Nice place for kids and adults. Bingo every day and night. Arcades for the kids and a food stall outside but you can take it inside to eat

Service is so poor, seated at table was offered tea/coffee and then all staff seemed to disappear. Paid for unlimited tea/coffee only had 1 each. Won’t return here. Afternoon tea was alright, cakes minuscule and overpriced for what it is, the scones however were gorgeous!

Called in here on a Sunday lunch time without booking. Place was busy with a whole host of friendly faces and lovely staff. Got a table and ordered a Roast Pork Sunday lunch and extra stuffing and cauliflower cheese. I have to say that it was absolutely fantastic . Everything on the plate was cooked to perfection. Place was spotless . Toilets spotless. Lots of lovely dining areas and a lovely lounge. Find it weird that there aren’t more reviews on here that are more recent cos there should be. I will be taking the family down as soon as possible. The staff were smart and confident and this gave the place a really professional feel.

We came here three adult and 2 children, my husband and father in law both had the fish and chips and both spent the night with food poisoning

We came here thinking it was still a weatherspoons but it is not, it's had a pint job but all the same old furniture and damaged toilets clearly not a improvement the, We only popped in as we still had 1 hour and 20 mins parking, plenty of time for a beer n burger, not the case however, it's now table service only and took 20 minutes to get served, then 20 minutes after that my wife had to go and ask for the drinks only to hear a member of staff in the background shout "we're busy what does she f###### expect" not the best tbh, Then time started ticking and our food was not arriving nor was anybody else's food who had been served before us, when it got to the point that we had been there for over 1 hour and only had 15mins on the parking, I went up to pay for drink the and cancel the food, the manager who canciled my order was okay however their was a woman in the little room at the end of the bar wavering her writs around shouted "what the f### do they expect?, Well to clear things up for that member of staff who clearly can't control her emotions and clearly should not be employed to serve in a restaurant, I'm not asking for the world when I say, I'd like a drink in my had within 40 minutes of entering an establishment and I'd like my burger within 1 hour and I'd really like to not hear foul language and insults shouted towards me while at the bar by someone who can't control their emotions at work.

Visited Nemo’s for Sunday lunch today. Lovely view of the quarry and friendly staff. Food was not very good at all. Stuffing was not cooked, boiled tasteless potatoes and tasteless veg. Will not return

Great location and a lovely atmosphere with welcoming staff. As an added bonus, they don’t allow dogs thankfully so it is a little haven rather than a kennel.

Decidió comer aquí después de una cita en el hospital. Llegó a la estación de servicio detrás de varias otras personas en una cola de movimiento muy lento. Eventualmente se sirvió con una olla de té y leche con leche de avena ... una joven en bebidas y la otra recibiendo el pago. Pedí un desayuno vegetariano y me dieron un zumbador para alertarme sobre cuándo estaba listo, luego tuve que ir a la escotilla de servicio para recogerlo. Esperé bastante tiempo a que sonara mi timbre pero cuando caminé a recoger mi comida pude ver por qué... una cola extremadamente larga de gente descontenta esperando ser servida por la joven que obviamente se levantó de sus pies en este punto. ¿No había nadie que pudiera ayudarla? El desayuno estaba bien, pero cuando salimos de la cola era más largo que nunca y también lo eran las caras de esas personas pobres en la cola siempre creciente ... . vamos Waitrose esperamos algo mejor!

After visiting Greegs, I felt that I have to inform you of our findings with great concern. On entry we noticed that all tables outside, and then entering inside were covered with food residue, paper, crumps, paper napkins bottles etc. I managed to find a somewhat clearer table to sit at and waited for my husband to join me to sit to eat our lunch at 13.30. After having to wipe the table myself and looking around the cafe, that’s when we noticed the dirty carnage around everywhere, on tables and the floors to your cafe. Wow I thought this is absolutely filthy. Never in my life of visiting Greggs cafe have we ever come across such absolute filth and mess. I took photos of this carnage. I will point out that at this time it was not busy at all, so I took it upon myself to go and talk to one of the 3 staff members that were working in your store. 1 young female and 2 males with glasses. I questioned the young female as to why the store was in such a filthy mess why tables inside and out the floor was not swept and everything was not cleaned and cleared after all this is where people come to eat there lunch. I was told by her I know it’s dirty!! That’s it. I told her that this is not acceptable if the state of the cafe is in such filth what on earth is going on out back in the food prep zone. I pointed out to her that I would be making an official complaint the following day and also I will be contacting the Environmental heath dept as this is a major issue for public health. Also there after there was no attempt of any cleaning going on, the surroundings are a total health hazard and it is absolutely not good enough or acceptable. Nothing followed by any of the staff members to even try and put this right in fact they all just stood behind the counter doing absolutely nothing not even filling up with any food as the counters which were quite empty. What on earth is going on in this Cafe. Where is the Manger in all this. They all need sacking for potentially putting the public’s heath at risk. I have now sent my complaint to the CEO and head office now, and have suggested that they should make an unannounced visit to this cafe to see this filthy mess and also read all reviews that we the Customers have left on Tripadvisor and read all the comments that people are leaving for them. Reply: Greegs is now dealing with the matter. Well let’s hope so!!

Very misleading! Huge signs outside saying dogs “always” welcome. Well it seems not If it’s raining, the bar person claims dogs are not welcome if it’s raining. It is a shame the bar man was so rude considering we had previously enjoyed a nice visit here.

Estoy sorprendido al leer algunas de las críticas aquí. A la llegada nos recibieron de una manera muy amable y nos preguntaron si nos gustaría un asiento de ventana alta o una mesa inferior con asientos presididos - muy lejos del establecimiento del que acabamos de salir! El servicio fue muy amable y la comida era absolutamente hermosa. Había música ambiental muy agradable tocando en el fondo y un ambiente encantador. Fue tan agradable que nos quedamos para el té y pastel después. El pastel estaba muy fresco y nada seco. Nos dieron mucha información local, que, como turistas, era inestimable. Nos pareció que era muy buena relación calidad-precio y nos fuimos de allí sintiéndonos muy satisfechos y, sobre todo, valorados los clientes.

Visited today Tuesday 14th Jan 2025. plenty of free parking nearby. Got a seat ok. A nice well priced menu. Order and pay at counter and order delivered to table. the coffee was very nice and the toast with marmalade was ok. very friendly service

Walked in to the hotel receptionist were busy on screen, said hi asked them what time dinner is served to and if we need to log our car in parking…. Was all fine showed us were Resturant was… we waited for a bit near wait here sign.. no one in sight just a few odd tables with ppl sat down.. (not busy at all would say 10/11 ppl sat down.. walked through Resturant seen two staff members in purple striped shirts Staring at till screen and talking between themselves, so we waited to be acknowledged by them… for a few minutes then asked… hi, is there any one that cud assist they had said “we are busy go back to the front” in a abrupt rude manner like we were not well come.. so we walked to reception and told what we had just experienced and walked out.. they were shocked what had just happened.. and I had told them we had come for a meeting to look at hiring your conference rooms for 2 months twice a week. Not any more we said Moral of the story is NEVER turn a customer away you never know how much business they give even if it’s just a tea or coffee per month especially in these times every little helps.

WOULD GIVE MINUS STARTS IF I COULD !!! Absolutely disgusted by the way I have just been treated at this place !!! i took my mum for lunch on my dinner break from work, and we ordered a jacket potato (woman in front of me ordered and the girl checked she had some before continuing to take her order!) and a toastie we were upsold crisps to go with and it and a latte. we sat down apx 10 mins later we were told they didn't have any jackets i declined any other option and said that is unfortunately what i wanted and could we have a refund on the food so me and my mum could go somewhere else for dinner together, as i wasn't told on point of ordering. i then was approached by a very hostile manager who said the toastie is already made and was very aggressive. After being very unhelpful he then said he would refund me where he obviously didn't know what he was doing on the till and gave me cash back for each item in pennies practically (the toastie but not the crisps he upsold me and the potato but not the drink) i asked for it go go back on my card he refused said it had to be done this way so rude and took a long time eating into my lunch break with still no lunch. i left in amazement of how i was treated and spoken to and i admit i pulled the door when it does say push however it opened. The manager then came out and started shouting at me how i nearly broke the door very aggressively in front of the whole arcade. disgusting do not go i will be sharing this experience !!!

Service was slow, took a while to get my food but I guess it's okay if you're just there to sit and chat, which a lot of the customers like to do. I ordered the jacket potato with bean and cheese, the portion was an okay size. I did ask for more cheese but don't feel like it had a lot as it was just on the top. The potato was a bit dry, they didn't put any butter in the potato. Overall, it's quite pricey but a nice little place to come for a cup of tea.
