used to be a nice place to go for a lunch or breakfast . had a lunch with friends and the portions have become so small . Aprawn salad used to fill the plate . now the prawns are in a tiny ramakin . and for over £9 . i was really disappointed . exspencive and not good value . wouldnt recomend

The cafe part felt dirty. The coffee was foul and sugar was in a paper cup with a dirty spoon in it . Thought I would give it a try but wouldn’t revisit.

We called in here on our way back to where we were staying. We had been here once before in a larger group but this time it was just my wife and myself. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We both decided to have the lamb pie and chop (with vegetables) and it was thoroughly enjoyable. We also had some cheesecake afterwards just to round it off. Our overall impression of the Cadogan, we were very impressed, the food was excellent and the service friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back.

Lovely cafe! Couldn’t belive our luck when we found this cafe was open on Easter Sunday. We entered to a warm reception from staff, the girl serving us was particularly hospitable! She let us know all of our options for food and drink and offered us a sample of cake that we unfortunately didn’t have room for after our breakfasts. Delicious coffee and hot breakfast and the people on shift went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted. If we had known about it sooner we’d have visited on every day of our little holiday. Can’t overstate how friendly and warm the service was, topped off by delicious, filling food. 10/10.

Food was good, but the service was hard to get to come to our table and the wine selection is lacking

Basic food… scone only came with jam and butter - only had squirty cream - cheese toasty was bland didn’t taste of cheese! Pot of tea was basic with really tea bag was hoping for tea leaves.. we had two teas, toasty and scone cost £15

Our favourite coffee shop in the city, both for delicious coffee (Butterworth & Son) and the atmosphere. Wright’s is a popular place with tasty food. Definitely check it out.

Extremely disappointing lunch today. It was our anniversary and a real treat to eat outside. Very little choice for vegetarians - only one main course option which included asparagus and broad beans - both vegetables that I don’t like. I opted for the celeriac instead even though it was really a starter. When my husband went to order he was told that we had to have all three courses served at the same time because we were eating outside. We had our dog with us so indoors was not an option. When my husband pointed out that the ice cream on the pudding would melt before we could eat it, the server agreed to hold the Treacle Tart with ice cream until we’d finished our main courses. Foccacia with sundried tomato butter was dried out and tasteless. I didn’t eat it. The waiter didn’t ask if everything was OK, just “have you finished?” I told him about the bread. He just said “Oh, dry?” And walked away. When the small portion of treacle tart was served, it had been microwaved so that it was too hot to eat, burning my tongue, and the ice cream had half melted. Who wants hot treacle tart in 24 degrees. If it was treacle pudding fair enough. I’ve seen your response to the last negative review, so just to confirm that we paid when we ordered and we weren’t offered a refund on the focaccia. Although we’re local we won’t be returning, which is a shame because it’s so close and a beautiful setting.

Lovely staff, great food (skinny chips are a staple!), come regularly for the quiz, great atmosphere and night out. Great it's dog friendly too. Highly recommend

Staff are nice. I would say the room hadn’t been hoovered. Laying in bed on the Friday we could hear the bass from the speakers downstairs which was annoying and disappointing.

One Bull is an excellent place to eat. The food is very good and the menu has a good choice of dishes to suit all tastes. The staff are very friendly and helpful You are treated extremely well thank you for a lovely evening

Whitebait. Rump steak cooked exactly the way I wanted it. Brownie and cream. Good value No messing, great service, bottle of shiraz and a superb pint of stout. What's not to like?

Lovely food. Weather your having breakfast here or an evening meal. Good value for your money.
