Dejavu in St Edmundsbury

Basic food… scone only came with jam and butter - only had squirty cream - cheese toasty was bland didn’t taste of cheese! Pot of tea was basic with really tea bag was hoping for tea leaves.. we had two teas, toasty and scone cost £15

Got food fine but the server was extremely rude. Wouldn’t recommend at all unless you like being spoken To like crap. This is the worst service ever.

Great cake and coffee. Best lemon cake I have ever tasted. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Had come down from the north of England and wanted a coffee break before proceeding.

I enjoyed a nice cappuccino here. The staff are very friendly, and the place clearly has its regulars. It almost has the friendly feel of a cafe in Coronation Street or Eastenders. Nice to get a little biscuit with the coffee. Very enjoyable.

Stopped in for a late lunch. My partner had a chili con carne jacket potato and said it was delicious. I had a crispy bacon bap, and I can honestly say it was one of the best I have ever had. The bap was lovely and fresh whilst the bacon was PERFECTLY crisp. The tea and coffee was extremely good. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. The whole premises were lovely and clean. Will definitely be returning. Thank you very much for an excellent experience.

Best coffee in town, lots of options. Friendly staff, always happy to help and welcome you. Great selection of sandwiches and cakes too, all delicious. Definitely recommend.

Always get a sandwich if I'm going pass there. Love the prawn beget. Service is great. Normally takeaway but have eaten in. Coffee great. The sweet stuff is yummy. Very popular. Good business owner. Owns a few businesses in Haverhill. Looks after staff well.

This restaurant supplied the buffet for my Mums 70th Birthday party. Excellent selection of food at a good price. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I and our American Bulldog Tanba visited Deja Vu recently. Although we had to wait a while for our order, when it arrived it was very good! Dogs not allowed in the Cafe, so we say outside. Not great views, but nice food and coffee. Previousley we had visited , we sat inside and looked out from the panoramic front window, on a sunny day its really enjoyable. The choice of food is considerable, mainly rolls, sandwiches, salads etc., - very nicely done. Well worth a trip. Tks beryl and adam

Good quality food and drink in a relaxed comfortable atmosphere. The service can be very slow at times but worth a visit.

Stopped in on the way to a job today as was early to see customer,as always checked TripAdvisor in the hope of getting a nice breakfast which indeed it could have been as the place itself is quiet nicely decorated and staff friendly enough and breakfast looked ok actually but totally ruined by the worst tasting beans you could ever imagine ? Funky Beans with the most unusual indescribable taste !! Soapy water mixed with brown sauce is my best description and there's me thinking the beans must be the easiest thing to get right,open tin,heat and serve ! I was of course sadly mistaken 😒

I’ve been coming here since it opened. The food is always consistently good and so are the drinks. The place is clean and the staff are all helpful and friendly. What more could you want? Perfect

I am a regular customer to Dèjá Vu and I always get great service and fresh and tasty food. Around 12am to 2pm it does get very busy and this can cause the wait to be long but the waiter or waitress always apologies.

I come here fairly often and am never disappointed. Different teas on offer. I usually get a fresh salad and am never disappointed. Always crisp fresh and so much! I'm lactose and gluten intolerant but never leave here disappointed. So much choice. And the staff are friendly and helpful. And it is so reasonable!

Good variety of food for a snack with lots of drinks to choose from. Eat in or take-away available. Staff polite some more chatty than others

Very poor service ate all my food before i got my drinks.The drinks arrived 15 minutes later. When I complained the staff told me take away orders come before eat in,even though i had paid before those orders were made. The staff were quite rude, said they would tell manager.

After a spree of Christmas shopping on Saturday I went in for a latte and a piece of chocolate and walnut cake! A lovely latte and the piece of cake was huge. The staff are really nice and welcoming. I sat outside which was lovely in the nice weather just chilling out. This is my second visit and would definitely recommend at visit.

I love the decor here, it's stylish and modern. The food is lovely and their hot chocolate is a fav of mine. The staff are always friendly.

Stopped here for lunch with family last week, really busy with friendly helpful staff and food was lovely, had jacket potatoes and sausage & egg muffins and was enjoyed by everyone, they was even able to redo my daughter's white hot chocolate as it was a bit too thick to start with but they changed it no problem. Would come here again thank you

He conocido durante un tiempo Déjà Vu y nunca decepciona. Excelente batido de frutas gran sándwich con un precio razonable y ambiente agradable. El personal es amable y el servicio es bueno. Prefiero esto a las cadenas de tiendas de café estándar.

Trabajando en un domingo, mi elección para el almuerzo era limitada, por decir lo menos. Afortunadamente encontré dejavu. El servicio era rápido y amable. Recomiendo si buscas un lugar de almuerzo 👍

My husband and I regularly visit for lunch and are never disappointed. The toasted paninis are very tasty and they have a good selection of fillings and toppings. The milk shakes look yummy but I have never experienced one , yet!!!The staff are always extremely helpful, nothing is too much trouble. It sometimes can be congested, especially if lots of pushchairs are visiting but everyone moves to help. It is great that Harry, the owner, cleans and tidies, a rare thing for bosses to help out the staff at busy times these days.

A quiet, sunny, Sunday morning. I'd cycled 30 miles and I'd climbed a lot of hills by the time I reached the downhill stretch from Withersfield into Haverhill. I headed for the church, the landmark for my next junction, getting off to push the bike through the pedestrian zone. Definitely time for refreshments. Dejavu looked promising, and it thoroughly lived up to its promise. I was met with a warm welcome, and rapidly served with a very generous sized coffee and a delicious chocolate brownie. The seating was comfortable, the loo clean and well appointed (nice sink and soap!), and the friendly staff filled up my water bottle for me as well. The uphill out of town seemed much less daunting after my coffee stop, and when I'm next passing through I intend to stop at Dejavu again.

Visit here often . Lovely coffee made to your taste. Food lovely and a relaxing atmosphere .Staff friendly and order was bought out fast even on a busy day .

I went here for coffee and I did seem to get some average service today, the cake I had requested did come out a good 501-0 minutes before the drink, this is most unusual but if you are after a good coffee you can't go wrong. Free wifi is available.

What a lovely lunch we had, the Deja vu cafe which has an upbeat atmosphere with a contemporary decor , a good choice of menu that is reasonably priced and friendly, helpful staff. The cafe runs a loyalty card which once filled entitles you to a free drink...their hot chocolate is particularly good.

This is a very nice, pleasant and charming local sandwich bar and café. There are very many locals and regulars here on a frequent basis - That in itself implies just how good and pleasant the place is. The staff are very nice , efficient and helpful. The food, teas and coffees are excellent quality and the prices are very reasonable as well. I strongly recommend the place to anyone .

I just cannot believe the negative reviews posted here. This warm and friendly little coffee shop provides great service. The food's great and to compare the coffee to the soulless plastic fodder served in supermarket cafes is ridiculous. In my personal experience the menu in Deja Vu is varied and always well presented and the hot drinks are actually HOT as compared to other coffee shop outlets.The staff are never less than friendly,and judging by how full the place usually is,they must be doing something right!

Called in here for a bite when the market was on at the weekend. Looks nice enough but looks can be deceiving not that it's bad just I wrongly expected more but here if you want more it appeared some salad pay through the nose 40p for some cucumber buy a whole one over the road for 50p! I know they "need to make a profit" but come on surely?Any how coronation chicken very runny and watery coffe Ok the rest so memorable its gone

Crowded , no atmosphere . just a plan coffee shop . coffee not that great , tescos offers better coffee and service in there restaurant.
