advise avoiding this cafe. The customer care is non existent. We knew there would be a long wait (No updates were given) but after over an hour, we found they had lost our order. Due to the time we had to opt for a card refund and were kept waiting AGAIN while they tried to work out how, because giving cash from the till would upset their system!!!! The manager/ owner (?) didnt even apologise and left it to the woman next to him.

Simply a 'must visit' place. I go regularly, but not as often as I should. The bike service team are exemplary and can deal with any issue, minor to complete rebuild. The cafe is also a terrific place to refuel, chat and gaze at some exquisite classic road bikes on display. If that metallic purple machine above the counter ever goes on-sale, please let me know. Top marks, one and all. x

Bought a bike that was sold as new, turns out it had been used, as shifter and folk had marks plus tyres were not super clean for a new bike. Not great service as won't share return details. This was a birthday present for my 15 year old. Spent £1500 and still the service is poor. Small things make a big difference. I know this is fantastic business (as you can tell from the website and local community feedback) but stop trying to boil the ocean and concentrate on customer service & experience. Being busy is no excuse, spend a little time for every that comes to you.

Wonderful cafe with a great selection of cakes but the main reason for this review is the exceptional customer service from the bike repair team. Our 7yo son had damaged his derailleur two days before his first cycle event and the amazing team didn't have one in stock, and couldn't get one before the competion. They called other rival local bike shops to find one, without success, and eventually removed one from another bike they had on display. It was an amazing example of customer service and we're incredibly grateful to them as our son was able to enter his first race.

I’ve cycled here a few times before and really think the food has got even better. I had the vegetarian breakfast at about 12pm which was great with little sautéed potatoes, 2 eggs and some good veggie sausages. A great stop over or destination cycling from Cambridge. It’s got everything! Long may it last please use this cafe ! Also the young guy working there was so friendly and polite, he seemed to be quite new to the job and had to deal with some pretty demanding customers. We’ve all started somewhere and had to learn, and top marks to him for persevering and taking it in his stride. 👏 👏 👏

Nice cyclist cafe with a bicycle shop attached. Or is it a bicycle shop with a cafe attached? This review pertains to the cafe only. The cafe has plenty of indoor and outdoor space available. Service for me, at the front of the queue, was reasonably quick. However some of my fellow cyclists to wait a little while. They seem to be quite a good selection of cakes and savoury vittles. My cafe latte was good although it would have been nice if he'd been a bit hotter. My scone and cake nice but nothing special. The prices were reasonable. I'll be more than happy to return. Indeed I did return in April 2022 still the same still just as good.

Overall a pleasant experience UPDATE my bike had not been used since collection (4 months ago)from being sent away for carbon repair and maglia provided a strip and rebuild service which was covered by insurance. On pre inspection before use the gears did not function. The bottom bracket was not installed correctly. All of the inner cable liners are missing. Rubber grommet for the rear mech cable is missing. And the cable clamp on the rear mech is missing and been replaced with a washer 🫤. Not impressed….will need to strip and rebuild myself.

So found this absolutely amazing little gem on park for night app, it is a cafe/shop for cyclists prominently...but everybody is welcome...there are glamping pods for hire on site also... we called them up on the day we were coming up to meet friends...we was advised that there was plenty of space to park up and there is a large field for walking a dog or two and was welcomed with a very pleasant and welcoming voice, they ask if you park overnight (which is free) that you come in to the cafe and have a drink or some food before you leave. The breakfast was absolutely lovely and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming! We was going to find another place for the second night but was so impressed with the place that we decided to come back for a second night. Cappuccino nearly all froth. Lad serving needs to stop running his hands through his hair or wear a hat The good points :- toast was lovely , tea was hot and refreshing. worst food I have ever been served. Soup was so salty it was inedible, the dessert was clearly frozen industrial goods. coffee was ok. Staff was friendly though but TV was on and some horendous radio channel was playing, which didn't feel cosy of pleasant. For a bicycle-themed cafe, it is also disappointed not to have decent bike locking facilities. only a tiny cheapest of the cheap non anchored rack was available. Our bikes didn't fit in it and frankly wouldn't be safe locked to it so we ended up having to lock them to a playground pole.

Had a Small issue with the heating, but a quick email and that was sorted out. I had also emailed prior to our visit several times regarding fire pit and BBQ hire and these were answered very promptly, Also we email regarding bedding and Towels, and again answered promptly, You have to take your own bedding and towels now due to Covid, not sure how I stand on this TBH, hotels can supply bedding, but it didnt dampen our stay. We were visiting friends in the village so didnt really spend much time in the Pod, Once we sorted the heating (user error :-( ) the pod was toasty..... had a great time and service outstanding... thankyou
