terrible service waited nearly 40 minutes for breakfast. when it came it was swimming in grease. One of the waitresses was petty a customer's dog(love dogs) but it was licking her hand and she carried on clearing table after. Tried to use toilet upstairs as that's what we used last visit but a very rude woman said it was now a tanning salon? so go downstairs. Won't be visiting again thanks !!

Fantastic venue for a retirement party. The service from start to finish was excellent. Bar staff were very efficient and there was no queuing even though there were 150 people at the party. Cannot fault the place.

It's so clean bright and funky furniture and so friendly staff. They will make your coffee a specific way with a smile. Nothing is too much. If they have a special offer on they will tell you about it.

I get inordinately excited when I arrive at the Co-op to find the ridiculous revolving door out of action, or the fire door sneakily open. Otherwise, a rather magnificent store for little Rutland, with a good range of products and excellent staff and service.

Never before have I ever been asked to move from where I was standing with no explanation because they wanted to move a table from elsewhere to sit what they thought were more important customers, no reason no apology , surprisingly we drank up and left and will not return , extremely poor customer service in an industry that struggling

The waiters came across rude and did not do their job as we had to serve ourself. I’m confused on why they we’re even present when they couldn’t even do the job properly. We also called the owner multiple times who decided not to pick the phone up.

The food was great, Staff lovely and accommodating (great with the kids) & the restaurant is designed very nicely!

Really disappointed this morning, the fried egg had a solid yolk. Why is it nowadays that people can’t cook fried eggs, they should have a runny yolk so you can dip your toast in them, and yet again mine arrive with a non dipping yolk. The member of staff did ask if everything was ok with my breakfast, so I informed them of the condition of the fried egg they had served me, but he did not apologise, instead he told me that they have to cook the eggs to a set time, and it depends on the size of the egg! I think this explanation annoyed me even more than the solid yolk, the thing is the eggs are reasonably a similar size and some days they are runny, some days solid, and todays egg was more solid on top than deep in the yolk which actually meant it had been left under the hot lights too long rather than being cooked that way. So basically the egg was overcooked. I felt the staff members attitude of instantly giving a reason that was a load of rubbish was very patronising and really an apology would have been better. Come on Wetherspoons you can do better than this.

Bring your winter woolies it’s December and aircon is belting out freezing cold air at gale force 10. Mr Spoons electric meter must be wizzing round faster than the XMas decorations are. Just going to find a warmer pub

I am a regular, eating here off the menu when 50% off the grill and favourites menu. I visited here on the last day of the last 50% offer and the service was exceptional. My sister ordered haloumi fajitas, totally forgetting her capsicum allergy only to remember when the meal arrived. The fajitas were quickly removed as was the salsa and the Guacamole - which apparently both contained capsicum. The new version arrived with mushrooms in place of capsicum and a large dish of capsicum free guacamole. No fuss. The other meals - halloumi fajitas with capsicum, lamb chops (12 oz - cooked pink) and my mixed grill with rare steak and lamb chop were all cooked to their usual high standard.

Just had our 1st Donner Kebab it arrived on time the salad was lovely and fresh and the Dinner meat was lovely thinly cut and not grease would definitely order from here again

The waffles with chilli chicken, bacon and syrup was delicious. I would only recommend adding a sauce or cream otherwise it can be a bit dry. The juice didn’t have that freshly made fruity flavour. It tasted watered down although I was told it was freshly made (pineapple, pear and orange). Hence the 4 stars.

I know this is now owned by Blue Diamond and not Dobbies but what an awful experience. All self service unlike Beckworth and had to queue for ages to order. Food came out first with no sign of drinks I asked the waitress if she could check on them and she never returned. After going to counter and chasing them up was told ticket machine was down and they didn’t know what drinks had been ordered. No apology so I had to reorder all the drinks and by time got back to my food it was cold. Waitress literally shuffed the drinks on the table eventually but by that time we had all finished the awful food. Chips were overcooked and fish in fish sandwich was dripping with grease. Found attitude of staff very poor. When one waitress cleared table she did ask if everything was ok I said well actually it wasn’t. She said sorry about that and walked off!! We won’t be returning. I know this is has only been opened a couple of weeks but they seriously need some staff training on customer service

Over the years Valerie Patisserie as been out 1st port of call for coffee and cake. Today, we noticed on arrival only 2 tables were being used. Said good morning to the lady behind the counter and sat down. From then it all went wrong. Young guy came up go us saying "In future wait to be seated I'm on my own. And if your eating with us your on the wrong table. To low". Neither of us replied as we were totally taken aback. On that we got our belongings and left. Ventured to Cafe Ori and got fab service. 17/04/24 Further to my review I did get a reply back from PV asking me for more details of our experience to which I sent. Including pictures. I then received an email on 11th from their Head of Operations introducing themselves asking if they could call me. No call.
