a first for me and comes recommended from others who dine there. We are of the older generation who would maybe visit more traditional haunts. I was lost in a massive sea of dishes without being really sure what was what. Guidance from others sent me in the kebab/mussaka direction which was a halfway house for me. The mussaka was veggy and OK but not what I expected, the chicken kebab was lovely with a delicious and generous salad. There was various 'sides' on option all served together and our group of 13 ages 7 to 77 were well catered for by charming and helpful staff. With more experience of mid-eastern food I'm sure that of the many dishes on the menu there is something for everyone. Super atmosphere, super restaurant. I shall revisit with happiness to try some other interesting dishes yet unknown to me.

Great food, will be going again

This hidden gem of a restaurant can be found heading north out of the town. A cosy and calm atmosphere at the time of visiting, it's unusual to find a Lebanese restaurant in such a small town like Macclesfield, but it's definitely worth a visit if you like this cuisine or you're adventurous in your tastes. Everything chosen in our visit was perfectly cooked and full of amazing flavours. I chose sea bass, which was fresh and beautifully prepared. This accompanying rice was fragrant and tangy. If you do choose Elaf, you can expect to pay roughly £30 per person for a starter, a main and drinks. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you like great food.

Very tasty food, fast service. We really enjoyed our visit. Mixed starters were a great way to try a few new flavours, the muhammara was amazing. Spicy chicken kebab was the favourite among the group. 2nd visit and enjoyed it we will be back.

Really enjoyed my meal. Excellent choice of vegetarian and gluten free options. Portions were generous. Looking forward to eating here again.

I can't rate this place highly enough. Excellent food combined with great atmosphere and super service. To top it all it is very reasonably priced. Just remember to take your own drinks.

Bringing our own wine to an excellent dinner. The mixed starters were perfect, I especially loved the spiciness. Salmon portions were huge, my spicy chicken spot on.

I’m really wishing to be more than five stars first off all the staff so friendly and they let you fell the comfort of the middle East then starters so testy and they are so generous and kind then food well cooked as well you fell the fresh test from first bite lastly dessert so lovely really Macclesfield they are luck they got this restaurant and definitely will revisit if I pass over again. I ordered take away from here and honestly, it was exceptional! Every dish was delicious. They threw in a few extras as well which is always nice. They were extremely friendly when I picked up as well. So happy to have such great Middle Eastern food in Macc!

Great food, really good atmosphere and amazing service.

Really like it here! The food is delicious - especially the chicken kebab and the mousaka (me and my partner get the same thing every time) and any of the starters hot/cold are worth a try! But good food is only one thing. The service is always fast and friendly, we will often get something extra from the kitchen too. It's BYOB and there is a small corkage fee, so you can have anything to drink that you like. Decor is quirky and this place is always one of our first to recommend as they are consistently good.

One at 6pm one at 8pm which is a little frustrating. They do take out too.
