Amazing food and service. If you want something exciting and different from normal pub food, this is for you. Food combinations are delicious, and you find yourself savouring every mouthful. as you dont want it to end .The presentation is beautiful, too. The food is a work of art. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Delicious! I have just eaten the best broccoli, peas and corn to ever pass my lips. This might sound odd to some but as a gluten free vegetarian I was very happy with my selection of dishes. Such a lovely treat from a friend for my upcoming Birthday.

Nice enough venu. Menu is all over the place but the food is lacking and the cost was way overpriced for what was offered. Careful when ordering anything for £10.00 as you're going to be offered next to nothing to eat covered in sauce. I won't be visiting again.

We had been looking forward to trying this place and were all disappointed. Our party felt the food was bland, overpriced and 2 dishes were inedible as smothered in a salty sauce. £9.95 for 3 prawns!!!! it’s not surprising that there are offers on Monday to Thursday as it wouldn’t be worth it. Save your money, get an Uber to Manchester and go to El Rincon de Rafa/ El Gato Negro/ or Evuna

What an amazing night, service, food and atmosphere! Could not recommend Tapa more!! People need to be more like Herbie (see pic) and go eat at Tapa! To add they do mocktails for kids and adults, this was a huge hit with the little man!

For context, my stock response to good food is “s’alright that” my review of the food was absolutely outstanding!! and this review is still not enough to say how good it was! If you are wondering if you should give it a try, do, without a seconds hesitation!

Midweek in March and a return to one of our favourite restaurants. Just a few tables taken but always a good ambience here. Bring your own so that definitely works for us, £3 each corkage. The food here is different and delicious, you probably won't find these dishes elsewhere. I was vegetarian for the night, plenty of choice especially if you add in the sides. Friendly and relaxed service, we're already looking forward to our next visit.

Eaten here a few times over the past couple of years, booked in for a party of 10 on a Saturday night food was great lots of flavour good quality tapas really fast service staff couldn’t do enough for us. Will be back.

Great tapas. Half price grub on Monday teatime as long as you bring a couple of items for the food bank. Just hand it in. Drinks not discounted. We loved it.

Went on Valentines and happy we chose here the place was packed and you soon could tell why. I would say the best tapas in the area high quality, varied, fairly priced and the added bonus of a very friendly waitress who interacted very well. This will now be our first stop for tapas. Our food was delicious, the service excellent from friendly, efficient staff. The atmosphere was good. Despite being midweek on a very wet, cold night it was really busy, which speaks volumes. A really enjoyable experience.

Visited last night for the first time after hearing good things about this restaurant. We can’t believe it has taken us so long to visit and we’ll certainly return shortly. Lovely setting and nice chilled tunes playing in the background. Met the young lady owner and had a good chat with her about the background to where they are now. The food isn’t ‘traditional’ tapas but their own take on it which we both think they have smashed out of the park. They also offer BYOB on certain nights (check the website) and discounted meals too. We had 5 plates which was more than enough to satisfy our appetites. While ordering our first two we asked to wait to order the next until we’d eaten them and this was no problem. Each dish was unique in flavours and texture and stunning to be perfectly honest. Can’t wait to return and try some of the other dishes. 10/10 from us.

We visited Tapa last night 13/12/2023 impromptu dinner, and fortunately managed to get a table. Carmen ran the service like clockwork as usual with the lovely polite friendly waitress.the atmosphere was warm and was great to see full tables of people enjoying fantastic dishes. The food was amazing so tasty, each dish brought new flavours and quality ingredients nothing is run of the mill or predictable. We shared a lovely bottle of Malbec to complete our evening, of course finished off with a selection of homemade delicious ice creams. Can not recommend this place enough, small plates of exquisite food Well done guys.

Just moved around the corner from TAPA so ventured out on a Monday evening for dinner. This restaurant has a special offer - bring a food bank donation for 50% off the food bill. Great idea! Small plate menu, started with some breads and oil - absolutely delicious with two different breads. Main courses - my girlfriend had the cod plus the prawns and I had pigs in blankets with cranberry and the lamb shoulder pie. Bravas and gnocchi sides. All the food was excellent. The restaurant was packed, even on a Monday night so make sure you book in advance. Buzzing atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff. Will definitely be back soon.

We visited on a Wednesday evening and there was a few people in but certainly not busy. We had booked fir our party of 6 a fortnight before so they knew we were coming. We had to ask twice to place our order and the foid took a very long time to come. The poir service continued for the whoke of the evening!!! When it did it was not particularly warm and flavour wise was ok ish. The potato bravas were basically deep fried potato chunks plastered in paprika so you can tell the standard. As a group we are tapas lovers - something to suit everyone when your in a large group. Also seriously over priced which was made worse by the compulsory service charge for 6 people or more. Given the poor service we recived we wouldn't have left a tip at all. Let alone the £30 we were forced to leave. We will not be back. Santiago in Buxton knocks spots of this place, maybe the manager should visit to see how its done.

Wow! We popped in last minute for dinner and my husband and I were blown away. A fantastic menu with a stunning variety of dishes, each was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. We particularly enjoyed the crab croquettes and salt and pepper pork belly - one of the best meals out we have had in a long time. Great value, attentive service and a real little gem of a place!

We ate in on Monday taking advantage of the amazing 50pc offer. We therefore ordered most things off the menu. It was all absolutely top notch. Will be back to try the new menu soon 😋

We had a fantastic dinner at Tapa. Between us we had 1 nibble, 2 sides and 4 mains. We loved everything we had and eat every last bit. The staff are polite and friendly and add to a great atmosphere. Also great value for money. We really enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend.

Great tapas - we enjoyed everything and couldn’t decide what we liked best! Consistently good. Last time I came it was equally fabulous and nice that there were different dishes. We will be going back time and time again.

First time visiting Bollington and we were so thrilled to have such a nice meal that was not only freshly cooked but was full of flavour. We had 6 tapas dishes between the both of us and they were all equally tasty in their own right. Highly recommend to anyone that wants a laid back meal

Delicious tapas - we had halloumi, sea bream, chicken wings, salad and salt & pepper gnocchi. All we're so fresh and tasty. This is a fantastic independent restaurant in a beautiful location. Best food ever. If you're looking for an intimate date night or a night with the girls drinking great wine/cocktails and AMAZING food, then this is the go-to! The creativity and passion for food is pretty obvious from the get-go. Hats off to the chef for bringing together different flavours and always getting it so right. This is one of our favourite family-run spots in Cheshire.

4 of us...dinner..19.30...great food and service...2nd time we've been....2 very minor drawbacks...dont face the main windows when the suns setting...and my wife has slight mobility probs..no downstairs toilet...and if you arent sure about the food, the staff guide you in the right direction.

My friends and I regularly head to Tapa for our ‘Mums Nights’. Food is delicious, fresh and always different, the drinks (cocktails) are delicious and the service is exceptional. We moved to Bolly to be within walking distance of this gem! (I only half joke.) Food & wine is always spot on. Best olives I've ever tasted. Incredible home made ice cream. Lovely staff and perfect level of service. Also - the toilets are pristine. I took my foodie fella here on our forth date. Now it's the first place we take visiting family and friends and everyone asks to go back on their next visit to Bolly. Do not visit Bollington without swinging by Tapa!!

Called for one drink, couldn’t get a table but we were kindly squeezed in at the bar and we ended up staying for 3 drinks and eating. Such a good atmosphere, relaxed and of course the food is fabulous.

We’ve just been on spec for an early meal and it is fabulous as always! Very inventive, everything really tasty, and the wine we chose without thinking too much about it turned out to be sensational! We live nearby, so really must visit more often and support this absolute gem of a restaurant. The staff are cheery and efficient too, and just complete a great dining experience.

Really lovely staff but food didn't warrant the price tag at all. Limited menu and the food was disappointing. In so many ways...our 4 tapas were 1.lovely(pork wantons), 2.bland; 3.inedibly tough, and 4.pleasant but unimpressive. We also had two sides 1. drowned in barbecue sauce 2. Inedible due to excess salt (and I mean extreme EXCESS ) Overall, overpriced food lacking finesse in any way...not returning.
