A good place for coffee and cake. A good place for coffee and soup and plenty of cakes. I understand they are prepared and cooked the previous day

Always a great place to meet up with friends for coffee and delicious choice of fresh bakes. Everyone is so friendly and make you feel so welcome.

Lovely coffee shop, always friendly and accommodating. The coffee and cakes always really nice with a great selection and light lunches just enough.

Tucked away next to The Flower House, lovely spot for a coffee and a bite to eat. Really friendly ladies, chatted a bit and ordered a latte and rhubarb cake. Excellent coffee and delicious cake, nice ambience. Be back soon.

Lovely setting in the old bank and next to the nice flower and gift shop. Nice afternoon tea and homemade soup. Tea comes in lovely tea pots and cups.

It was okay. Sandwich dry and the bacon was too fatty. Good atmosphere and ambiance. Would not eat again but drinks were good.

I was thrilled to win afternoon tea with fizz back in March this year at ' What women want bingo's in aid of the east Cheshire hospice. I got to enjoy the afternoon last Friday with my friend and my sister. We savoured the ploughman's platter with delicious chutneys and followed with a selection of homemade cakes, scones, jam and cream. I do frequent The Thistle coffee house regularly to enjoy the freshly roast coffee and soak up the pleasant surroundings as well as chatting to the friendly staff.

Liz hosted my birthday coffee, cake and fizz with friends yesterday. We had a great time! The quality of the cakes and coffee was excellent and she got the tone just right- casual but special.

This is a really grand building, previously a bank. The large bank safe is still in place, without money. The Coffee is excellent. There is also a flower shop within this building, previously a Barclays bank some years ago, and other banks before becoming Barclays. It's worth a visit.

My friend arrived from The Isle of Wight, what better place to go and meet with other friends/family to catch up. The surroundings of The Thistle Coffee house was perfect for us, friendly, pleasing staff. A fabulous selection of homemade cakes & beverages to choose from. We enjoyed cream teas. A beautiful venue complimented by The Flower House florists. Support local businesses.

A fantastic coffee house , located alongside the flower house, relaxing , comfortable ambiance, situated in an old bank in Macclesfield. Friendly welcome, staff really helpful and accomodating. The coffee is really gorgeous and the variety of cakes is amazing, vegan, gluten free, the list goes on, really worth a visit !!!
